lee dong wook may join im si wan in ocn drama

 

 

Lee Dong Wook has been offered a role in Strangers From Hell, a drama to be based on a popular webtoon. This will be the second series produced under OCN’s Cinematic initiative, with the narrative centred on a quirky band of boarders living in a dormitory. Im Si Wan has already signed on to play one of the leads and in all honesty, I find Lee Dong Wook more likeable when he takes on dour, less effusive roles, which I think this falls under. I hope he accepts it. The drama will air in the second half of the year.

Lee Dong Wook and Yoo In Na in “Touch Your Heart”

After we saw Lee Dong Wook and Yoo In Na in the hit tvN drama, “Goblin,” we were begging for more. Lee Dong Wook’s character as the morbid grim reaper, as well as his love line with the bright and matter-of-fact Sunny, was odd, but it didn’t stop the two actors from showing passion and intensity. The K-drama gods answered the fans because Lee Dong Wook and Yoo In Na were able to reunite in the series, “Touch Your Heart.”

 

 

In “Touch Your Heart,” Lee Dong Wook plays the cold workaholic by the name of Kwon Jung Rok, who can’t be bothered with love nor women. So when Oh Yoon Seo (Yoo In Na) gets the chance to be his secretary in order to practice for an upcoming role in a movie, he’s obviously bothered and unfazed by her charm. Low and behold, the two end up putting their stark differences aside and fall in love with each other.

 

 

There was a lot of anticipation leading up to the two actors meeting in a new series, and when they did, it was not in the least disappointing! The two have a special connection that is evident onscreen. Everything, from the flirting to the break-up scene, was magical and you could really feel the love and pain between the two characters! Not to mention the comedic genius of Yoo In Na’s comical acting.
