hush puppy
(Posted on: Thursday, 8 August 2024) Deng Wei : His Performance In "Lost You Forever" Critics and "Blackies" like to criticise his Performance in "Lost You Forever". 1) One of those, was the "Murder Scene At The Peach Blossoms Forest". I must say this is unfair. The problem is not with his Performance. But with the "Camera Works". How can Deng Wei showcase his "Facial Expressions" when the Camera is not focused on his Face? These poor camera-works for Deng Wei, happen quite often throughout the drama. As if premeditated. I am sure it is. 2) The Unattractiveness Of Tu Shan Jing Is also beyond the control of Deng Wei. Scenes vital for the "Character-Developments" of Tu Shan Jing were deleted or "cut". So how can Tu Shan Jing showed his Wisdom, Far-Sightedness and Strategic-Planning qualities ? Despite all these "limitations", Deng Wei's Tu Shan Jing still manages to capture the "Affections" of a large following of the audience. This is admirable. I cannot imagine what will happen, if only the Productions Big-Wigs have been "Fair" to him. They deliberate "kill" Tu Shan Jing to let the Bigger Stars shine. 3) External Dangers On the 14th day of the broadcast of "Lost You Forever S.1" in August 2023, the process reached the stage of making up a scandal to discredit Deng Wei. Suddenly, a paparazzi said he wanted to expose a scandal of a Post 1995 actor who was popular during the summer vacation. Deng Wei was so popular that he ranked first in the hot search list. So others had to stop him. But it turned out that it was someone else who was exposed. Wei's fans immediately renewed their confidence. At that time, his number of followers was less than 140,000 only!! It was really a roller coaster-like plot. Deng Wei's entire process of becoming popular was 3 times or 4 times faster than others! It was so funny! The best iron can only be forged by itself! Everyone wants to be like Deng Wei. But unfortunately not everyone is Deng Wei I never get tired of watching this Clip https://video.weibo.com/show?fid=1034:5065221392498704 https://video.weibo.com/show?fid=1034:5065360228155409
zara111
You are right about the filming angle. It's a waste we couldn't see Jing's face. I like the episodes 1 to 7 the best. The scenes are almost 100% the same as the novel. Jing's face was clearly shown too. After I did some digging, I learnt that the direction of the drama was XL. Hence, I understood the extra scenes to show XL's emotions, which are not in the novel. Well, I don't deny Tan Jianci delivered his role very well. He is in good hands, so he'll be fine. Wishing him success in the future. But Jing was different, he was designed to be a dull character, yet he didn't dim, instead he shined even brighter. Respect!!! 😍 I guess that is why I am rooting for Weiwei. No matter what haters say, Weiwei's can act. His acting may not be 100% perfect yet, but he will be better and one day, unstoppable. 💯 23 hours ago, hush puppy said:

BTW this post of mine does Not have any Video or Picture. So you Do Not have to delete it. "Words" are alright. You can just Quote me. Since we are on this Subject, why don't we "bare our chests" on it. Most viewers "dislike" Deng Wei's Tu Shan Jing for the following reasons: 1) They never truly understand what they were watching. It is like "You Get What You See". They interpret an actor's performance based on what they see - the "Surface". They judge him based the "The Cover Of The Book". a) They never delve into the gist or core of the Character, Scene, or Story. Some have not read the Novel. I only read the Novel after I have finished watching Season 1. Because I normally do not read novels too. I prefer to watch. But I made an Exception for this drama. b) They never consider the "Camera-Works". c) Or deleted scenes. d) They do not understand how the C-Entertainment Business People works. The "Murder Scene At The Plum Blossom Forest" - The Camera was not focused on Deng Wei's Face. It was on his Head. So how can we expect him to "capitalise" on that scene. Everywhere people were accusing him of being a Bad Actor, who does not know how to capitalise on the important scene. - It was filmed so Badly, that I have read of netizens who actually wrote to the Director, asking her "Who Started The Fire". A lot of viewers thought that Tu Shan Jing