Park Shin Hye Tearfully Watches As Kim Jae Young Takes The Stand In “The Judge From Hell”

Nov 01, 2024
by M Lim

“The Judge from Hell” has offered a tense preview of the looming trial for serial killer Jung Tae Gyu (Lee Kyu Han)!

“The Judge from Hell” is a fantasy romance drama starring Park Shin Hye as Kang Bit Na, a demon from hell who has entered the body of a judge. After meeting the compassionate detective Han Da On (Kim Jae Young), who works hard at his job in a reality harsher than hell, Kang Bit Na embarks on a journey to becoming a true judge.

Spoilers

Previously, Han Da On arrested serial killer Jung Tae Gyu (Lee Kyu Han), the man who murdered his family 25 years ago. Though he considered exacting revenge personally, Han Da On chose to bring Jung Tae Gyu to trial, leaving his fate in the hands of Kang Bit Na. But just as the trial was about to begin, she received a surprise visit from Bael (Shin Sung Rok), who commanded her to release Jung Tae Gyu and send him to hell herself—or face a horrifying death if she disobeyed. The episode ended on a cliffhanger with viewers wondering what path Kang Bit Na would choose.

The newly released stills capture Kang Bit Na and Han Da On in court for Jung Tae Gyu’s trial, each fulfilling their roles as judge and witness. Kang Bit Na wears an uncharacteristically somber expression as she watches Han Da On, the only survivor of Jung Tae Gyu’s murderous spree and a bereaved family member who lost all his family due to the murders. His grief and anger are evident in Han Da On’s wavering eyes as he takes the stand to testify.

Seeing Han Da On’s pain, Kang Bit Na’s own eyes well up, showing her growing empathy toward human emotions. Her reaction heightens anticipation around the big question—what fate will Kang Bit Na ultimately decide for Jung Tae Gyu after hearing Han Da On’s heart-wrenching testimony?

This will be a pivotal moment in conveying the true message of our drama. The powerful performances of Park Shin Hye and Kim Jae Young add depth to the story and will leave a lasting impact on viewers. Please look forward to it.”

The Judge from Hell Episode 12 Review: Bit-na Faces Desires, Nightmares, and a Struggle

by Riya Singh

The Judge from Hell Episode 12 brings Bit-na face-to-face with Satan who makes her face her deepest desire while putting her in a nightmare. Later, Bit-na is caught between her mission as Justicia and her love for Da-on.

The episode begins with detectives investigating Sun-ho’s case and recording his father and brother’s statements, whose names were mentioned in the note he left behind. While the two feign innocence, they hurry with the funeral and don’t even wait for the DNA report of the burnt corpse. However, three days later on the day of the funeral, everyone is shocked when they find out that the corpse is not Sun-ho while the man in question walks into the police station.

A flashback from four days back shows when Bit-na found Sun-ho in a hotel. She involved Da-on in the plan and made a bet with Sun-ho that if he manages to get help from his family then she will let him go. Sun-ho took the bet and called Tae-gyu, unaware that his family decided to end his life. Later, he was picked up by Tae-gyu’s men who tried to kill him as ordered.

However, Bit-na’s team was prepared to win the bet and stopped them from killing him. Bit-na promised Sun-ho to get justice for his mother and he does as told by her. Soon after his “death”, he arrives at the police station with the weapon he managed to take from the house, which is proof of the murders committed by killer J. The weapon is sent to the laboratory, and news soon reaches Tae-gyu.

Stunned by this, Tae-gyu begins to get restless and rushes home to Jae-gyeol and insists he checks whether the axe is in the secret room. When Jae-gyeol doesn’t listen to him, Tae-gyu reveals that he has found the Kylum he so desperately wants, forcing Jae-gyeol aka Satan to do as told. Upon entering the room, Satan finds the weapon missing making him wonder how a human entered the room. He then recalls Bit-na’s expression on the day Sun-ho escaped and confirms that she is a demon.

