Jun So Min, Gong Min Jung, and Jang Hui Ryoung will be starring in a new drama together!

On October 22, KBS Joy announced that Jun So Min, Gong Min Jung, and Jang Hui Ryoung have been confirmed to star as the leads in the upcoming drama “I’m Jisong Again Today” (literal translation). The Korean title is a play on words as “Jisong” sounds similar to the word “sorry” and is also part of the main character’s name Ji Song Yi.

“I’m Jisong Again Today” tells the story of Ji Song Yi, a single woman who abruptly breaks off her engagement. As she struggles to pay off her newlywed home loan, she faces challenges while trying to make ends meet in a new city, working various part-time jobs.

Jun So Min will portray Ji Song Yi, a woman who disguises herself as a married woman to take on the pretentiousness and rivalry of new city moms. She aims to realistically depict Ji Song Yi’s challenging life, which is often hidden behind the glitz, along with the chaotic romance that develops. Known for her versatility in dramas such as “Cleaning Up” and “1% of Something” as well as variety shows including “Running Man” and “Sixth Sense,” Jun So Min is drawing attention for how she will bring this resilient and cheerful character to life.

Gong Min Jung, known for her acting in “Marry My Husband,” “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha,” and “Little Women,” will play Choi Ha Na, a motivated working mom who begins her day at 5 a.m. in leggings, following her morning routine and keeping track of everything with Excel. Choi Ha Na and Ji Song Yi were inseparable for 10 years, but a particular incident drove them apart, raising questions about what caused their fallout.

Jang Hui Ryoung will portray Ahn Chan Yang, a pottery studio teacher who works with children and represents the ideal city woman in both looks and lifestyle. After two years, Jeon So Min is returning to the K-drama scene.

On October 22, it was officially confirmed that Jeon So Min will lead the upcoming K-drama I’m Jisong Again Today (literal translation). She will work with Gong Min Jung and Jang Hee Ryung in the upcoming series. 

This will be the first official K-drama project of Jeon So Min after leaving the variety show, Running Man. This will also be her first official project from her new agency Studio Santa Claus Entertainment. 

Jeon So Min last starred in the 2022 K-drama Cleaning Up with Yeom Jung Ah, Kim Jae Hwa, Lee Moo Saeng, Na In Woo, and Jang Shin Young. She also made a special cameo appearance in the 2023 K-drama Delivery Man. 

The actress is known for leading the K-dramas Show Window: The Queen's House, Top Star Yoo Baek, Something About 1 Percent, Victory For Tomorrow, Princess Aurora, and more.

 I’m Jisong Again Today will tell the story of a single woman named Ji Song Yi. She decided to not continue her wedding but this led her to struggle. She is trying to pay off her loan for the supposed newlywed home in a new city. She currently works several part-time jobs to make ends meet. 

The upcoming K-drama will be the collaboration work of director Min Ji Young and writers Cho Yu Jin and Choi Ryong. 

Jeon So Min will portray the role of Ji Song Yi. She decided to disguise herself as a married woman in the new city she lives in. She pretends to be a married woman because of her rivalry with other moms in the city. 

Gong Min Jung will portray the role of Choi Ha Na, a working mom who begins her day at 5 am to follow her routine. She was Ji Song Yi's best friend but after one incident, the two drifted apart. 

Jang Hee Ryung will play the character named Ahn Chan Yang. She is a pottery teacher who lives the ideal life. She is a city woman who has good looks and an amazing lifestyle. She is also addicted to social media.

It has been a long time since I saw Jeon So Min in a drama. The last drama was Top Star Yoo-Baek with Kim Ji Suk.  I think she will match Choi Daniel very well.

Of course the filming has already started. The drama will air in early December. They kept a secret about the drama or the cast. I wonder if this is the drama that Daniel has mentioned as the new project a long time ago.

Yes, that is the case. Can't wait to see the photos of the first table reading if they ever release it in public. Daniel mentioned about the drama and his role 2 weeks ago in a variety show. Hopefully this will be a nice comeback for him. Can't wait to know more details! It's set as a Thursday drama with 12 episodes.. Do you know if it's correct? Only once a week?? Then the drama would end the run in next February or something! 😙

Actor Choi Daniel is confirmed to star in the upcoming K-drama I’m Jisong Again Today (literal translation).

KBS Joy’s new drama “Sorry Not Sorry” has shared an exciting new teaser!

“Sorry Not Sorry” tells the story of Ji Song Yi (Jun So Min), a single woman who abruptly breaks off her engagement. As she struggles to pay off her newlywed home loan, she faces challenges while trying to make ends meet in a new city, working various part-time jobs.

The newly released teaser begins with Ji Song Yi’s determined expression as she puts on a motorcycle helmet, only to ride a bicycle. However, the next scene shows her near tears as a voice in the background remarks, “I’ve never seen a loan amount like this.”

The reason for Ji Song Yi having to work part-time jobs tireless to pay off her loan is revealed to be because she suddenly got a divorce ahead of her wedding, even despite having registered the marriage to take out loans.

Near the end of the teaser, Ji Song Yi appears to have given up, writhing on the floor. She wonders, “Am I the only weird one? Why does this only happen to me?”
