Meanwhile, Lee Seung-gi was performing an action scene for the drama “You’re Surrounded” when his eye was suddenly poked by a prop sword.

He wanted to come back to the drama right away but the doctor advised him to take a break, as he desperately needed one due to the severity of his eye condition.

“You’re Surrounded” was cancelled on the 11th and replaced with a special episode. The action scene where Lee Seung-gi was injured is the final part of the episode shown on the 12th.

His agency Hook Entertainment rep told MyDaily on the 13th, "Lee Seung Gi plans to return to filming his SBS Wed-Thurs drama 'You're Surrounded' in the late afternoon of the 13th or the morning of the 14th... The condition of his injured eye has improved a lot. No surgery was needed and he took some time to rest and visit the hospital... But he is not fully recovered yet so we have to continue to observe his condition."
Lee Seung Gi previously injured his eye while filming an action scene which involved a fake knife prop on the early morning of the 9th and was rushed to the hospital for examination and treatment. As a result of Lee Seung Gi's absence, the drama put a halt on its filming and the June 11th episode was canceled and a special was aired in its place. But as his condition is now stable enough to resume filming, let's hope he will make a complete and speedy recovery to feel back at 100% soon!

The photo was taken on June 13th which was then posted on an online community forum in place of a drama spoiler. The publisher then wrote as a caption, “His eye injury looks too severe,” evidently radiating concern for Lee Seunggi’s seemingly unattended eye injury.

In the photo, Lee Seunggi was seen with a swollen eye and tightly pursed lips, donning a common hospital attire while walking quickly to an unknown location. His clothing suggested to many fans that Lee Seunggi had returned to filming too soon for his eye to completely heal.

In response, representatives from his agency explained that he had indeed healed, and was coincidentally filming for a hospital scene for the drama.

Hook Entertainment informed Newsen that “The photo was taken while filming the following scene of him entering a hospital after a gun fight on the set of ‘You’re Surrounded,’” adding that, “His swollen face and eye features are a result of the camera shaking,” as well as powerful makeup.

The agency added, “Since he had received treatment on the 13th, his condition has resulted well. If he was in a state as bad as the photo indicated, we would not have made him participate in filming.”

Our SeungGi on the way to recovery! :x SeungGi came out at around 8pm KST, and greeted the fans.He then took pictures with the fans.
When asked about his eye, he said it was ok.
There was some redness in both of his eyes, and his left eye was pretty sensitive to light. They turned off the flash while taking pictures.
There are no injuries around the eye, but he seems to have some eye fatigue.
When he sat down to eat, the light above him was also turned off.
He’s not wearing sunglasses.
He’s very skinny, but he seems to be in high spirits.
Fans asked him if his eye was really ok, he made a ‘fighting’ gesture.
He just finished eating, and left.

But anticipating if SeungGi really will accept that movie, I should start to search more info so I will interested more. Like I said before, The PD previous works looks so promising, but I'm not too excited when read the title and the sort syonpsis. So at least I should know more about their character.
