13 of the Highest Paid K-Drama Actresses and What They Earn

In the United States, it’s pretty well-known how much TV actors make, and there are lists everywhere enumerating the highest paid TV actors of all time, topped by actors like Charlie Sheen, who earned 1.8 million USD per episode of “Two and a Half Men” (2003-2015), and Ray Romano, at 1.7 million USD per episode towards the end of “Everybody Loves Raymond” (1996-2005).

Among the women on the list are Helen Hunt, who earned 1 million USD per episode of “Mad About You” (1992-1999) and Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox, and Lisa Kudrow from the cast of “Friends” (1994-2004), all of whom (including the guys from the cast) also earned 1 million USD per episode towards the end of the sitcom. 

Of course, these actors are at the upper end of the spectrum on an all-time list; many TV actors earn just a fraction of these actors, and these figures are for the United States.

So how do the figures for K-drama actresses compare? It’s a different market and a different country; how much do top-earning actresses like Jun Ji Hyun, Song Hye Kyo, and Kim Tae Hee make?

In 2015, an actress will bring in about 50 billion won (approx. 42 million USD) in sales in the industry. Korean media outlet Daily Sports put together a list of Korea’s top actresses’ earnings per episode after consulting with drama production companies, broadcasting company producers, management staff members, and other specialists in the entertainment industry.

Park Shin Hye and Moon Chae Won enter the list with earning of roughly 25 million won (approx. 21,000 USD) per episode. For Park Shin Hye especially, with the highly popular drama “Pinocchio” under her belt, is predicted to see a rise in her per episode pay.

Park Shin-hye to appear again on ‘Three Meals a Day’

Actress Park Shin-hye visited Oksunbong Peak in Danyang County once again to shoot for tvN reality program show “Three Meals a Day.”

The latest teaser of the show displays Park visiting the place without any food.

She says, “I will be treated well this time.”

Park also said she holds a share of corn fields, to which she contributed a lot.

Meanwhile, Taecyeon, a regular on the show, is said to greet Park ardently in the new episode. Taecyeon seemed to have a crush on Park in the previous episode.

The episode featuring Park will air Friday at 9:40 p.m.

Just notice shinhye cf 2015 mostly have gap with their partner.. i think millet cf worst but mind bringe totally worst. It different cf  2014, we can delulu with an jae hyun, yys and TOP but in 2015 only with js cf involve with skinship. Oh forgot cf shinhye with seung ho.  I think this year median didnt have cf between yys n shinhye.

I really like all photo shoots  Mind Bridge, Millet, Rapido, Hstyle, Bruno Magli, Agatha, RYO.  Amazing images.
Every time a surprise. They revealed to me new, unknown and  intriguing PSH.  I want to see these PSH's images in her new works (in the dramas and movies) today.

I like that she is increasingly working with the guys-models, not actors. This is not just hype, this is high fashion.) 

I like her recent photo shoots for the magazine. She is becoming more and more interesting and professional model. This is her new aspect, another talent.

 

For me...

2015 is the year of the birth of a completely different PSH. The adult, restrained sexual, sensual, smart, stylish, fatal beauty ...

Park Shin Hye stands up to bullies! Over the weekend, the Pinocchio shared her opinion of people sending hateful messages through social media. Park literally feels sorry for her cyberbullies who waste their time sending evil comments when they could be spreading love.

 

She posted this heartfelt message especially for them: "I′m living my life the way my mom gave birth to me. Why with with your pretty lips and precious hands are you saying those things..and writing those things? Sigh..such a pity.."

Of course, her true fans stood by her and cheered her up with supportive messages after reading the frustrated post. The message came after twisted rumors began circulating online that she had plastic surgery. Her real fans know that Park is a natural beauty and those false rumors are groundless. Plus, the 25-year-old isn't letting the fictional news get her down. The beautiful seaside photo is enough to make anyone forget their worries!
