Shin Cha Il (Shin Ha Kyun) begins work as the leader of the audit team at JU Construction, where corruption runs rampant. Shin Cha-Il doesn’t have faith in other people. He has a cool demeanor and carries out his work with sharp judgment and decisive action.

 

Hwang Dae-Woong (Jin Goo) is the vice president of JU Construction and he is third son of the company’s founder. His ambition is to become the president of the company, by beating his two older brothers for the position.

 

Goo Han-Soo (Lee Jeong-Ha) initially applied for the audit team as a stepping stone to get transferred to his company’s Florida branch, but his plan is not easy because of Shin Cha-Il. Unlike his boss, Goo Han-Soo is a nice and warm-hearted person. Working with Shin Cha-Il, Goo Han-Soo grows as an audit team member.

 

Yoon Seo-Jin (Jo A-Ram) is a rookie employee on the audit team at JU Construction. She is an individualist who aims for success. She has a totally opposite personality from Goo Han-Soo. She has also known Vice President Hwang Dae-Woong since she was a child, but they pretend that they don’t know each other at work.

Shin Ha Kyun and Jin Goo will reportedly join hands in the upcoming tvN office K-drama Thank You.

On January 4, media outlets reported that brilliant actors Shin Ha Kyun and Jin Goo had been chosen to lead the upcoming office K-drama Thank You. 

Thank You will depict the story of a cold-headed audit team leader who works with a friendly new MZ generation auditor to investigate the corruption happening at their company. 

The upcoming K-drama will be the next work of director Kwon Young Il. He is known for creating the K-dramas Doom at Your Service, Search: WWW, and Suits. The script will be penned by Choi Min Ho. 

Shin Ha Kyun got the offer to play the role of Shin Cha Il, the audit team leader of JB E&C company. Meanwhile, Jin Goo will reportedly portray the role of the vice president of the JB E&C company.

Thank You will start its filming next month and according to reports, it will premiere in July. The upcoming K-drama will be part of tvN's Monday and Tuesday timeslot.

 

This will be the first upcoming K-drama of Shin Ha Kyun for the year. In 2023, the actor led the series Evilive with Kim Young Kwang, Shin Jae Ha, Bae Na Ra, Park Sang Won, and Choi Yoo Ha. 

Meanwhile, this will be the official comeback of Jin Goo to K-dramas after two years. Last year, he made a special appearance in the K-drama Shadow Detective Season 2. He will also cameo in the upcoming K-drama I'll Take the Trip for You.

I had to look what MZ generation meant. So, there is another lead character, a younger one (could be a female or another male character). I`m OK with an younger female character paired with Shin Ha kyun if there is no romance involved in this drama. I think it will be a profesional team and that`s good.  Probably Jin Goo will play the baddie here.

 

This drama reminds me of recent kdrama Numbers but I hope it will be a better drama.

I am looking forward to watch it.

Lee Jung Ha might star in another K-drama this year.

On January 19, media outlet JTBC Entertainment reported that Lee Jung Ha will be added to the cast of the upcoming K-drama Thank You starring Shin Ha Kyun and Jin Goo.

Lee Jung Ha's side hasn't responded to the casting reports yet but if the actor officially joins the series, this will be his second upcoming K-drama for 2024. 

The trending actor is also confirmed to lead the upcoming K-drama One: High School Heroes with Kim Do Wan, Lim Hyun Tae, Kim Sang Ho, and Kim Joo Ryoung. 

Lee Jung Ha rose to stardom after being part of the hit Disney+ original K-drama Moving. Many loved his character and acting in the K-drama as well as his chemistry with co-actors Han Hyo Joo, Zo In Sung, Cha Tae Hyun, Go Youn Jung, and Kim Do Hoon. 

Since then, Lee Jung Ha has received a lot of projects and endorsements.

Set around the auditing office in our story’s JU construction company, Shin Ha-kyun stars as the department’s team lead Shin Cha-il. Perhaps due to the nature of the job, our sharp-tongued hero has zero trust in people and is a force to be reckoned with when negotiating. Analytical and decisive, he acts solely by the book and is unmoved by emotional pleas.

 

Of course, Lee Jung-ha is Cha-il’s complete opposite as the optimistic and hapless new hire Gu Han-soo. Angling for a transfer to JU’s Florida branch, Han-soo had applied for the auditing team in hopes of using the position as a stepping stone. “The Auditors” tells the story of a cold-blooded audit team leader and a new hire burning with passion at JU Construction’s audit office where corruption is rampant.

