[Character Introduction]

# Kang Bit-na (Park Shin-hye): Justitia, a demon who judges sinners who have fallen into hell . She entered the body of Judge Kang Bit-na, who committed a mistake during the trial and died in an accident as punishment. She was a heartless demon, but she breaks the demonic taboo by sympathizing with human emotions and falling in love with Han Da-on.

# Han Da-on (Kim Jae-young): A detective in the Violent Crimes Unit 2 of Nobong Police Station and a victim who lost his entire family to serial killer J 25 years ago . He suffers from guilt for being the only survivor among his family members who were brutally murdered.

# Gu Man-do (Kim In-kwon): A demon named Balak who entered the body of a Central District Court official to help Kang Bit-na, who has come to live as a judge in the human world . Despite being a demon, he has a human side and is mindful of his senior demons, Kang Bit-na and Lee A-rong.

# Iarong (Kim A-young): The demon Gremory that resides in the body of professional part-timer Iarong . Although she blindly follows Kang Bit-na, whom she respected from hell, her real identity is Benato, whose mission is to find demons that have become human or fallen in love .

[Short story]

# Park Shin-hye, who took off her candy, is a perfect match for the devil

Park Shin-hye, who mainly played the poor but strong 'candy-type character', transformed into an attractive anti-hero through 'Judge from Hell' . She spits out harsh words and punishes criminals without mercy, and steals attention with her bold action acting. Her uniquely confident and arrogant gaze and expression are said to be the very image of 'Devil Kang Bit-na'.

# Refreshing catharsis that makes you forget 'soft punishment'

'Judge from Hell' reflects the public sentiment that punishment for violent criminals is weak in the work, and puts forward a fantasy character called the devil as a judge. The devil's severe punishment for those who commit serious crimes but do not reflect on them pierces the frustration of reality where there is a gap between the judgment of the law that the public expects and the actual verdict.

[Bitter words]

# Blood splattering everywhere 'Eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth' (An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth) Park

Shin-hye, as a devil, makes the criminal experience the same crime she committed before punishing him. In the process, there are several scenes where she stabs the criminal repeatedly with a knife or beats him without mercy. Although 'Judge from Hell' is rated for ages 15 and up, some say it is too cruel to be broadcast on terrestrial channels.

[Box office buzz]

'Judge from Hell', which started with a viewership rating of 6.8% (Nielsen Korea, nationwide), surpassed 10% in viewership ratings in just 6 episodes thanks to its unique storyline, three-dimensional characters, and attractive cast.

In particular, the episode aired on the 12th recorded 13.6%, breaking its own record for viewership ratings. This is the highest ratings for all Saturday broadcasts and all weekly programs, and it is continuing its popularity by sweeping all the first places.

[Viewer's Voice]

"Park Shin-hye's acting is so good. "Let's go to the year-end awards ceremony", "It's fun and great to watch lightly", "It's fantasy, but it's a bit unrealistic for a judge to speak informally in the courtroom", "It's a bit childish, but it's refreshing", "It's a great introduction and development", "Park Shin-hye's character fits", "It's a terrestrial network, but there seem to be too many cruel scenes", "It's hard to make B-movie sensibilities fun, but they succeeded"

Photo = Provided by SBSIn particular, the analysis is that the unpredictable development is the charm of 'Judge from Hell'. Following Kang Bit-na killing Han Da-on in the ending of Episode 2, in Episode 13, Kang Bit-na chooses death as the price for being reborn as a true judge.

The shocking development of killing the male and female leads one after another has made it impossible for viewers to endure without watching the next episode of 'Judge from Hell'.

Accordingly, interest in the final episode that will air on the 2nd is also high. With Kang Bit-na's life gone, who will punish the villain Jeong Tae-gyu (played by Lee Kyu-han) and how will they do it? Will Kang Bit-na and Han Da-on really break up like this and be separated forever? 'Judge from Hell' is more curious because it is unpredictable, and the reaction is that the catharsis felt while watching the first episode will be even stronger.

Park Shin-hye woke up again and chased after Lee Kyu-han.

In the final episode of the SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'Judge from Hell' that aired on the 2nd, Han Da-on (Kim Jae-young) was shown shedding tears in front of Kang Bit-na (Park Shin-hye).

