Plot

Influenced by seeing her father run a tailor shop, Baek Mi-Young (Lee Min-Jung) dreamed of becoming a tailor. After her parents' sudden death in an accident, she became even more focused on her job at a wedding gown shop where she was employed. She then met designer Ji Won-Ho (Kim Ji-Suk), who worked at the same company. He fell in love with her at first sight. After 6 months of dating, he asked her to marry him and she said yes. They then started the company G&White together. Their marriage life went smoothly without any major crisis initially, but an incident took place during their 4th year of marriage. This caused a crisis in their marriage. Now, they are in their 7th year of marriage and their company G&White is on the verge of bankruptcy. Actress Lee Min Jung might be the face of the new K-drama, "Let's Get A Divorce"

Lee Min Jung might return to K-dramas with Let's Get A Divorce (literal title).

On September 6, media outlets reported that Lee Min Jung has been picked to lead the upcoming K-drama Let's Get A Divorce. 

Lee Min Jung's agency, MS Team Entertainment shared their side regarding the reports. According to them, "Lee Min Jung did receive the offer and the actress is currently reviewing it."

If Lee Min Jung confirms her appearance, this will be her grand comeback to K-dramas after almost five years. This will also be her first K-drama project since she gave birth to her second child last December. 

Lee Min Jung last starred in the 2020 K-drama Once Again, where she worked alongside Chun Ho Jin, Cha Hwa Yun, Lee Jung Eun, Oh Dae Hwan, and Lee Sang Yeob. Last year, the actress also starred in the film Switch with Kwon Sang Woo and Oh Jung Se.

 

In 2022, there were reports that Lee Min Jung will be part of the upcoming K-drama Villains. Up until today, there is no confirmation yet on the release date of the said thriller mystery series. 

 

 

Let's Get A Divorce will depict the story of a wedding dress CEO and a designer who decided to get a divorce and end their exhausting marriage. 

Lee Min Jung got the offer to portray the role of Baek Mi Young. She is the CEO of a wedding dress company. After seven years of marriage, she decided to divorce her husband Ji Won Ho.

Lee Min Jung and Kim Ji Suk will be starring together in a brand-new drama!

On November 11, the upcoming drama “Fine, Let’s Get Divorced” (literal translation) announced that Lee Min Jung and Kim Ji Suk had been cast in the leading roles.

In what will mark her first drama in five years, Lee Min Jung will be playing the role of Baek Mi Young, who is the CEO of her own company. Kim Ji Suk will play her husband and co-CEO Ji Won Ho.

Because Baek Mi Young grew up watching her father run a tailor shop specializing in men’s suits, she dreamed of becoming a tailor herself. After suddenly losing both of her parents in a tragic accident, Baek Mi Young threw herself into her work. She then wound up getting married to Ji Won Ho, a wedding dress designer who fell in love with her at first sight.

At the first job of his career, Ji Won Ho’s protective instincts were awakened by Baek Mi Young, and he proposed to her just six months after they started dating. Although their married life went smoothly at first, the couple’s relationship fell into crisis in the fourth year of their marriage due to an unexpected incident.

After doing everything in her power to keep the company she founded together with her husband, Baek Mi Young ultimately ends up asking Ji Won Ho for a divorce seven years into their marriage.

On November 11, promotional agency Whytely Company announced that Kim Ji Suk and Lee Min Jung have been chosen as the main leads of the upcoming K-drama Okay, Let's Get a Divorce. 

Okay, Let's Get a Divorce will showcase the story of a 7-year-old married couple who are the CEOs of a wedding dress company. After seven years of marriage, the couple will try to end their exhausting marriage.

Lee Min Jung will portray the role of Baek Mi Young, the CEO of G&White, a wedding dress shop. She lost her parents due to an accident and hurriedly got married after working like crazy. Seven years after the marriage, she wanted to call it quits. 

Kim Ji Suk will portray the role of Ji Won Ho, the co-CEO of the company and Baek Mi Young's husband. She fell in love at first sight with Baek Mi Young and asked her for marriage only after 6 months into dating.

Lee Hyun Jin's first K-drama project for 2025 will be Okay, Let's Get a Divorce.

On November 25, it was officially confirmed that Lee Hyun Jin will be added to the cast of  Okay, Let's Get a Divorce. He will be working alongside Lee Min Jung, Kim Ji Suk, Ki Eun Se, and Goo Sung Hwan. 

This will be the first official K-drama project of Lee Hyun Jin after three years. 

The actor last starred in the 2022 K-drama Gold Mask with Cha Ye Ryun, Lee Hwi Hyang, Na Young Hee, Yeon Min Ji, and Lee Joong Moon. He also made a cameo appearance in Work Later, Drink Now Season 2.
