Deng Wei:  "A Tree In Xian Tai" - The Plot

 

In "A Tree In Xian Tai", Deng Wei played as  Su Yi Shui's father - Su Cheng as well.  To save production costs I supposed.

To create a difference, a little mustache was added.  Which not only did not affect Deng Wei's handsomeness, but also added a bit of mature charm to him.

 

 

 

 

In this look, the hair is all tied up, the hat is worn, and the clothes are slim-fitting.  Giving people a very clean and neat look. He holds a sword in his hand.  So it looks like there will be some cool fighting scenes, which will be worth looking forward to.

 

In the novel, Su Yi Shui's father Su Cheng, is a prince. But Mu Qingge supported the second male lead to succeed the Throne.  Because Su Yi Shui is the son of a concubine, he has had a difficult life in the palace, since he was a child.

20 years later, Mu Qingge was reincarnated as Xue Ran Ran.

 

Now that the seal of the Monster Spring was loosened again, the demon cultivator Duntian wanted to use it to recreate the Demon.

 

Su Yi Shui remembered his Master's entrustment and spared no efforts to stop them.  The Monster Spring was returned to the secluded realm.  But Su Yi Shui lost his memory in the process.

 

But even without his memory, Su Yi Shui fell-in-love with Ran Ran again.  The two of them joined hands.  And after much hardships, finally broke Duntian's conspiracy to protect the common people and return the world to clarity.

 

{Su Yi Shui, played by Deng Wei, has a very arrogant and awkward personality initially.  He likes to be jealous.  And is also duplicitous. Not likable.  And therefore a difficult character-role to play. 

 

He is very good-looking and has fascinated thousands of boys and girls. It's very different from the previous roles he played.  It is a brand new interpretation.

 

Which is why nobody wants to play this role.  I hope Deng Wei can give a Different Dimension to Su Yi Shui and brings it to "Life" again}

On 17 October, when Deng Wei was setting out for Luzhen Grand Theatre from Shaoxing Hotel, the hotel where he is staying.  For the Season One "Lost You Forever" Celebrations.

 

His Manager-cum-Agent (Ms Huang Hui) and Bodyguard were busy following a Staff who was wearing a cap and walking in front.  To a wrong car.   

 

While Deng Wei and his Assistant were already waiting, to enter the Right Car.

 

What nonsense is this ?   You as a Manager and Bodyguard should be guiding your charge ?  How to do your job correctly then?  How to take care of him?

 

Previously at the Airport in October 2022, Huang Hui was too Arrogant to the Proxy-Shooters.  Thus igniting Negative Publicity for Deng Wei.

Deng Wei:    The Chen Mu Chi's Case

 

Actually this case has nothing to do with  Deng Wei and the other actors.

 

It is purely Chen Mu Chi's personal problems.  He married and divorced early, and kept it a secret.  While married, he had a live-in BF.  His BF did not know that he was married.  He deceived both his ex-wife and ex-BF.  And now he is dating a wealthy but older, female Singer.  Rumours had it that his ex-wife is a member of the production crew of his Breakout movie - Feng Shen ("Creation Of The Gods: Kingdom Of Storms").  That he was using her to secure a role in "Feng Shen".

 

Somebody leaked the news of his early marriage and divorce to the media.  Chen Mu Chi asked his Ex-BF Wu Chu Yi to help  him publish an article to clarify the same-sex scandal.  Wu Chu Yi complied. After that Wu Chu Yi fell into public opinion, became a "hot-search" and was attacked with words like:  "self-directed and self-acted".  

 

WCY began to receive online harassments and all his personal information were exposed online.  He contacted CMC to help diffuse the problem.  But CMC refused to communicate with him. He asked his lawyer to deal with him instead.  This angered WCY.  Faced with doubts from netizens, WCY could only start to show evidence to prove himself.   Both ended up making police reports.

 

To save himself, CMC used his Ex-BF to clarify for him and then ignore him.  To save himself, he divulge information about a certain "Boys' Only" Apps to implicate other actors.

 

This is a harmless Live Selling Platform  for some products.  Many celebrities have invested in it.  Especially Huang Xiao Ming.  Netizens get the benefits of door-to-door delivery by the Anchor.  CMC went there to make money because he was unknown and struggling at that time.  And his ex-BF was supporting him financially.