On this day, Han Da-on and Gu Man-do (Kim In-kwon) met at Oh Mi-ja's (Kim Young-ok) funeral. Jang Myeong-sook (Kim Jae-hwa) asked Han Da-on, "Have you eaten? Your Honor." Kang Bit-na had been sentenced to death. Han Da-on, unable to accept the reality, caressed Kang Bit-na's face and shed tears. As Han Da-on's tears fell, Kang Bit-na's heart began to beat again.

Bael (Shin Sung-rok), who confronted Kang Bit-na at the gates of death, said, "You must have thought about paying the price. The moment you disobeyed my orders, you are neither qualified to be my successor nor qualified to be a devil," and told her to at least make an excuse. However, Kang Bit-na countered, saying, "I made the judgment according to my conscience as a judge," and that it was a choice she had no regrets about.

At that time, Gabriel (Kim Young-ok), the messenger of God, appeared and said, "God has given life to the demon Justitia, so obey God's command." Kang Bit-na asked, "You're here, so do you mean you died to save me?" Gabriel said, "You're the last good person I have to save, a pitiful person. That's all." He said that the release of Jeong Tae-gyu (Lee Kyu-han) was the last test.

However, news came that Jeong Tae-gyu had disappeared. Jeong Tae-gyu, who had applied for special leave of absence on the pretext of Jeong Seon-ho's (Choi Dong-goo) death, ran away, received a forged passport and dollars from a lawyer, and then killed the lawyer. Han Da-on said, "Are you going to kill Jeong Tae-gyu? I'm a police officer. I'll leave it up to the judge's choice. It won't be long until I catch him," and Kang Bit-na said, "Don't worry. It'll be over before then."

Jung Tae-gyu turned his car around after receiving a call that there was a problem with the fake passport. Kang Bit-na, Gu Man-do, Moon Dong-joo (Ha Kyung-min), Kim Jae-hyun (Lee Jung-ok), and Lee A-rong (Kim Ah-young) were preparing for the end. Kang Bit-na, who faced Jung Tae-gyu, invited Jung Tae-gyu into her world, saying, "I'll start the final trial." Kang Bit-na said, "You killed a total of 14 victims. Jung Jae-geol said that? You chose your targets like you were shopping. Instead of shopping, I'm going to try hunting. Killing a person is murder, but killing an animal like you is hunting," and started hunting. Jung Tae-gyu ran around like an animal, hit by arrows.

Then, Kang Bit-na summoned Jeong Tae-gyu and Jeong Jae-geol (Kim Hong-pa), and made them point their swords at each other. Jeong Tae-gyu was defeated by Satan (Park Ho-san), who had returned to his original form. But it wasn't the end. Kang Bit-na said, "Wake up. There's still one last place you have to go," and took Jeong Tae-gyu to Han Da-on's house.

SBS Friday-Saturday Drama 'Judge from Hell'

'Judge From Hell' ended on a high note, with a thrilling and refreshing ending.

According to the viewership ratings research company Nielsen Korea on November 3, the final episode of the SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'Judge From Hell' (written by Jo Yi-soo/directed by Park Jin-pyo and Jo Eun-ji/produced by Studio S) that aired on November 2 recorded 11.9% nationwide, 11.3% in the metropolitan area, and a peak viewership rating of 14.7%, ranking first across all channels in the same time slot, first among Saturday miniseries, and first among weekly miniseries. The 2049 viewership rating, which is used as a key indicator for advertisers, also ranked first among all programs aired on Saturdays across all channels, with 4.3%. 'Judge From Hell' swept various first places up until its final episode amidst the passionate love of viewers, ending on a high note.

The final episode of 'Judge from Hell', which was released amidst heated interest, showed the thrilling cider of punishing human trash who deserve to die and sending them to hell, as well as the true meaning and love of a judge. Above all, it was an 80-minute episode that left deep lingering feelings and special anticipation in the hearts of viewers with a meaningful open ending.

In the ending of episode 13, Kang Bit-na (played by Park Shin-hye) died, shocking the viewers. Han Da-on (played by Kim Jae-young) looked at Kang Bit-na dying and recalled the prophecy that Oh Mi-ja (played by Kim Young-ok) had made in the past, saying, "If we stay together, one of us will die." Then, he was overcome with sadness. He was anxious about whether Kang Bit-na would die like this. At

that moment, Kang Bit-na, who had returned to hell, met Bael (played by Shin Sung-rok). Bael ordered Kang Bit-na to eternally perish, but at that moment, the angel Gabriel, who appeared in the form of Oh Mi-ja, conveyed God's will. God gave life to Kang Bit-na, who had become a good and pitiful person by her own choice, and Kang Bit-na returned to reality. Han Da-on, who found Kang Bit-na who had died and woke up, shed hot tears.