started the Fire, to commit suicide i.e. die together with Xiao Liu. (How do you expect such people to like Tu Shan Jing?? If they cannot even understand, who started the Fire?). It also shows "How Bad The Camera-Works Were". If they had filmed the Scene more carefully, Deng Wei and Tu Shan Jing would have "Stood Out". - A lot of viewers scolded Tu Shan Jing for being a "Weakling". * Choosing to die with Xiao Yao. * They asked why can he just take Xiao Yao with him and exit the Formation. * They said why can't he try hard to save Xiao Yao. Like Xiang Liu. But they did not understand : - That he can get out of the "Fire Formation" easily. But he cannot take Xiao Yao with him. Because the "Fire Formation" was designed to Kill Xiao Yao alone. Other people can escape. But not Xiao Yao. Tu Shan Jing cannot take Xiao Yao out of the "Fire Formation". He can simply leave to save himself. But he chose to stay and die with her without any Hesitation. How can his Lady-Love not be touched? - Tu Shan Jing's Spiritual Power was greatly diminished by his step-brother. But he still gave all of it to Xiao Yao. Xiao Yao was "Technically Dead". But Tu Shan Jing kept her Vital Organs Alive with his Spiritual Energy. And also by "Attracting" all the "Fire" to himself. Thus keeping Xiao Yao's Body intact, without any "Burns". Whereas he himself was Badly Charred. If Tu Shan Jing had not done this, Nobody could save Xiao Yao. Not even Xiang Liu with his 9 Lives. It is as if Tu Shan Jing had done the "First Aid" for Xiao Yao before calling for the Ambulance. At that time, he did not know about the "Love-Bug" in Xiang Liu's body. That Xiang Liu will feel Xiao Yao's pain and will come to save her. Yet he did all he could for Xiao Yao. I Shall Continue Tomorrow. I Am Having So Much Problems With This Site Right Now. I was disappointed in House of Dragon season 2, and so decided to drop it. While browsing for a similar series, a list of “Lost You Forever” topics appeared, they were intense, and I got interested. After watching S1, I felt unsatisfied, something was not right. So, I read the novel. I understood better. Then, S2 was aired. Errr... 🥴 I agree with you, most viewers “dislike” Tu Shan Jing, as most viewers don’t read the novel. 3 men did their best to save XY : 1) The assassination formation designed for XY was so powerful that once it started, XY was trapped. Like you said, Jing could have escaped but not XY. He couldn't leave XY. He did what he could. Using his spiritual power to divert the fire towards him, he protects XY’s body intact. Without Jing, her body would have been incinerated into ashes already. Because he kept transferring power into her, it kept her a sliver of hope alive. 2)CX used his people’s spirit power that bought time to keep XY alive. 3)XL later, gave one of his 9 lives to XY. In the drama, in saving XY, XL’s part was well presented. Maybe, a bit for CX’s. As for Jing, even though his First aid (I am your term, First aid.) was crucial, it was not mentioned. Sigh ...🙄 Was it too hard to add in few more lines to Jing Ye’s and CX’s people scripts? Would the lines need extra cost? I am not a writer but even I can write the lines … for free … LOL🤣 Missed out lines? Why only when it regards Jing. Like you said, that is how “C-Entertainment Business People Works”. Remember the first time Ye Shiqi and XL meet? Shiqi goes to the Chenrong camp to search for XY. Shiqi and XL stare at each other (Episode 4, I love Shiqi’s stare at XL, Deng Wei's stare is on point ! ). Then, Shiqi attacks XL’s men to get to XY, but XL didn’t do anything. Even though XL is stronger, Shiqi is a Nine Tailed Fox, a respectful high level diety, even XL had to be careful. Shiqi was not that weak. (As I mentioned previously, I liked episodes 1-7 the most, up until here, the drama is like in the book.) Once the Nine Tailed Fox, Ye Shiqi became Tushan Jing, somehow he became dull. He became less than Ye Shiqi. In the book, the real Jing was not dull. Jing rides his personal flying crane. Jing rides winged horses too. Jing can vault from the ground onto his ride, vice versa. Jing and XY, both ride Jing's crane too. Jing brought XY to travel to Haoling, together cruising on a ship. Jing shows XY beautiful scenic vistas, takes her to fun places, eat delicious food, etc. Camping outdoor on top of the mountain, laying on the spider wed under the stars. (I can only imagine... The romance scenes could have been off the charts ! 😍) Added scenes where XL saying "Tushan Jing!" and "if I had known..." , those were not in the book. Those lines implicates as if XL "gave" Jing to XY. 😅 Well, they had to do that to Tushan Jing. 🤦 Despite that, like Rihanna's song, "Shine like a diamond ...", that's Deng Wei . 💎