He then tells Tae-gyu about it and promises to help him escape from the country with all his properties in exchange for the Kylum. Tae-gyu accepts the exchange and gets the Kylum, however, with a plan to end the demon’s life. Meanwhile, Bit-na has her eyes on him and is shocked to see the Kylum in his hand. She rushes to catch him while Da-on also gets the news that Tae-gyu is the killed J he had been looking for.

Will Park Shin-hye, a 'judge from hell', be able to avoid death?

SBS's Friday-Saturday drama 'Judge from Hell' (written by Jo Yi-soo/directed by Park Jin-pyo and Jo Eun-ji/produced by Studio S) is making viewers' hearts flutter with unpredictable and unimaginable developments up until the latter half. Following the ending of Episode 2 where the female protagonist Kang Bit-na (played by Park Shin-hye) kills the male protagonist Han Da-on (played by Kim Jae-young), this time, Kang Bit-na's death has been foreshadowed just before the finale. The response is that this is a drama that 'isn't over until it's over'.

Episode 12 of 'Judge from Hell', which aired on October 26, took viewers by storm with its developments. The identities of serial killer J and Satan (played by Park Ho-san) were both revealed. Kang Bit-na first punishes Satan and delivers him to hell. Then, she tried to punish serial killer J Jeong Tae-gyu (played by Lee Kyu-han) according to the law,

but an unexpected crisis came to Kang Bit-na when the number two man in hell, Bael (played by Shin Sung-rok), appeared. Bael warned her to kill Jeong Tae-gyu after releasing him and send him to hell, or else Kang Bit-na would meet a terrible death. However, she is no longer the Kang Bit-na of the past. She has come to deeply sympathize with the anger and pain of the victims' families. Accordingly, the curiosity of passionate viewers is skyrocketing as to whether Kang Bit-na will release Jeong Tae-gyu and follow the path of the devil, or punish Jeong Tae-gyu according to the law and choose death.

In particular, the preview for Episode 13 showed Kang Bit-na being attacked by someone and collapsing, bleeding profusely, and Han Da-on desperately screaming, “Don’t let her die! Please!” while holding her in his arms, which has heightened the viewers’ anxiety even more. The filming stills of the scene released by the production team ahead of today’s (1st) broadcast clearly show the miserable fate of Kang Bit-na and Han Da-on in the darkness, arousing sorrow.

Regarding this, the production team of “Judge from Hell” stated, “In Episode 13 that airs today, what choice Kang Bit-na will make and what price she will pay for that choice will all be revealed. All of this is expected to unfold quickly and shake up the living rooms. We hope that viewers won’t miss it until the end and will watch immersively.”

The sad fate of Kang Bit-na and Han Da-on, that if they are together, one of them will die, can be revealed in episode 13 of the SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'Judge from Hell', which airs tonight, November 1st at 10 PM. The final episode of 'Judge from Hell' will air for 80 minutes starting at 9:50 PM on November 2nd.

[Newsen Kim Beom-seok]

The popularity of the SBS drama 'Judge from Hell' (written by Jo Yi-soo, directed by Park Jin-pyo), which will end on November 2, is hot. While 'Taxi Driver' and 'Thousand Won Lawyer' have been consistently popular, 'Nununui'-style personal revenge dramas that return the favor have been popular, 'Judge from Hell' has doubled the interest and thrill because the subject of punishment is a judge from the judiciary. A judge who stabs a vicious criminal in the heart while saying, 'Now the real trial will begin'?

An official from 'Judge from Hell' said, "We filmed for 7 months starting in December of last year, and working with Park Shin-hye was like a series of endorphins. It's not easy to meet a writer with such great chemistry and chemistry, so I think it was lucky." The writer applauds director Park Jin-pyo's directing, and the director says, 'The writing is so great.' The two people and Studio S give the actress the final credit, saying, 'Park Shin-hye did a great job.'

Park Shin-hye has nearly 300 outfits

Victory Fairy' Park Shin-hye throws the first pitch in Game 5 of the Korean Series on October 28 (News N DB)

According to them, Park Shin-hye was never late for her group call and never showed any displeasure even when she occasionally encountered poor filming locations. One staff member said of Park Shin-hye, “She is an actress with a sharp mind, excellent judgment of situations, and empathy. Her real personality is also very good.” She started out as a child actress, so she is quick-witted and has transitioned well into an adult actress, so she has no kinks and is full of confidence.