As she returned, Kang Bit-na began a real trial as a devil and a judge. The sacrifice was the evil Jeong Tae-gyu (played by Lee Kyu-han), who had been sentenced to death but instead of reflecting, ran away and killed another person. Kang Bit-na punished Jeong Tae-gyu like an eye for an eye. Kang Bit-na aimed an arrow at Jeong Tae-gyu, who enjoyed murder like shopping, saying, “Hunting,” and it was thrilling and exhilarating.

Kang Bit-na’s cider continued. She made Jeong Tae-gyu and Jeong Jae-gyul (played by Kim Hong-pa) point their swords at each other in the hell courtroom, and dragged Jeong Tae-gyu to the place where Han Da-on’s family was murdered 26 years ago, making him suffer excruciatingly. He also said, “Apologizing is a duty, but forgiveness is not a duty,” and sent Jeong Tae-gyu to hell. Tears fell from Kang Bit-na’s eyes as she made her final judgment as a devil and a judge.

Kang Bit-na comforted all the victims killed by Jeong Tae-gyu in her own way. However, as she had completed her mission, Kang Bit-na had to return to hell. Kang Bit-na received a three-year sentence from Bael and spent her time as a real judge. Kang Bit-na and Han Da-on loved each other as best they could, even though the time was limited. Kang Bit-na also checked what kind of lives the bereaved families of the cases she had judged were living, and she remembered the meaning of a real judge.

When two out of three years had passed, Bael appeared. Bael told Kang Bit-na about the offer from the king of hell, Lucifer, who said that if she killed 10 sinners and sent them to hell in one year, she would be able to live as a human. Kang Bit-na was troubled. Han Da-on said that he would believe in Kang Bit-na no matter what choice she made and stayed by her side. In front of such Kang Bit-na, another piece of human trash who deserves to die appeared again, and her eyes sparkled. The final episode ended with Kang Bit-na introducing herself as a “judge from hell” and smiling wickedly but lovingly. “Judge from Hell

” presented catharsis with a story where a devil who entered the body of a judge cleverly evades the law and punishes and sends criminals to hell. The dating violence, insurance murder, and child abuse dealt with in the process were cases that could happen in real life, which made viewers even more angry, and the sense of relief when the criminals were punished was also powerful.

This was possible thanks to the fantasy elements of the evil but lovable anti-hero Kang Bit-na, and the passionate acting of actress Park Shin-hye, who perfectly portrayed it with her unwavering passion. Here, the unique and fascinating worldview of hell, the attractive composition of writer Jo Yi-soo who completed the unpredictable development, the unique charm and expressiveness of Kim Jae-young who detailed the changing emotional lines of the characters in the play, the fantastic play of the colorful characters, and the speedy and sensual directing of director Park Jin-pyo that encompassed all of this increased the immersion of the play.

Above all, the strong message that "the law does not forgive the sins that the victims and their bereaved families do not forgive" ran through the entire play and had a great resonance. The aftertaste of "Judge from Hell," which presented refreshing cider, heart-pounding fun, and extreme immersion for 14 episodes, is expected to last for a while.

'Judge from Hell' season 2 has been hinted at.

In the final episode of SBS' Friday-Saturday drama 'Judge from Hell' that aired on the 2nd, a scene was shown where Bael (played by Shin Sung-rok) offered Kang Bit-na (played by Park Shin-hye) a chance to become human.

Kang Bit-na, who received a three-year vacation from hell, started a full-fledged relationship with Han Da-on (played by Kim Jae-young) and continued her satisfying life. However, with about a year of vacation left, Bael (played by Shin Sung-rok) came to see Kang Bit-na.

He said to Kang Bit-na, "Are you having fun playing judge? There's something more fun..." and "Lucifer has made you an offer. If you kill ten sinners and send them to hell during the remaining year, I'll let you live as a human." Then he added, "Of course, I want you to refuse. You're still my successor. The sooner you make a choice, the better. Lucifer has a hasty personality," and disappeared.

Kang Bit-na, who wanted to live with Han Da-on as a human for the rest of her life, fell into deep thought. Kang Bit-na confided her worries to Han Da-on directly. Kang

Bit-na said, "If you want to kill a criminal, you have to give them a light sentence in court and let them go. Then you have to hurt the victim and their family again. I know how wronged they are, so I don't think that's qualified to be a judge."
