Deng Wei :   His Medical Treatment Incident

 

Deng Wei's night trip to the hospital for medical treatment, was like a stone thrown into a calm lake.  Causing ripples and attracting widespread attention, from both the Fans and Public.

 

According to reliable sources, Deng Wei's medical treatment was not for an emergency.  But for a routine check-up and maintenance of his health.  He took the initiative to go to the hospital for a physical examination to ensure that he could devote himself in the next work and life in the best condition.

 

This is not only being responsible for himself, but also to respect fans and audiences alike.  This medical treatment is another manifestation of his practice of health concepts.

- He is more plump when in college.  

- Now he is "slimmer".  Hair-style & grooming is different now.

@leo2020    Yes.  But we should thank the "Casting Director" for recommending Deng Wei to Tencent.   By themselves, Tencent would not have thought of Deng Wei.  Much less to choose him.

Personally I think it's practically impossible to make a "believable" girl out of him . Whatever he wears. 

IMO you need a man with a baby face ( Gong Jun was really convincing) or with a thinner and smaller facial features ( that's why someone like TJC or Lee Hong Yi will look very convincing as well). 

Also we do not know how the impact may be given the authorities are unpredictable when it comes to some sensitive topics. I wish his agency steps in at some point if needed.

The photographer gave Deng Wei a very high evaluation.  This is a very real and objective evaluation of Deng Wei by a friend during his amateur period.  He said:

 

"Deng Wei looks cool.  But he is very Gentle and Considerate.  He is a person who is very worthy of being liked by others." 

 

The gears of Fate have been turning since then.  

 

He is really a very good person.  Very gentle and respectful.  No airs.  Makes people feel very comfortable and relax - be it "ordinary people" or "stars".  Will make people fall-in-love with him repeatedly.

Deng Wei :   Will Our Man Gets Busy Soon?

 

1)  Magazine Spreads :

Time flies.  It will soon be time for the Two Most Important Magazines of the Year:

- The Golden Nine (September), and

- Silver Ten (October)

 

I hope we can hear good news from Deng Wei soon.

 

 

2) Getting good scripts is a chore :   

I heard that Deng Wei receives a lot of scripts.  While most of the Costume Scripts that he receives, have  more of less the same theme.  The Contemporary Scripts are even worse - very weak and silly story-lines.

 

There is not much Deng Wei can do about it.  Unless he turns "Script-Writer".  .    So he has to reluctantly accept the "better ones".

 

But it is also good for him to get some rest and fresh air.  Being cooped-up at Hengdian is no fun.  No intelligent people to talk to.  Nothing to learn.  Except to concentrate on your work, no matter how dire the conditions are.  Which is why some people turn "crazy".

 

But then again, I hope we can hear good news from him soon.

IMO it's time he takes one. I would certainly prefer a contemporary story. It takes less time for post-production. But it should be a lead role. 

So, contemporary or costume, I see 2 possibilities. Try to choose the most ML-oriented one. To shine himself. But it's a really hard way to go.

Or choose the one with popular actress for a FL. Give up first billing place for a popularity boost. We can see he did good with YZ. No problem cooperating with a "first-billing" star (not everyone can do that). Even when her character was obviously a center of the story.

@leo2020  I am totally with you here.  I am sure we will be hearing from him soon.  He definitely needs a better actress to act alongside him.  Even experienced artistes need good co-stars in order to maintain their levels of performance.

 

It is the same in all fields : Sports, Dancing, Conversations.....   If you do not have an up-to-the-level partner, you will lose your own Sense of Coordinations through an Absence of Rapport.

He has always been very restrained in not letting Internet vocabulary pollute his expressions in formal occasions.  In interviews or the content he publishes himself :

-  his language is precise.

-  his words are elegant and refined.

-  his punctuation is correct.

 

It can be seen that he did not want to be "witty".  Or allow meaningless Internet vocabulary to pollute his language system, in order to appear to be "informed about trends".

 

This is also a kind of persistence in "Aesthetics".

 

Many celebrities want to show off their online sense too much.  And frequently use Internet vocabulary that may not be appropriate in interviews and programs.  Making them appear to be empty-headed and greasy.

I can know it or not.  But I won't go with the flow just to appear to fit in. People who have higher requirements for language and writing, should understand this feeling.

Deng Wei's 'Tu Shan Jing'  is like this.   He makes people feel heartbroken for him.  And without realising it, cry for him.  It is a truly heart-touching performance."

 

 

Deng Wei Has A Warm Relationship With His Parents

 

Blackies always say he has "Capital" backing him from behind.

 

Now Deng Wei revealed in an interview of the "strong support" from his parents.

 

Because of his parents' support, Deng Wei says he feels confident and is not afraid of failure.  Whether "spiritually" or "materially".  He is a person who is not afraid of losing.

 

1)  If he has done something wrong, he will apologise.  If not, he will not argue.  Or becomes hysterical. 

 

2)  He and his parents love each other very much.  He grows up in a a warm and loving family.  Because of work, he is unable to be with his parents.  So he always advise 💎's to go home and spend more time with their families.

 

3)  With a yearning for freedom, he bravely sets out on his journey of discovery when young.  After being independent for so long, he is used to making his own decisions.  And to be responsible for the consequences.

 

Bearing a "Newborn calves are not afraid of tigers" attitude, he bravely step into a world he is unfamiliar with.  (He meant "Acting").

 

4)  He likes to wander around the streets and eat at road-side stalls.  When he was at Hengdian, he cannot do that.  Because there are too many people watching him.  He does not want to create inconveniences for the public.  But once out of Hengdian, wearing a face-mask and cap, he will do that.  Nobody will pay him any attention. He loves to ride around with his bicycles.  He says that is the real him.

 

5)  He loves and misses his parents very much.  And wanted to go home more often to keep them company. He is very grateful to them for giving him their unconditional support.

 

His parents know that since he has chosen this occupation, he will definitely tolerate the occupational hazards patiently and bravely. But he does not want his parents to see his difficulties and problems. Because he cannot bear to see the looks in their eyes.  Their worries and their pain for him.
