Ahn Bo-hyun is a Flex x Cop in new promos

SBS has begun releasing promotional materials for its upcoming police drama Flex x Cop, beginning with posters and a teaser that showcases our filthy rich officer Ahn Bo-hyun (See You in My 19th Life) in all his pretentious glory.

In the plot, Ahn Bo-hyun plays Jin Yi-soo, a third-generation chaebol that wields every nepotistic connection he has to his advantage, whether that be to get a job in the police force or put baddies away in jail. He works within the Violent Crimes unit, but while he would rather coast on his ability to work smart not hard, his team leader Lee Kang-hyun — played by Park Ji-hyun (Reborn Rich) — is determined to whip him into shape.

The short teaser gives us a peek into their opposite personalities. While Yi-soo smirks on a motorcycle joyride down the highway, Kang-hyun grips her van’s steering wheel tightly as she chases down criminals. We then cut to Yi-soo’s start date at the precinct, and while he’s dressed to the nines and loving the media attention, a more disheveled Kang-hyun just glares at his extended hand when he goes to pose for a photo op. Looks like these two will have their work cut out for each other.

Additionally, while they aren’t in the promos yet, Kang Sang-joon (True to Love) and Kim Shin-bi (Revenant) will fill out the rest of the Violent Crimes unit.

Written by Kim Ba-da (My Name) and directed by Kim Jae-hong, Flex x Cop will premiere January 26 in the Friday-Saturday slot.

“Flex x Cop” is a drama that depicts the growth and romance of an immature third-generation chaebol who becomes a detective. The drama will be penned by scriptwriter Kim Ba Da of “My Name” and helmed by producing director Kim Jae Hong of “Steal Heart” and “My Love Eun Dong.”

 

Ahn Bo Hyun takes on the role of Jin Yi Soo, the immature third-generation chaebol who swiftly becomes a detective due to his privileged background. Park Ji Hyun portrays Lee Kang Hyun, a workaholic veteran detective who is also the first female team leader in the Homicide Department.

 

In the newly unveiled stills, the tension between Jin Yi Soo and Lee Kang Hyun is palpable from their very first encounter. Sporting a polished appearance with sleek hair and an impeccably ironed uniform, Jin Yi Soo turns heads as he steps into the Homicide Department led by Lee Kang Hyun. SBS's upcoming mystery drama FlexxCop dropped fresh stills featuring the leads of the K-drama Ahn Bo Hyun and Park Ji Hyun.

In the drama, actor Ahn Bo Hyun plays Jin Yi Soo, a carefree rich young man from a chaebol family who parachutes his way into the job of a detective. Actress Park Ji Hyun portrays a passionate detective and the leader of the violent crimes department at the Gangha Police Station, Lee Kang Hyun. 

The series promises unlimited fun through the unusual collaboration between a bickering duo: a carefree rich man and a passionate detective. This sets the stage for an intriguing crime comedy.

In the stills, Jin Yi Soo (Ahn Bo Hyun) and Lee Kang Hyun (Park Ji Hyun) display tension from the get-go, hinting at a collaboration that won't be smooth sailing.

The upcoming SBS drama FlexxCop has unveiled its teaser.

FlexxCop follows the story of Jin Yi Soo, an immature man from a chaebol family who becomes a detective in the violent crime department and solves cases by exploiting the privileges that come with his wealth and status. 

The new teaser features Ahn Bo Hyun, Park Ji Hyun, Kang Sang Jun, Kim Shin Bi, and Jung Ga Hee.

In the drama, Ahn Bo Hyun plays Jin Yi Soo, a carefree rich young man and a parachute detective.

A snazzy new trailer has dropped for SBS’s upcoming Flex x Cop, buying our eyes with bright colors, pretty sets, and, not to mention of course, our story’s main cast led by Ahn Bo-hyun (See You in My 19th Life) and Park Ji-hyun (Reborn Rich).

The teaser takes us straight into the police precinct where our violent crimes unit is (mostly) busy working. As they turn to face the camera, we’re told in the captions that, “the priceless drama Flex x Cop is coming, opening fire in 2024.”