Why only when it regards Jing. Like you said, that is how “C-Entertainment Business People Works”. It is the Novelist, Ms Tong Hua. She was also the Scriptwriter for "Lost You Forever The Drama". She Does Not like Tu Shan Jing. Her Favorite is Xiang Liu. That is why I Lost Respect For Her - "Forever". She Does Not Respect the Actor, the Market, the Audience. Even her Own Original Novel. The changes in "Lost You Forever Season 2" was made by her. Especially the "Sudden Death & Appearance" of Tu Shan Jing. Saving Xiao Liu: XL's part was very Detailed - Yes. But IMO not well-done. Especially when transferring The Blood From His Heart. That was very Unprofessional. I felt as though A Mother Was Feeding Her Baby. Very Amateurish. 2 hours ago, zara111 said: The 1st time Ye Shiqi and XL meet at Chenrong. I love Shiqi’s stare at XL. Shiqi is a respectful high level diety, even XL had to be careful. In fact, I would call it "OBSESSED WITH XIANG LIU". @hush puppy Yes, you are right. I did some digging. When the book was published, YaoLiu team 80%-YaoJing team 20%. The airing of S1 , the split became YaoLiu team 60%-YaoJing team 40%. (Please remember that this is without Tushan Jing's special characteristics). After S2, it changed back to the novel ratio. It's not a surprise as the end of S1 is the worst arc for Jing. In S2, Jing's highlights were modified and shifted to CX and XL. On top of that, added scenes showing XL's inner thoughts, eliminates reading between the lines of his feelings towards XY, really helps hammer home his character. So, it is natural that the slant in favor of YaoLiu. Even so, with S2's modified version, I strongly believe that if Jing is not Deng Wei, it could have been 95% YaoLiu, 5% YaoJing. So, 80%-20%, it is already amazing ! By the way, I am finally free to watch Till The End of The Moon. Another step to Deng Wei's drama land. 😉 Note : I obtained the ratio from fandom FB, etc.
hush puppy
(Posted on: Saturday, 10 August 2024) Deng Wei : His Performance In "Lost You Forever" No Actor can give a Perfect Performance. But Deng Wei is an Actor, who gives his All to every role he played. And he keeps improving. He is not from an Acting Major. So, all the more commendable. In "Lost You Forever", he was in a "Pressure-Cooker" : - He is the Most Inexperienced Actor - His company is the smallest - He is not from an Acting School - And every one in the Production Team was bullying him Yet he can perform so Confidently. Especially when this is the first time he is acting alongside an A-List Actress. Only someone with a Strong Mentality and Character can exit from such an Experience - "Smiling". I hope he does not keep it all inside. That he has someone trustworthy and sensible to confide in. No matter how strong a Person, we will always need to talk to someone. To release the tensions. He is a Very Creative Person. He must have found all the Scripts he received so far, "Restrictive". All the same old plots, costume dramas, falling in love type of plots. I would love to see him in : - A Comedy. I think he will be very funny in a Sit-Com. - A Thriller. His "Eyes-Skills" will fare well in a Thriller. How about you? What would you like to see him in? Footnote: 1) Xuan : I was not impressed with his performance. Especially his lines-delivery. Sounds "robotic" to me 2) Xiang Liu : He was a "Hot-Tempered Monster". That's all. Nothing special about him. But of course the Novelist/Scriptwriter expanded his scope for him. Both of them had An Advantage because of their livelier Character-Roles. Easier to act out actually. Deng Wei's Tu Shan Jing is the Most Demanding Character-Role to play. Because Tu Shan Jing is such a Calm, Gentle but Strategic Soul, it requires a lot of Skills, to make him comes "Alive" and appears "Meaningful" and "Interesting". Deng Wei manages to do that. Which is why he wins over so many people, including me.

