Synopsis:

After meeting Sima Jiao (Chen Feiyu), the master of Gengchen Immortal Mansion, who has been sealed in the mountains for five hundred years, and Liao Tingyan (Wang Yinglu), who unexpectedly came to the world of immortality, he was overcome by his "salted fish" (a term used to describe people who are self-deprecating and have no pursuits) instinct of wanting nothing. From then on, Liao Tingyan began to guide Sima Jiao to be good step by step, and became the person who changed him. During the process, they fell in love and experienced a love-hate entanglement spanning three lives in the fairy palace, the demonic realm and the human world. In the end, the two chose to protect their love and maintain peace in the three realms.

I LOVE the novel and re-read every now and then. My favourite is the third life time in the human realm, where so many funny incidents happened due to Si Ma Qian having lost his memories of the previous lives. Chen Fei Yu fits my image of SMQ, but I am not familiar with the female lead. Looking forward to seeing the finished drama.

@omiki the Chinese title is so funny - Salted Fish. I didn't realise till lately that it's a slang for people who are self-deprecating and have no pursuits in life. It's Arthur Chen, I would imagine it should be pretty good, though I too have no inkling who the girl is.

after watch the trailer and see some of the poster and images, i drop this from my waiting list, so it's romance drama, it's not may favorite genre