In the drama, Judge Kang Bit-na is set up with a bling-bling style, so she had to change into over 20 outfits for each episode, but there were no problems at all with the outfit changes. One team member said, “Actresses try on and confirm all the outfits before filming,” and “However, this process is impossible when you have to wear around 300 outfits like this. Sometimes, unwanted outfits and shoes come, but I’ve never seen Shin-hye blush at those times. Instead, I’ve often seen her tell the stylist and costume team, ‘You’re working hard for me, so I’ll try on.’”

Sometimes, actresses with personality will not come out of their cars or waiting rooms when there is a problem with the clothes they have confirmed or when the size is too small. They will vent their anger on the incompetent stylists and managers and ruin the mood on set. Of course, Park Shin-hye has her own favorite brands and tastes, but she says she does not reveal her personal feelings for the sake of her work. She respects and follows the opinions of experts.

Park Shin-hye shows off outstanding femme fatale acting in 'Judge from Hell' (Newsen DB)

◆Winner of the Screenwriter’s Cup, Established as Top Female Lead

An SBS executive evaluated, “‘The Judge from Hell’ is the work that established Park Shin-hye as the top female lead.” This is encouragement that while she had mainly filmed melodramas and worked with male actors until now, she has now grown into a solid talent who can fully take charge of female narratives. Thanks to her image as a female lead with whom everyone can relate, Park Shin-hye, along with Son Ye-jin, has often been cast in melodramas with top Hallyu stars such as Jang Keun-suk, Lee Min-ho, Lee Jong-suk, and Hyun Bin.

He added, “In fact, there was another actress who was considered during the planning stage, but due to health and scheduling issues, the age was slightly lowered and Park Shin-hye was changed. Park Shin-hye, who knew that, gritted her teeth and acted without sparing herself, proving her skills with good results.”

The production team of 'Judge of Hell' said, "If it weren't for Park Shin-hye, who acted with sincerity in everything, we wonder if we would have received such a good response," and added, "There are only two episodes left, and the social message we want to convey through Kang Bit-na is well contained in episodes 13 and 14. Please support us until the end."

'Judge from Hell', the pleasure of punishing cider… but 'cruelty' on the chopping block ③

'Judge from Hell' has become a box office hit and has been named as the successor to the 'SBS Friday-Saturday Cider Universe'. It heralded a strong cider and brought out the viewers' refreshing feeling with the subject matter of punishing evil. However, it has also been pointed out that some scenes show excessive cruelty and cause discomfort.

'Judge from Hell' easily surpassed double-digit viewership ratings. The viewership ratings started off at 6.8% (Nielsen Korea nationwide) in September and continued to rise, reaching 13.1% in just 6 episodes. It then achieved its own highest viewership ratings of 13.6% in episode 8. The drama has been showing a slight downward trend due to the concurrent broadcast of highly anticipated dramas such as tvN's Saturday-Sunday drama 'Retirement' and MBC's Friday-Saturday drama 'This Intimate Traitor', but attention is focused on whether the remaining episodes, 13 and 14, will show their potential.

'Judge from Hell' has already garnered anticipation with SBS's proud 'Friday-Saturday Cider Universe' lineup. The drama is about Kang Bit-na (Park Shin-hye), a judge possessed by a demon who shouts, "The real trial will begin now! To hell!", who meets the humane and passionate detective Han Da-on (Kim Jae-young) in a hellish reality and is reborn as a true judge by punishing criminals. The drama stars Park Shin-hye, Kim Jae-young, Kim In-kwon, and Kim Ah-young.

'Judge from Hell' is analyzed as delivering a strong catharsis by differentiating itself from existing works that deal with 'private revenge' by using themes of hell and the devil. In the drama, Kang Bit-na is indignant at people who are more devilish than her and holds the sword of punishment against them. Kang Bit-na's merciless punishment of criminals who cleverly evade the law is a part that provides vicarious satisfaction to viewers. In addition, it heightens the sense of realism and immersion by covering cases that have become major social issues. The criminals subject to punishment include dating violence, insurance murder, and child abuse. Since director Park Jin-pyo, who directed the production, was in charge of current affairs documentaries at SBS's Current Affairs and Culture Department, it is evaluated that his strengths were demonstrated.

