I came to admire you even before Stairway to Heaven with your chubby cheeks and a pretty smile. I saw you grow as an actress in your You're Beautiful drama but you know what really caught my heart? It was your drama Heartstrings that made me fall in love with you, both of you.

Yes Eonni, it's not only you but with also Jung Yong Hwa. I really love your chemistry, it's undeniable and felt so real. I grow to be a yongshin fan and seeing you together is making me happy. I found myself smiling everytime I came to rewatch Heartstrings for like a hundred times. It's nearly a decade since the very first episode was aired and I'm still hooked like every 

time.

In a recent interview with Sports Kyunghyang, Jeon Jong Seo talked about her new film “The Call”!

During the interview, Jeon Jong Seo shared, “Acting with animal instincts is complex and delicate because you can’t second guess,” revealing that she’s a straightforward person who is in touch with her emotions.

 

“The Call” is a mystery thriller about two women who live in different times and the events that unfold when they are connected through a phone call. In the film, Seo Yeon (played by Park Shin Hye) contacts Young Sook (played by Jeon Jong Seo), who lived in her house 20 years ago.

 

On her recent project with Park Shin Hye, Jeon Jong Seo shared, “I mainly attacked while Seo Yeon (Park Shin Hye) had to shield and defend. In that sense, Park Shin Hye used more energy than I did. Following that example, I proportionally increased my acting energy. I’m very grateful.”

The actress continued to share, “I’m still lacking experience, so I couldn’t show anything close to the stability Park Shin Hye has. If [her stability] was lacking from the film, the story could have become extremely superficial. She maintained the balance until the end with the same weight. If it hadn’t been for her, I get the thought that the film’s balance could have been broken. I wish to also gain that kind of force.”

Isn't it the'curiosity ' that always happens within me? I tend to get inspiration from every moment when a question mark occurs within me rather than a clear object or opportunity. The inspiration that I think of is like'the driving force that makes me move'. When the curiosity within me is replaced by the curiosity I want to find out, I often feel that the power to move me is created. Sometimes the object is a script that arouses curiosity, sometimes it is a conversation or a person. There are so many moments in my daily life that I get curious. In particular, when you encounter a script that arouses curiosity, you are motivated by itself and a desire to persevere.

 

I'm curious about your efforts to find such inspiration.

 

First, try to focus on the essence. This is because I think that if you focus on the essence, you will find good inspiration every moment you live. It seems that there are many times in my life that I forget the essence of trying to do something intense, think more about sub-elements, and care about it. Whenever that happens, it is necessary to go back to the essence and ask yourself what the'first mind you wanted' was, or look into your heart. I think that the essence of the job I chose to be an'actor' is that I am good at acting and not forgetting the weight and responsibility of my job, but when I am busy working, sometimes I am more interested in secondary work. Suddenly, through self-reflection, someone's advice, or some kind of learning, they undergo trial and error to think about the essence again. Of course, the process is not always easy, but through those experiences, we realize how important it is to get closer to the essence and focus.

Actor Park Shin-hye donated a sanitary pad for a child with financial difficulties with a fund of about 20 million won that was collected for the'Starlight Angel Project' ahead of Christmas. Yuhan-Kimberly also decided to additionally apply 57,000 pads of good feeling sanitary pads to the Hunger Countermeasure Regional Children's Center, where Park Shin-hye works as a public relations ambassador, in order to join actor Park Shin-hye's good works.

 

The sanitary pads, which were donated by actor Park Shin-hye, donated to children at 62 regional children's centers nationwide, including 38 ``Happy Home Schools'' at regional children's centers for hunger countermeasures and 24 centers recommended by the Korea Regional Children's Center Association. The sanitary napkin prepared with Yuhan-Kimberly's participation was additionally applied to 690 people at six Gwangju youth counseling centers recommended by the Hunger Countermeasure.

 

An official from Yuhan-Kimberly said, “Good Feel, a representative brand for women’s products, will grow into a brand that can provide more comfort to women with actor Park Shin-hye.” “Innovative activities to provide more reliable products along with new advertising campaigns are also ongoing. I will do it.”

 

On the other hand, feeling good is to continue donating sanitary napkins for the health of young women, menstruation and learning rights. Since 2016, the Korea Women's Foundation and 6 regional offices of education have donated over 1 million pads of sanitary pads every year to low-income girls. To date, about 6 million pad sanitary pads have been delivered.

In The Call, Park Shin-hye plays a young woman named Seo-yeon who gets connected through a mysterious telephone with another woman named Young-sook. It turns out Young-sook belongs 20 years in the past. Seo-yeon at first befriends Young-sook, but soon discovers that Young-sook has a taste for murder that may have deadly, time-transcending consequences for the present day.

 

Well-designed gothic visuals and a suspenseful storyline help make The Call a highly entertaining experience. Special praise also goes to Jeon Jong-seo, who plays the utterly chiling Young-sook in what is only her second feature film role (after starring as Hae-mi in 2018’s Burning).