hush puppy
(Posted on: Sunday, 11 August 2024) Deng Wei : "Love Of The Divine Tree" According to the "Latest Data" on the Chinese Valentine Day, Deng Wei's "Love Of The Divine Tree" ranks Fourth among all the dramas to be broadcast. It seems that everyone has very High Expectation for Deng Wei. In my opinions, Chinese Stories and therefore Chinese Dramas, cannot be too Short. A good example is "Lost You Forever - Season 2". As well as a lot of the other C-Dramas. Once they tried to condense their stories, because of the Statutory Requirements, their dramas failed. Every country should adopt policies, best suited to themselves. They should not blindly "Ape" other countries. And they should continue to broadcast their dramas everyday. Or Monday - Fridays. 2 episodes daily. There is no need to "Ape" other countries by having : - a few seasons - 2 broadcasts per week. - 1 episode per broadcast. That is 2 episodes per week (That is "so frustrating") China should maintain their own style. 1

I avoided argument, because it was pointless, no solution. I could feel many eyes looking down at me, as if I have surrendered. Sigh... Nobody was on my side, I had only myself. Using my brains, I presented out-of-the-box evidence, thus proved my skills. I won, and it felt good. But, I never want to go through that again, the headaches, facing people, sleepless nights, etc… At one point, I almost lost hope … Scary ~ Deng Wei might have felt the same. He kept silence. But, actually he was fighting in his own way. I recall his top saying "Stop the fickxxing war !". He is very strong indeed. With his talent and skills, he won many hearts in such a short time. Diamonds, endorsement, magazines, etc .... Bravo !!! 🎉 I don’t have parents, so I know very well what alone means. (I grew up with scholarships from 1 bank and 2 governments …hehehe…) I am so glad that he has loving parents whom support him unconditionally. Even so, I hope he never have to go through such pressure again. Also, like you said, I hope he has someone close and trustworthy, who sincerely listen to his worries. Deng Wei, Stay you and Take care always. 🥰 Deng Wei’s endorsement. Perhaps, one from Huawei in the future. I aim to decorate my room with a life size Deng Wei’s Huawei promotional standee. I hope Deng Wei's Huawei Series will be my latest project which I named “Tushan Jing”. I don’t have any say in marketing, but when I am done, I will mention why the name “Tushan Jing”. Who knows, marketing people might get curious, and they approach Deng Wei, and he accepts. If 1 day, it comes true, (I doubt I will ever meet Deng Wei, as designers like myself, we are only back stage people.), it will make me very happy, as if I am a tiny part of Deng Wei’s world. Happy diamond dream to me. 💎 I just named my new stallion, Tushan Jing. Here, usually, a horse is given an English name. I guess none of my equestrian members watch LYF, so they were curious “What? Tushan Jing?” Well, the rest is history. Yup! I influenced them to watch LYF. Let's see if they too become Deng Wei's fan. 💎 Tushan Jing aka Deng Wei’s excellent acting, created a soft spot in my heart. As if, I could feel the sincerity in his acting, it's refreshing. Tushan Jing is an epitome of green forest, whom I could go to and relax from harsh worldly reality. I am looking forward to Deng Wei’s upcoming characters. Be rooting you from afar. Fly high Deng Wei !!! Note : XL reminds me of Jonathan Harker, the Count Dracula in American drama 2013, Dracula. The character is portrayed by Jonathan Rhys Meyers. Perhaps, similar masochistic-ish character, hence not so much impact on me. Anyway, Tan Jianci displays “pain”, after he lost 2 lives to kill the bug, is impressive. CX reminds me of King Alfred, portrayed by David Dawson in British drama, The Last Kingdom 2015-2018. I have seen similar King-ish characters, thus not new to me. hush puppy