However, there is criticism that 'Judge from Hell' is overly cruel in its expression. In the drama, Kang Bit-na increases viewers' pleasure with an 'eye for an eye' method. The drama ultimately creates catharsis by intertwining with the public's distrust of the actual judicial system. The greater the crime or power of the targets that Kang Bit-na punishes, and the greater the victim's pain, the stronger the punishment. In the process, scenes where characters including Kang Bit-na swing weapons or bleed are depicted somewhat directly, and some viewers say that this cruelty is uncomfortable.

In particular, the scene where Kang Bit-na holds an axe and stabs Yang Seung-bin (Yang Kyung-won), who killed his wife and two children but claimed to have multiple personalities and a mental disorder, saying, "I'm going to chop you up and throw you over there," and stabbing him the same number of times as he stabbed his family 21 times was evaluated as 'the greatest cider ever' and criticized as excessive. Some say that the level of expression should be moderated since SBS, a terrestrial broadcaster, is a work that points out the blind spots where justice is not realized in our current society and realizes 'justice.' The method of punishment seems to be 'private sanctions,' but it takes it to the extreme by using the fantasy of a 'devil.' It is clear that it has broadened the horizon of works with similar themes," but also pointed out that "the brutality of the punishment is greater compared to existing works. If this type of expression continues, it is unpleasant and there is a risk that it will not properly convey the theme."

 SBS 'Judge' broadcast capture
Park Shin-hye died after disobeying Shin Sung-rok's order.

On the SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'Judge from Hell' that aired on the 1st, Kang Bit-na (played by Park Shin-hye) died after disobeying Bael's (played by Shin Sung-rok) order.

On this day, Bael appeared and told Kang Bit-na, "Let's stop playing judge. I forgive you for all your sins in recognition of your efforts to retrieve Caelum and send Satan to hell. I will give you one last mission. After releasing Jung Tae-gyu, execute him and send him to hell immediately. If you disobey, you will be dragged to hell and die a terrible death."

Jung Seon-ho (played by Choi Dong-goo) was attacked in prison. Then Kang Bit-na appeared in the courtroom and announced, "There will be no trial. The witness who was scheduled to appear today has unavoidable circumstances, so a normal trial is impossible. The first hearing will resume in two days."

Later, Han Da-on (played by Kim Jae-young) heard that Kang Bit-na had proposed a deal to Jeong Tae-gyu (played by Lee Kyu-han), and worried, "Will Jeong Tae-gyu be fooled?" Kang Bit-na explained, "If he gets tried by another judge, he'll never get away. In that case, he's making a deal with me." Kang Bit-na said, "When we talked about the camcorder, you said they were masterpieces. We have to find them before the trial ends," and said that there might be other victims' footage left on the camcorder, so she had to find them.

Then, Jeong Seon-ho, who had said he wouldn't testify, showed up in the courtroom. He was persuaded by Han Da-on's sincere words. Jeong Seon-ho started with the Kim So-young (played by Kim Hye-hwa) case, saying, "I saw it. My brother killed a male student in Hwangcheon-dong on a rainy day. I was so scared when I saw it all that I couldn't come forward. So I felt so sorry that when I went back there, I ran into the student's mother." He also testified about the Jang Myung-sook (played by Kim Jae-hwa) son case.

While they were unable to find the camcorder, the 2nd team of the Nobongseo Violent Crimes Unit discovered that the 5th basement floor of the Taeok Industrial Development building was hidden. In a space decorated like an office, Jeong Tae-gyu's camcorder and videotapes recording the murder scenes were discovered.

Kang Bit-na responded to Jeong Tae-gyu's lawyer's claim that the videotape could not be admitted as evidence, saying, "Of course it will not be accepted as evidence. However, I personally confirmed that the footage clearly shows the defendant killing people. I will ask the defendant again. Are you the defendant responsible for the J serial murders?" Jeong Tae-gyu admitted it, saying, "Yes, I killed them all."