 

 

We then meet the characters in the sequence that follows, starting with our man-child hero Jin Yi-soo (Ahn Bo-hyun). All work and no play makes a cranky Yi-soo, who won’t settle for a boring steel handcuff when you can paint it gold. He’s rich and he knows it, and that doesn’t change now that he’s a cop. But as we learn in the continuing captions, Yi-soo will also be using his wealth for the greater good, teaming up with the violent crimes unit to lock up all the bad chaebols.

Taking charge of the group as their fierce team leader is Lee Kang-hyun (Park Ji-hyun), an experienced detective with a strong sense of responsibility and a healthy love for investigating. Rounding out the team, we’re also introduced to fellow detectives Kang Sang-joon (Bora! Deborah) and Kim Shin-bi (Revenant), in addition to forensics expert Jung Ga-hee (Longing for You). As the teaser comes to a close, the appearing texts promise us a series filled with catharsis, action, comedy, and melo, as well as a story focus on people.

Directed by PD Kim Jae-hong (Revenant, Through the Darkness) with scripts by Kim Ba-da (My Name), SBS’s Flex x Cop will be coming to our screens on January 26, following My Demon in the weekend slot.

SBS has unveiled an action-packed teaser for its upcoming drama “Flex x Cop”!

“Flex x Cop” is a new drama starring Ahn Bo Hyun as Jin Yi Soo, an immature third-generation chaebol heir who unexpectedly winds up becoming a detective.

The newly released teaser begins with a thrilling glimpse of Jin Yi Soo carrying out a dangerous mission while wearing a police tactical unit uniform. After Jin Yi Soo manages to overpower a criminal in the pouring rain, his older brother Jin Seung Joo (Kwak Si Yang) informs him, “That guy you caught was a murderer.”

Jin Yi Soo excitedly asks, “Am I going to receive a medal of honor for being a brave citizen or something like that?” However, Jin Seung Joo shocks him by responding, “You’re going to become a police officer. Everything’s already been worked out with the people upstairs. Let’s think of it as playing cop.”

After suddenly becoming a police officer overnight, Jin Yi Soo arrives for his first day of work at the violent crimes unit in a flashy convertible. There, he meets the passionate detective and team leader Lee Kang Hyun (Park Ji Hyun), who exclaims in horror, “He’s an untrained citizen, and an immature third-generation chaebol heir to boot. He’s going to cause trouble no matter what.”

As Jin Yi Soo begins working for Lee Kang Hyun’s team in the violent crimes unit, she warns him, “This is different from the movies.” However, Jin Yi Soo replies, “It was the same, though? You chase the culprit, there’s tons of action, you take them into custody, and then things slow down.”

The clip ends with Jin Yi Soo declaring, “I will continue to use all of [our company’s] resources to catch the culprit in the future as well.” He then promises an unseen criminal, “I’ll take you somewhere where neither your money nor your connections can help you.”

In the newly released teaser video, Lee Kang Hyun tries to catch a murderer but ends up arresting the youngest son of Hansoo Group Jin Yi Soo as a special assault offender. In order to quiet the storm, the top brass in police and Hansoo Group come up with a novel scenario and announce to the public that Jin Yi Soo has been working as a police officer in secret.

 

Consequently, an unprecedented incident occurs in which a spoiled third-generation chaebol gets appointed as a real homicide detective overnight. Lee Kang Hyun, who has no choice but to work together with him, talks tough and warns him, “If you get in the way of my investigation, I will kill you,” raising viewers’ anticipation.

SBS dropped a teaser of its upcoming action thriller FlexxCop. 

FlexxCop follows the story of Jin Yi Soo, an immature man from a chaebol family who becomes a detective in the violent crime department and solves cases by exploiting the privileges that come with his wealth and status.

The series boasts a stellar cast lineup, including Ahn Bo Hyun (as Jin Yi Soo), Park Ji Hyun (as Lee Kang Hyun), Kang Sang Jun (as Park Joon Young), and Kim Shin Bi (as Choi Kyung Jin), among others.

The teaser intercuts between Jin Yi Soo's "rich young man" and "Detective" personas.

It begins with Jin Yi Soo carrying out a shootout. After he succeeds in his mission, Jin Yi Soo's older brother Jin Seung Joo (Kwak Si Yang) tells him, "That guy you caught was a murderer."