Director Kwon Young Il and director Ju Sang Gyu were present at the script reading along with cast members Shin Ha Kyun, Lee Jung Ha, Jin Goo, Jo Ah Ram, Jung Moon Sung, Jung Dong Hwan, and Baek Hyun Jin.

Among the cast, Shin Ha Kyun’s performance as the cold and pragmatic audit team leader Shin Cha Il, who lacks trust in people, was particularly noteworthy. tvN's upcoming weekend drama The Auditors has unveiled stills from the script reading.  

The Auditors is a mystery drama centered around the audit team of JU Construction, where corruption runs rampant. The drama follows Shin Cha Il (Shin Ha Kyun), a rational leader of JU Construction's audit team who comes to clean out the "rats" eating away at the company, and Gu Han Soo (Lee Jung Ha), a new warm-hearted team member.   

The script reading was attended by directors Kwon Young Il and Joo Sang Kyu, as well as actors Shin Ha Kyun, Lee Jung Ha, Jin Goo, Jo Aram, Jung Moon Sung, Jung Dong Hwan, and Baek Hyun Jin.  

 

 

 

 

Evilive actor Shin Ha Kyun plays the cool and calm audit team leader Shin Cha Il, who doesn't have faith in people.  

 

 

Moving actor Lee Jung Ha plays the new team member Gu Han Soo, a character with the opposite personality from Shin Cha Il.

tvN’s upcoming office drama “The Auditors” has shared the first stills of Shin Ha Kyun and Lee Jung Ha!

“The Auditors” tells the story of a rational audit team leader Shin Cha Il (Shin Ha Kyun) and a new emotional hire Gu Han Soo (Lee Jung Ha) at JU Construction’s audit office where corruption is rampant.

The first still features Shin Cha Il, JU Construction’s audit team leader who exudes an unapproachable charisma. Having no trust in people, Shin Cha Il is a godsend for the team as he is someone who is unfazed by sentimentality, emotions, or personal affiliations. Moreover, his leadership embodies essential traits such as astute judgment, decisiveness, and eloquence.

 

Gu Han Soo is a new employee at JU Construction’s audit team who places great importance on trust in others. Gu Han Soo’s vibrant spirit and optimistic outlook enrich his interactions, as he extends kindness to the weak and stands unwavering against the powerful, striving to embrace life without regrets.

 

Despite their contrasting beliefs about trust, the two come together to tackle incidents within the company, confronting various challenges and adversaries head-on.

The production team shared, “It will be intriguing to see Shin Cha Il and Gu Han Soo, who have contrasting personalities, solving cases together and gradually resembling each other. The Auditors is centered around the audit team of JU Construction, where corruption runs rampant. The drama follows Shin Cha Il (Shin Ha Kyun), a rational leader of JU Construction's audit team who comes to clean out the "rats" eating away at the company, and Gu Han Soo (Lee Jung Ha), a new team member known for his kindness and warm-hearted demeanor.    

Shin Ha Kyun portrays Shin Cha Il, JU Construction's audit team's leader. He doesn't trust people, isn't swayed by pity, emotion, or connections, and possesses valuable qualities such as swift judgment, decisiveness, and eloquence making him a perfect audit team leader.  

 

 

 

Lee Jung Ha plays Goo Han Soo, a new employee in JU Construction's audit team who values trust in people. He is an optimistic young man with a positive outlook towards the world and a mindset of living life without regrets. He is a typical strong-willed-but-weak type of character who is kind to the weak and not intimidated by the strong. 

 

 

Despite their opposite views on trust, the two will unite as one in the face of incidents within the company. They will spare no effort in dealing with various accidents and villains that threaten the employees. 

The Auditors will premiere in July. More news about the K-drama's OTT service is yet to come.

tvN’s upcoming drama “The Auditors” has released its first poster!

 

“The Auditors” tells the story of rational audit team leader Shin Cha Il (Shin Ha Kyun) and emotional new hire Gu Han Soo (Lee Jung Ha), who work together at JU Construction, where corruption is rampant.

 

The newly released poster highlights the essential tool used by the audit team: the audit box, whose contents are hidden. An audit team member is seen carrying the audit box containing evidence of various irregularities, embezzlement, and misconduct within the company, piquing curiosity as to what’s happening inside the company and what impact these boxes will have.

 

As depicted in the poster, the drama will follow the heroic actions of an audit team diving into darkness to go after wrongdoers and build a reputable company.

 

 

The production team explained, “‘The Auditors’ is a drama that aims to punish those who betray other people’s trust and disrupt society, like embezzlers and wrongdoers.” They continued, “Our goal is to give people a vicarious thrill by seeking justice and holding accountable those who betray the trust of companies and employees.”

 

The Auditors” will premiere on tvN in July.