(Posted on: Monday, 12 August 2024) Deng Wei : Continues To Be Criticised By Anti's Let me share what this 💎 has unveiled: "I came across this person a couple of days ago. At first I thought it was someone who didn't understand Tushan Jing and made a random interpretation. Later I found out that she wrote Xiangliu and was a fan of Tan Jian Ci. She is a fan of that. actor. But she pretended to be neutral to discredit Deng Wei and drag down Tu Shan Jing. Many of Jing's fans in the comment section also went to confront her . It was already early in the morning when I finished work that day. It was too late. But I finally had time to confront her last night. I said that her idea was consistent with Tushan Hou. After all, in the original work, only Tushan Hou felt that Tu Shan Jing was not good enough and not as good as him. She said that I was really tactful in my criticism. I must say that if you didn't drag down Tu Shan Jing, I wouldn't even give her a look." My Say: For those who did not know. Tan Jian Ci had recently (about 2 weeks ago) "sued" a few of Deng Wei's fans. I did not post it here. Because in my opinions, it is Not Worth our attention. Of TJC's legal moves, I must say : - that His Fans did the same thing to Deng Wei too. Even worse. At the time when TJC issued the Legal Letter, his own Fans quickly started to Delete their Black Posts on Deng Wei. And now they are back to their old tricks. - other people's fans discredit him too. E.g. Yang Zi. But he only "Sued" Deng Wei's fans. Why? Deng Wei has never "Sued" anyone - yet. Much less TJC's fans. But I cannot guarantee that he will not do so in future. And if he does, I believe he must have a Good Reason to do so. SPECIAL FOOTNOTE: I would like to DRAW ALL YOUR ATTENTION to some people, who Pretended To Be Deng Wei's Fans. They will write some "Flattery & Sympathetic Words" on Deng Wei. But towards the end of their Post, they will "MARKET" their IT Tools. CapCut Mod APK for one. This has happened a few times in this Thread. Such "Hypocrites" are Just As Bad as the "Blackies". Plain UNprofessional. Sick.

Sick. @hush puppy In Wang Yi ongoing drama, "Are you the one" review section, there's a comment "Damn I'm loving dis, hilarious but natural, actually I find the ML is more handsome and interesting than Deng Wei even in the LYF drama" . The person should have enjoyed watching Wang Yi 100%, but NO, she just had to think about Deng Wei. What a waste of energy... She just couldn't get Deng Wei out of her mind. Perhaps, she is another Tushan Hou. LOL Mmm... I would like to read more about the lawsuit. Well, it is about Deng Wei, right? I tried to search but only found the Business Class shuttle bus. I thought - "Well maybe it will gain momentum as it goes on". Ep 2 is just as Slow & Boring. The Story is very "Predictable". The FL lost her Memory. The ML saved and took care of her. So eventually they'll fall-in-love for real. Very Predictable. You are Right. The fact that, that Viewer mentioned "Deng Wei" means Subconsciously she likes Deng Wei. Either that, or she is Zhang Wan Yi's Fan. And hates Deng Wei enormously. (No Prejudice. But I do not enjoy watching ZWY's performance. He is the same in every drama. There is no Change or Variety in his acting). As for Tan Jian Ci's Legal Letter. I Did Not Even Bother to read. So I do not know what it says. Through out his career, many fans of other stars (actresses and actors) had criticised him. He never do anything. But he chose to Sue Deng Wei's Fans. It is Very Clear what kind of person he is. A Double-Standard Person. After the broadcast of "Lost You Forever", TJC's fans are very Active in satirising and mocking Deng Wei in Weibo. Same. Just as how most viewers "Obsessed" over Xiang Liu. And criticised everything about Tu Shan Jing. Where do you watch your C-Dramas?