  SBS 'Judge' broadcast capture
Kang Bit-na asked for advice from Angel Oh Mi-ja (played by Kim Young-ok), saying, "Bael-nim came to see me before the trial today." Oh Mi-ja asked, "So are you afraid of dying? Did you tell Han Da-on?" Kang Bit-na replied, "If I want to live, I have to release that RickRoll'D Jeong Tae-gyu? If not, I'll die a horrible death? I can't leave that difficult choice to him." Oh Mi-ja then advised, "Release him. Don't make trouble by causing trouble and do what you've been doing. If you don't release him, you'll die.

What can I do?" However, Kang Bit-na decided to give Jeong Tae-gyu a fair sentence for the sake of the victims' families. Kang Bit-na went to Han Da-on and asked, "If I sentence Jeong Tae-gyu to a light sentence, will you hate me, detective?" Han Da-on replied, "When I arrested Jeong Tae-gyu instead of killing him with my own hands, my role was already over. The judge makes the ruling according to the law. I trust you, judge." Here, Kang Bit-na tells Han Da-on, "Promise me. No matter what verdict I give to Jung Tae-gyu, you won't blame me. But if you still hate me too much, then you'll forget me." Han Da-on promised, "There's nothing to hate or forget. I know it's hard to get a death sentence. Don't worry about me and judge, just pass the sentence as you see fit. I'm really okay." After that, Kang Bit-na sentenced Jung Tae-gyu to death.

Han Da-on hugged Kang Bit-na and said, "Thank you. Will you go somewhere with me?" as they went to their family crypt. Han Da-on said, "It's all over now. So forget everything and rest in peace there. But I won't forget you. When we meet again, we'll have to recognize each other. I'll live well until then," and shed tears.

Kang Bit-na said, "Read this first. Jung Seon-ho asked me to give it to you," and gave Jang Myung-sook the letter that Jung Seon-ho had given her. Jung Seon-ho said, "I still vividly remember that day in March 1999. I was so scared. I was scared, but at the same time, I wondered what that child had left behind. Now that I know what it was, I can't just throw it away. It reminds me of my mother. I'm sorry for delivering your letter so late," and handed over the letter left by Jang Myung-sook's son.

Jung Tae-gyu received a way to escape prison. Jung Tae-gyu applied for special leave of absence, using his younger brother Jung Seon-ho, who had made an extreme choice, as an excuse. In the meantime, Kang Bit-na bought time by asking the devil who had come to kill her, "Just give me a little time. I have one last thing to do. Even though I'm disappearing, my subordinates will repay the favor someday."

Kang Bit-na, who met Han Da-on, confessed her love to Han Da-on, saying, "The only blemish on my life. My only weakness. I loved you so much. Han Da-on." When Han Da-on answered, "I love you too. I love you more," Kang Bit-na kissed him.

Despite Kang Bit-na's warning, Ia-rong (played by Kim Ah-young) went to Han Da-on and told her about Kang Bit-na's crisis, saying, "Go quickly and stop her, senior. She looks like she's going to die right now." Han Da-on ran to her, but Kang Bit-na had already been stabbed by the devil's sword.

Meanwhile, Kang Bit-na died, raising curiosity about the drama.

Park Shin-hye chose to leave Kim Jae-young and disappear.

The SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'Judge from Hell' (hereafter referred to as 'Judge from Hell') that aired on the 1st showed Kang Bit-na leaving Han Da-on's side.

Before the sentencing for Jung Tae-gyu that day, Kang Bit-na asked Han Da-on to promise that she would not hate or resent her no matter what the verdict was. And if she still hated her too much, then she should forget about her.

Han Da-on cheered Kang Bit-na on, telling her not to worry and to make her verdict according to her convictions. And on the day of the sentencing, Kang Bit-na made a sentence that was different from everyone's expectations. Kang Bit

-na said, "The law will not forgive the crimes that the victims and their bereaved families do not forgive," and sentenced Jung Tae-gyu to death. The bereaved families were relieved by Kang Bit-na's verdict,

and Han Da-on could not hide her gratitude. Han Da-on visited the family's crypt with Kang Bit-na and informed them of the verdict. He promised his family, saying, "We'll have to recognize each other when we meet again, so I won't forget. Until then, I'll live well and be strong."

