What do you all think of Deng Wei's Voice in "Love Of The Divine Tree" ?

After the trailer was released, Deng Wei's original voice performance was criticized by netizens. He was considered to have a sticky and an overly nasal voice.

In my opinions, you have to listen for a while before the Beauty of Deng Wei's Voice gets to you. When I first notice him, I do not like his Voice too. But after some time, I grow to like it.

I Say: "You cannot please everyone. So just be yourself. And keep on improving your Lines-Delivery and Performance.

When he was dubbed, the anti's said that he was not good enough. Now he is using his own voice. The "Blackies" are still dissatisfied."

Deng Wei : Next Project

Have no worry. Deng Wei his not resting on his laurels.

He has been in contact with many projects. But due to several factors, he has been unable to sign them up. "Ranking factor" is one of them. He needs to have one more Big Explosion before he can be in a better position to negotiate. He is very cautious in his choice of scripts, striving to find the role that best suits him.

Deng Wei's company does not have enough capital. In fact, many scripts have been sold to other companies. If his resources were better, he would shine even more.

He is trying his best to get a Modern Script, to meet the requests of his Fans. (He loves his Fans so much). But it looks tough. His next project may well be a Costume Drama as well. But never say never. Who knows? Heaven may shine on him.

Well, he is not a "sweet baby face", a "forever baby face", a "fragile slim girlish boy", etc. As I said before, IMO he is not a "typical" Cdramaland kind of guy, who is automatically loved by everyone.

@leo2020 Agree with you. Deng Wei is certainly Not a Typical C-Actor.

1) He is already 25 years old when he entered the Chinese Entertainment World. His Views & Basic Character is already deep-rooted. He has his own View-Points and Ways of Doing Things. He may compromise where necessary. But basically "He Is His Own Man".

2) Even the way he walks is Unique. So "Boyish" and "Unaffected". He does Not strut the way most actors do. He walks the way he is. "Blackies" (anti's) criticise and satirise it. But I :heart: it ! I hope he continues to Be Himself.

3) He comes from a Dancing & Live Performance Background. Where their "Make-Ups" are more Pronounced - almost like the "Chinese Opera Stars". His experience with his injuries shapes his Character. He is a Model before becoming an Actor. So he is Trendy and Independent.

4) The photos taken by his Ex and the negative stories surrounding them scare away a lot of would-be Fans. People are basically "Conservative" and "Unforgiving".

I hope in time to come, people will understand him better. "External Camouflages" are nothing compared to" Internal Attributes".

- Too much CGI

- Yang Mi is an average actress. Nothing outstanding to look for. Her Age is showing. After all, she is already 37 yrs old. Time for her to move on to Serious Themes.

Deng Wei : His Next Project

There were a lot of rumours regarding his next project. From the time he was still filming "Love Of The Divine Tree", till now.

In total there should be more than two dozens of them by now.

All of them are "False" :

a) Specially marketed by his "Blackies" or "Anti's". To put Deng Wei in a Bad Light.

b) All kinds of big productions like to use Deng Wei to promote their films. In the end, Deng Wei was accused of approaching them but things did not work out.

Deng Wei has not been in the crew for 97 days. Some fans think that the interval is too long.

In fact, this is because Deng Wei is very cautious about himself now. Also, he is actually trying to get a Modern Drama. Once there is a problem or the ratings are problematic, it may affect his career.

It is fine to be cautious now. A good script and role are worth dozens of ordinary scripts. Moreover, Deng Wei is not the kind of person who particularly values money and reputation.

Deng Wei knows what he is doing. Rather than rushing from one project to another, it is better to be selective.

He should be in his final stage of negotiations now. So, let us just wait a little while longer. :blush:

I wish Deng Wei could be in a drama where he works with a "Child Actress". It is bound to bring him success !

Look at Zhu Yi Long with his "Lighting Up The Stars". Or Li Xian in "Shooting Stars (2024)". Both are successful. Especially if the Child Actress is a good actress - and "cute".

It IMO depends on the plot. And if the "child actress" is not "annoying" in her cuteness.

Hehe, it looks weard . Honestly I do not care that much of this "small face" thing. However it's my understanding it is a big thing in Asian culture if we talk about beauty standards. Just I never think about stars in this way).