It's an international disease...they are all probably bitten by that bug... BTW, surprisingly, CX seems to get zero to none hate...or maybe it's just I haven't bumped into it online?... 9 hours ago, hush puppy said: I saw 2 eps of that drama. I find Ep 1 Slow & Boring. And the leads are...emmm...just not "my type", hehe :-).
hush puppy
@leo2020 Hi. Where were you lately? 9 hours ago, leo2020 said: BTW, surprisingly, CX seems to get zero to none hate...or maybe it's just I haven't bumped into it online?... @leo2020 ZWY's CX? (Lost You Forever) Oh yes. There are both praises & criticisms about his character CX. But less. As an actor, ZWY is also less popular. He started in serious dramas where not many young people watch. And therefore did not gain much attention. That is why he now switch to "Idol Dramas" - For Popularity. Iqiyi favored him because he is from an Acting School, with less gossips compared to our Deng Wei. Actually Deng Wei is clean. It is just that those "Photos" of his did not sit well with the businessmen & a lot of Conservative audience. And of course the rantings from Yu Zheng, the cigarette-bugs incident, airport/ small card big shots behavior, etc.... People tend to "Step-On" you, once there are some "Gossips". It Does Not Matter whether it is True or Not. Deng Wei is a bit Unlucky. A lot of people (especially Fans of his Competitors) are obstructing his progress. 9 hours ago, leo2020 said: Thanks for the info. Honestly I just don't find the story intriguing enough even to try it. And the leads are...emmm...just not "my type", hehe :-). @leo2020 You are welcomed. It was supposed to be a Comedy. But I did not find it Funny at all: - the Rapport btn the FL and ML is missing. - the makeup of both leads are quite heavy - the Supporting Actors & Actresses are better. They put in a lot of experienced actors for the supporting roles. Still... it did not work. Spoiler Lately most of the Dramas Did Not Create Waves. The Problem Is With The Performance Of the Main Leads : 1) "Fox Fairy's Matchmaker - Red Moon" - Gong Jun & Yang Mi 2) "Love Rebellion" - Zhang Ling He & Jing Tian 3) "A Lonely Hero's Journey" - Joseph Zeng 4) "Are You The One?" - Zhang Wan Yi & Wang Chu Ran When you put in Experienced & Veteran Senior Actors, the Weakness of the Young Male Lead becomes even More Evident. When I was watching "A Lonely Hero's Journey", my Mind drifted to Deng Wei each time the ML came on. I was thinking.... If it was Deng Wei, the Result of this story would have been Different. Deng Wei's Performance is more "Intense". Without being prejudiced, the performance of the current Hero is very Flat. I do not know if he will get better in the later episodes. BTW, the Poses of Joseph Zeng's latest Magazine Spreads were all "Similar" to Deng Wei's from July 2024. The Photographer is Different. Yet the Photo-Shoots were a Complete Copy-Cat ??? Spoiler Just enjoying my vacation (well, what's left of it, hehe). 10 hours ago, hush puppy said: incident You know, for me personally the scale of everything mentioned is just not qualified to call it "incident", hehe. Just today I read that a member of a popular Korean group was caught DUI (while driving a scooter, or smth like that). That is what should/may be called an "incident". Not some cigarette bug on the floor. I do not support littering, don't get me wrong, just if we compare it with DUI...it's IMO pretty obvious what IS a real "insident". 10 hours ago, hush puppy said: the Supporting Actors & Actresses are better Yes, for example they have Yuan Yu Xuan). I enjoyed her acting since Legend of Fuyao and The Flame's Daughter days. But I'll still pass on that one. Spoiler I wish they invited someone like Luo Qiu Yun for FL role. She is visually of the same "type" and, unlike current FL, looks really "natural" in ancient clothes.
