The new exhibition  "Dior and Art" was grandly opened on 9 November 2023, at the ART021 Shanghai Contemporary Art Fair. 

 

All the stars wore DIOR dresses to participate the grand event.  Witnessing the harmonious symbiosis of Art and Fashion.

The recently announced Dior Brand Ambassador once again demonstrates Deng Wei's strong commercial value.

 

 

 

 

Dior has several brand ambassadors.  And China is not short of male artistes.  Yet Dior chose Deng Wei.

 

Deng Wei has only been popular for a few months.  He has not yet had a male lead drama broadcasted.  That he can obtained this status, is very impressive indeed.  

 

A high-end luxury brand like Dior, usually has a long inspection period for its artists.

 

But the official announcement of Deng Wei happens in just 40 days - from the time they came into contact with him.  This is enough to show the importance Dior attaches to him.

 

Deng Wei's "Likes" in his Weibo Post about him being a Dior Ambassador exceeded 5.62 million

 

 

When Deng Wei's role as Dior brand ambassador was officially announced, his fans were very happy.  As if they had been given a shot of blood.

This is the  "Bear Blanket" I have been talking about.  In a previous post of mine, I mentioned that  Deng Wei  is a "sentimental person".

 

There a few things which he always uses:

-  A Necklace which he bought with his first paycheck.

-  This "Bear Blanket".

-  Another one is a Jacket.

-  Lastly, a Belt he made himself.

 

These things have accompanied him for many years.   "Old means Gold" to him.

 

Today, it is getting "cold" in Mainland China, with Winter approaching.  And Deng Wei brought his "Bear Blanket" to keep himself warm.  

 

I wonder what is the "Story" behind this "Bear Blanket".  Will we get to know it one day?

Wow!  Deng Wei's Diamond Fans  DID IT  AGAIN !!

 

10 MILLION on Deng Wei's Weibo post as Dior Brand Ambassador.  At  9:10pm tonight.  His first 10 Million, with only 4.8 Million of the  Diamond Fans.

 

I salute you all.

 

 

I said it in earlier in my "Post" today.   Some Fans even flew in from neighbouring countries to shop at DIOR in support of Deng Wei.  Read the article below:

 

"A rich diamond  from Vietnam went to Shanghai Dior for shopping to show her support for Deng Wei.   Oops! She couldn't spend 1 Million Yuan, as she doesn't exchange enough money and will come back to shop again to support Wei Wei."

Data shows that two days after Dior officially announced Deng Wei as it's Brand Ambassador on 10 November, the Endorsement Contribution Popularity Index reached 99.95.

 

It exceeded the Average Level of similar and all other endorsements in October which was 67.75.

 

63.45% of the Brand's Popularity after the official announcement this time, came from Deng Wei alone !!

At 1st place was Xiao Zhan for Boucheron.  3rd was Zhao Lu Si for Versace.  4th was Wang Yi Bo for Yaya.   Both Xiao Zhan and Wang Yi Bo have debuted much longer than Deng Wei.  Were more well-established. And had way more fans than Deng Wei.  While Zhao Lu Si is in a popular phase now.  

 

Comparison :

1st Place   Xiao Zhan : 32.05 Million Weibo Fans  - 26,347,562 Hits

2nd Place Deng Wei  :  4.86 Million Weibo Fans -22,576,223 Hits

Let us take a short trip down "Memory Lane" to re-live this momentous day - 12 October 2023 !

Last year (2022) around this time, he was scolded badly regarding the airport incident. Then Yu Zheng added "oil to the fire".  Causing him to be unemployed for 8 months. Everyone scolding him whatever he do. The cigarette-butt incident for one. He been in Hengdian filming for 3 years but he has never experienced this huge crowd waiting for him.

 

Even after he became somewhat famous, people still tried to make small moves behind his back:

-  First they gossiped that he was in love with his co-star from "Lost You Forever", Dai Lu Wa. They were both supporting casts in "The Legend Of Rosy Clouds".  Deng Wei briefly spoke to her at the booting ceremony.  And the gossips started.

- Later, because of Chen Du Ling's photo, Deng Wei was asked to step out and block the knife.

 

Each time, they could not find anything substantially bad about him.  Except for his  extraordinary fashions and photos.

HE WAS SO TOUCHED.  HE CRIED.  He reciprocated by asking to be driven back to the scene to see what his "Diamonds" had set up for him.  Even though before that, he was quickly shoved away by the Crew.  Even though he was already all made up, ready to start Work.  NO actor/actress has done this before.

 

 

 

"Diamonds" are very kind and compassionate people.  They just want him to know that there are people who understand and care.

 

They cheered him enthusiastically and loudly. 

 

So proud of him.  How he turned the table 1 year after.

Deng Wei :  A Childhood Photo

 

He looks so cute as a child.  His double-eyelids and nose were not so well-developed yet. Looks change as we grow.  The little mole on the tip of his nose is already there.  But I cannot see the mole on his right eyelid yet.  (In my opinions, Deng Wei looks exactly the same as this photo - except for the "Eyelids".  Otherwise everything is the same).

 

 

 

Looking at all these photos, I believe him when he said that he Has Not done any Plastic Surgeries.   If there were any differences in the size of his lips, it is because he was wearing "Dental Braces" for the most part of his adolescent years.   

 

Even now, he still wear braces occasionally.