 

At the beginning, many artistes in the industry went to help promote the live broadcast.  They include Li Chen, Luo Yun Xi, Zeng Shun Xi, Huang Jing Yu, Zheng Kai, Chen He, Hu Bing, Zheng Yun Long, Tong Zhuo.  They would post details about their daily life work routines at times.

 

Deng Wei was one of them.  At that time, Deng Wei was an Internet Celebrity.  An immature young amateur.  Not yet an actor.  He posted the usual trendy photos of him with long hair that we have all seen before.  There was nothing improper.

 

Chen Mu Chi was the only one who lifted his T-Shirt to show his abs.

 

Eventually this platform was shut down because some people like CMC abused the platform with unethical poses and purpose.

 

Back then, Deng Wei was just a free-spirited  boy who likes to have some fun.  Still in college with no responsibility.  And having a girlfriend who enjoys, indulges and encourages such weird behaviors: long hair, pink handcuffs, tattoos...  He did it to please her.

 

Deng Wei was with his girlfriend  between  2016 till 2019.  He was faithful to her.  There was no cheating.  The relationship was a normal and legal one.  At least it verifies his Sexual Orientation.

 

But I am of the opinion that his girlfriend is not a good influence.  Deng Wei is a better person after their breakup.  He starts to sober up and concentrate on his studies, career and future.  Unfortunately he injured his Waist and Knees had to go overseas for treatment.

 

His teachers and classmates at the Dance Academy likes him very much. He is very friendly and popular.  One of his best buddies at college was the ex-girlfriend of Zhang Wan Yi.  

 

In a way, it is good that all these came out.  At least we know all what we need to know about Deng Wei.  There will be no future "Skeletons In The Cupboard".   Unlike a lot of  other actors .  

 

But it will affect Deng Wei to some extent.  He will always be at a disadvantage because these "lingering shadows" will always cast a doubt in people's minds about him.  While his detractors will make use of them to bring him down.

 

Let us see how this case develops.  He has worked so hard.  He has come this far.  He is now on the Verge of Establishing his foundation as A Strong Actor.  As always, I wish Deng Wei all the best. 

 

CMC should be alright.  Because good or bad, he has influential people backing him up.  The business-men from the production sides of "Feng Shen" will not allow their investments to fail.

Deng Wei:   "Lost You Forever" 

-   In The Eyes Of Performance Director Cui Tan

 

Performance Director Cui Tan praises  "Deng Wei's"  performance in  "Lost You Forever".   He said that when Production Starts, among the Male Leads, he has the Highest Expectation from Deng Wei because he is a New Actor.

 

Director Cui Tan also highlights his opinions that the current Chinese Entertainment industry lacks new actors like  Deng Wei.

 

Everyone who has worked with  Deng Wei  before have been praising him.  We have heard from Director Wang previously.  And now from Performance Director Cui Tan.  Same goes for the supporting casts and Yang Zi of  "Lost You Forever".

 

For me, Yang Zi's compliments of Deng Wei is very important.  Why?  Because she is the Female Lead and she is an experienced actress.  I am sure she has her own Expectations and Reservations of Deng Wei when they started to film  "Lost You Forever".  More so when  Deng Wei  :

- Is a New Actor

- Is not a Professional Actor.  I mean, he is not from an Acting Academy. 

- Came with a lot of Black News.

 

So the fact that they can co-act  and get along so well, speaks Volumes of Deng Wei's "IQ - Intelligence Quotient" and "EQ -Emotional Quotient".  And his Acting Ability too.

 

But I do not expect much from his fellow male co-stars.  Because of "Competition".  So even if they praise Deng Wei, I will take it with "a pinch of salt".

 

But "Labels" are hard to remove.  Especially the Negative Labels.  Those who dislike him, look down on him, or are jealous of his success, will capitalise on these "Labels".

 

I have always said before.  We cannot judge A Book From It's Cover.  

 

Those who criticise  Deng Wei are :

-  Those who like to stereotype others.  He has tatoos and like to pose like a female.  And therefore he is not a good boy.

-  People who are evil by nature.  Yu Zheng is a good example.  He is a shady character himself.  Not an ethical businessman.  Why?  He cannot even treat his own artistes fairly and well.  Take Song Wei Long for an example.  Just because he wanted to terminate his contract, YZ "freeze" his work and prevent him from using the name his parents had given him through legal means, without his knowledge.