Jeong Seon-ho, who was sentenced to 15 years in prison, gave something to Kang Bit-na. And Kang Bit-na gave it to Jang Myung-sook as he requested. What Jeong Seon-ho asked for was something that Jang Myung-sook's son had left behind. Jang Myung-sook's son had prepared a letter along with Vaseline lotion that said, "I'll grow up quickly and be filial to you so that you won't have to worry." This made Jang Myung-sook sob with longing for her son, which was heartbreaking.

After that, Jeong Seon-ho took his own life, and Jeong Tae-gyu planned to escape prison while applying for special leave.

And Kang Bit-na told the devil, who asked her to apologize with his death, that she had one last thing to do, asking for just a little more time.

The last place Kang Bit-na headed to was Han Da-on. He told Han Da-on, "Detective, I wanted to catch and kill all the people who made you cry, and now I just wanted to make you happy without having to cry. But I can't keep that promise. I'm going far away."

Kang Bit-na then said, "The only blemish on my life, my only weakness, I loved you a lot, Han Da-on," and confessed her true feelings and kissed Han Da-on. Then, Han Da-on said, "Goodbye, Han Da-on," and said goodbye to her when he asked to see her again.

Lee Ah-rong and Gu Man-do, who found out about Kang Bit-na's decision late, went to find Han Da-on and told her the news that Kang Bit-na was going to die.

Kang Bit-na chose to destroy herself. She was hit by the devil's sword and collapsed, and Han Da-on, who arrived late, rushed her to the hospital. However, Kang Bit-na died on the spot, making people curious about how the story would unfold in the future.

Park Shin-hye was reborn as a true judge, but died as the price.

According to the viewership ratings research company Nielsen Korea on the 2nd, the 13th episode of the SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'Judge from Hell' (written by Jo Yi-soo/directed by Park Jin-pyo and Jo Eun-ji/produced by Studio S), which aired on November 1st, recorded a viewership rating of 12% in the metropolitan area and 11.9% nationwide. This is equivalent to ranking first across all channels in the same time slot, first among Friday-Saturday dramas, and first in weekly viewership ratings. The instantaneous viewership ratings soared to a whopping 15.1%, and the 2049 viewership ratings also reached 4.4%, ranking first across all channels and all programs for the week. 'Judge from Hell', which is reaching its climax, showed its powerful potential until the very end.

Episode 13 of 'Judge from Hell' turned the living rooms upside down in many ways. Kang Bit-na (Park Shin-hye)'s tears as she realized the role of a true judge warmed viewers' hearts. The ending where the main character Kang Bit-na died as a result was a pity and shock itself. It was a 60-minute roller coaster ride that gripped viewers.

Earlier, Kang Bit-na received a terrible order from Bael (Shin Sung-rok) before the trial of serial killer J Jung Tae-gyu (Lee Kyu-han). Bael said to kill Jung Tae-gyu after releasing him and send him to hell, otherwise Kang Bit-na would die forever. Kang Bit-na was troubled. At that time, Jung Seon-ho (Choi Dong-goo), who was scheduled to appear as a witness at the trial, was attacked by someone in the detention center. In the end, the trial was postponed due to Jung Seon-ho's inability to attend.

Han Da-on (Kim Jae-young) persuaded Jung Seon-ho. As a bereaved family member of the J serial murder case and as a police officer. Along with this, Han Da-on also secured evidence of the J serial murder case that Jung Tae-gyu had hidden. The fact that Jung Tae-gyu had filmed and stored all the scenes of his murders. Kang Bit-na, who had proposed a false deal to Jung Tae-gyu in order to take charge of Jung Tae-gyu's trial, felt an unbearable rage when she saw the evidence that Han Da-on had found.

