Fan of him even though I've yet to finish QSD! I'm currently avoiding spoilers but it's kinda difficult.I kinda know that he and Duk Man didn't end up together Anyway I love his acting! It helps that he has this manly charisma and everytime he smiles, I smile too. Hope he comes over to Singapore!

Kim Nam-gil turns into a Bad Guy

Queen Seon-deok’s breakout star Kim Nam-gil, aka Bi-dam, has picked his next project: he’ll take the lead role in the drama Bad Guy [나쁜남자], which will be directed by PD Lee Hyung-min of Snow Queen, I’m Sorry, I Love You and Sangdoo, Let’s Go To School. (The drama was also a possible contender for being Lee Min-ho’s comeback, but as we know, he chose Personal Taste instead. I’m pretty satisfied on both ends of this one.)

Bad Guy is a melodrama that tells the story of a modern man’s path to achieving his secret ambitions. The role calls for Kim Nam-gil to be “masculine but also sexy” as a bold man with his eye on becoming a third-generation chaebol; he uses his considerable skills and smarts to take over a chaebol group.

The drama is aiming to air in the first half of 2010; aside from Kim, the production is still casting the other lead male and female roles.

wish i knew his whereabouts in the US. dude needs more publicity haha

i'm glad that he's the lead! even tho he's like lead to me in QSD lol yeah but no more bidam. i just hope i'll like his new character and the drama as much as i like bidam. in the past i've tried dramas with people i like but couldn't finish it due to the storyline.

I tried to help you out but I think you chose the wrong link from your uploaded album.

Try selecting the link indicated against "Direct" instead of "Friends" and place it in between the image codes/tags

Kim Nam-gil to star in new TV drama "Bad Guy"

Korean actor Kim Nam-gil [Asia Economic Daily]

Korean actor Kim Nam-gil is set to star in a new television drama titled "Bad Guy", according the show's producer Good Story on Tuesday.

The actor has been cast for the lead role, playing an ambitious character named Gun-wook who wants to take over a business empire, Good Story announced in a press release.

The 16-episode mini-series will be co-produced by Good Story and ACC (Asia Contents Center Inc.), an affiliate of Japan's major broadcaster NHK. The show had already been sold to ACC during its planning stages.

"Guy" will be helmed by Lee Hyung-min, who previously directed Asian superstar Rain in his television debut "Sang Doo! Let's Go To School" and Hallyu star So Ji-sub in the 2004 hit "I'm Sorry, I Love You".

Kim Nam-gil, 28, became a household name last year playing the role of Bidam in MBC's historical drama "Queen Seon-deok".

The drama will go into shoot next month and will air in the first half of 2010.
