SC2019 Posted May 21 Author Posted May 21 A trailer that features the main cast and director, talking about the concept and the passion that they poured into filming. [cough, cough] a skeptic commented that the choice of words describing the drama hints that the script may not be of superior quality, but let's see, when it finally airs!
newrocher22 Posted October 14 Posted October 14 The first episodes were completely unpredictable. Im glad that the misunderstanding between the main leads was solved quickly. And the plot twist about the Leader of the Shadow Sect...crazy... The ML is good playing the arrogant jerk leader, whom you like at the end of the day. 1
newrocher22 Posted October 15 Posted October 15 the bathtub scene from ep 1 I watched the main actor in In Blossom but he is a whole other level as Murong Jinghe.
newrocher22 Posted October 17 Posted October 17 The cinematography is stunning and the costumes are so gorgeous. The crown prince is smart and cruel and Jinghe's love rival looks like a nice guy. the veil scene... they unlocked a new kind of chemistry during this moment... it was a surprisingly gentle scene...Jinghe patiently lured her with the ''wildflowers''. the calm embroidery scene...Mei Lin discovered a hidden message from Jinghe's mother. Im glad Jinghe found out that his mother believed in him.
newrocher22 Posted October 21 Posted October 21 The festival scenes... The teacher to Mei - '' Are you practicing dance moves or boxing'' but only Jinghe enjoyed it... ep 10 I liked the princess Zigi but she is a little annoying...she unintentionally separated Mei and Prince Jing.. ep 12 Jinghe was so disappointed.
newrocher22 Posted October 22 Posted October 22 A spectacular fight scene in the fog... Jinghe is great as a commander and it is clear that his subordinates hold him in very high esteem. 2:34.... 1
newrocher22 Posted October 28 Posted October 28 Such peaceful and lovely days in the village...the love triangle..Jinghe, Wei and Mei Lin... The King is smart...I didnt expect him to suspect the crown prince. The '' Dont bite me'' kiss...
SC2019 Posted October 30 Author Posted October 30 Express package will be out today for the remaining episodes this evening. Youku is probably in a hurry to cash in on this by selling the package as Zhao Lu Si's drama will premiere on Nov 1.
Wuzetian Posted November 13 Posted November 13 @newrocher22 @SC2019 How would you rate this drama? I couldn't find this thread earlier. Missed out so much on the discussion here...Has anyone compared this to In Blossom?

Missed out so much on the discussion here...Has anyone compared this to In Blossom? Im still on ep 20...I started this because of the ML but the story is interesting and the chemistry is pretty good. But, I hesitate to continue because of the ending. Now, the beautiful references about ''the undying flowers'' seem kind of pointless to me.

I believe many would have missed out on the hidden clues at the end. Please go on. Seriously, this drama is much better than In Blossom in many aspects despite its flaws. This is my 1st time seeing WJY on screen and much to my surprise, it was her 1st martial art drama. She did well! And guess what? She was supposed to be a professional ballerina. No wonder she did well in the dance scene and it was hilarious!