Meanwhile, Jung Seon-ho, who appeared in court in response to Han Da-on's words, testified to all of Jung Tae-gyu's evil deeds. He also apologized to the families of the victims of the J serial murders. On the other hand, Jung Tae-gyu's shamelessness continued. Jung Tae-gyu, who had consistently denied knowing anything about the J serial murders, admitted, "I killed them all," when crucial evidence emerged. However, it was not an apology or reflection. Instead, he continued to make excuses that he had saved the victims from poverty.

In response, Han Da-on, the sole survivor of the J serial murders and a family member of the victims, came forward as a witness. Han Da-on tearfully said, "The world has forgotten us, but please show us in this court that the law has not abandoned us." Kang Bit-na put an end to her wavering heart between the devil and the judge as she watched the tears of Han Da-on and the bereaved families in the audience.

The devils and the angel Oh Mi-ja (Gabriel, Kim Young-ok) persuaded Kang Bit-na to release Jeong Tae-gyu. That was because only then could Kang Bit-na live. However, Kang Bit-na's determination was firm. In the end, Kang Bit-na said, "The law does not forgive the crimes that the victims and their bereaved families do not forgive," and sentenced Jeong Tae-gyu to death. Kang Bit-na was reborn as a true judge who understood the feelings of the victims and their bereaved families.

However, the price of her choice was great. Kang Bit-na, who had a premonition of death, kissed Han Da-on and prepared for a private farewell. Han Da-on, who learned the whole truth, desperately ran to save Kang Bit-na, but Kang Bit-na had already been attacked by an unidentified being and collapsed, bleeding. The scene of Kang Bit-na dying in the hospital and the sad scene of Han Da-on recalling the prophecy made by Oh Mi-ja in the past that "if you stay together, one of you will definitely die" while watching Kang Bit-na in such a situation intersected.

The final cider time of 'Judge from Hell' is unfolding.

On the afternoon of the 2nd, the final episode of SBS' Friday-Saturday drama 'Judge from Hell' (written by Jo Yi-soo/directed by Park Jin-pyo and Jo Eun-ji) will air. Previously, Kang Bit-na (played by Park Shin-hye), a demon who entered the body of a judge, died in exchange for being reborn as a true judge. Viewers are curious about how Han Da-on (played by Kim Jae-young) will endure this sadness and what kind of end will be met by serial killer J Jung Tae-gyu (played by Lee Kyu-han)

who escaped from prison. In the midst of this, on the 2nd, the production team focused attention by revealing Kang Bit-na and Jung Tae-gyu meeting in a meaningful place ahead of the final episode broadcast, as well as Jung Tae-gyu's brutal breakdown. This is a still that will once again cause confusion for passionate viewers who were shocked to see Kang Bit-na's death in the ending of episode 13.

In the revealed photo, Kang Bit-na is sitting in the seat of the judge of hell wearing a captivating red outfit. Amidst Kang Bit-na’s characteristically evil yet lovable devilish smile, his gaze lands on Jeong Tae-gyu, who had escaped from prison earlier, standing with a mean expression. So is this place hell? Did Jeong Tae-gyu die and fall into hell? Curiosity is piqued.

The next photo is interesting because it shows Jung Tae-gyu in a desperate state, as if he is being chased by someone. Jung Tae-gyu is bleeding all over his body as if he has already been shot several times by someone, and his miserable expression makes us anticipate a refreshing cider.

What we must not miss here is who actually executed Jung Tae-gyu. With Kang Bit-na dead, Han Da-on’s anger toward Jung Tae-gyu, who ultimately drove Kang Bit-na to death, cannot help but boil over. Also, Bael (Shin Sung-rok), the second-in-command of Hell, who lost his beloved subordinate Kang Bit-na, is also very angry at the human Jung Tae-gyu. Who on earth executed Jung Tae-gyu like this?

The production team said, "The final episode that will air on the 2nd will feature the final cider time. It will truly be a dopamine explosion that will present thrilling catharsis to viewers." They continued, "The final cider sacrifice will be serial killer J Jeong Tae-gyu, who has killed 14 innocent people but has not reflected on his actions. We ask for your continued interest, support, and anticipation until the end."

The final episode of 'Judge from Hell' will air for 80 minutes from 9:50 PM on the 2nd.
