Eun Soo Hyun (Kim Nam-joo) is  a so-called 'prominent psychology professor' with her brilliant study skills, exceptional motor skills and musical instrument playing skills, and positive thoughts. She is flawlessly perfect, but after losing her son in an accident, she struggles to punish the perpetrator.

 

 Kwon Seon Yul ((Cha Eun Woo) is a mysterious young man who, after losing everything one day, chooses to live a rough life. Kwon Seon Yul gets entangled with Eun Soo Hyun, who experiences a similar kind of pain as him.

Actress Kim Nam-joo was offered a new drama 'Wonderful World' (tentative title). An official from the agency The Queens AMC told Xports News on the 9th, "Kim Nam-joo received an offer for 'Wonderful World' (tentative title) and is reviewing it." Kim Kang Woo is in discussion to join the upcoming K-drama Wonderful World.

On April 28, media outlets reported that Kim Kang Woo will be joining Kim Nam Joo in the heart-wrenching K-drama Wonderful World.

Kim Kang Woo's agency IOK Company responded to the reports and stated that Wonderful World is one of the projects that was offered to him and he is still reviewing the series.  

Wonderful World will tell the story of a heroine who lost her young son and will take her revenge against the perpetrator who has been forgiven by the law. 

Kim Kang Woo got the offer to play the role of Kim Nam Joo's character's husband. He was a former reporter from a major broadcasting station but now he works as an anchor for a cable broadcasting station that has little viewership. 

There are still no official decisions on the broadcast station and release date of the upcoming K-drama Wonderful World.

 

This will be the second upcoming K-drama of Kim Kang Woo. The actor is also set to star in the upcoming series Snowy Sun which is set in the late 1800s and early 1900s.

Aside from K-dramas, Kim Kang Woo will also join the upcoming movies Tyrant and The Childe. 

Kim Kang Woo last starred in the 2021 K-drama Artificial City together with Park Soo Ae, Kim Mi Sook, Lee Yi Dam, Lee Hak Joo, and Kim Young Jae.

On May 26, StarNews reported that Cha Eun Woo had been cast as the male lead in the upcoming drama “Wonderful World” (literal title). Later that morning, Fantagio clarified, “He is currently in talks for the drama with a favorable outlook, but nothing has been decided.”

“Wonderful World” is a suspenseful revenge drama about a woman who tragically loses her young son. When the law forgives the culprit, she decides to seek vengeance on her own.

ASTRO's Cha Eun Woo will reportedly join Kim Nam Joo and Kim Kang Woo in the upcoming K-drama Wonderful World. 

On May 26, several media outlets reported that Cha Eun Woo picked another K-drama he will star on. According to reports, Cha Eun Woo will be joining the cast of the upcoming revenge K-drama Wonderful World. 

Cha Eun Woo's side then responded to the casting reports. Fantagio shared, "Cha Eun Woo did receive the offer to star in Wonderful World. He is positively considering it but nothing is officially confirmed yet."

If Cha Eun Woo confirms his casting, this will be his second upcoming K-drama project. The idol actor is also set to lead the upcoming series A Good Day to be a Dog with Park Gyu Young, Lee Hyun Woo, Yoon Hyun Soo, Lee Seo El, and Song Young Ah. 

Early this year, Cha Eun Woo also starred as an exorcist priest in the TVING original K-drama Island Part 2. He worked alongside Kim Nam Gil, Lee Da Hee, Sung Joon, Go Doo Shim, and Oh Gwang Rok.

I did not watch Cha Eun woo in anything so I can`t comment on this casting but I can`t believe that Kim Kang woo plays the second male lead in this story.

 

I wanted to watch Kim Nam Joo in another drama after Misty and I wanted to be true the rumor about the drama with Jang Hyuk and Park Hoon.  I will keep an eye on this drama but I don`t like the revenge genre. I am a little optimistic that there is a healing story too.

I was trying to be diplomatic in my first comment, but who am I kidding, I'm absolutely SEETHING in annoyance from this casting confirmation..... I have to watch the drama because Kim Nam Joo, obviously, but I'll ignore the idol when they appear... because whew!!! Talk about not being able to rise to the occasion!!

I tried to watch Lie after Lie because I liked the cast but I could not resist more than two episodes. I don`t like the makjang style of this writer. I can watch a melodrama done well but if the writer will give us a similar story, I won`t watch.

 

Kim Kang Woo seems to have a complex character. I like that.

On the 2nd, the IOK Company announced that Kim Kang-woo had confirmed his appearance in the drama “Wonderful World (tentative title)” scheduled to air in the first half of next year.

‘Wonderful World (tentative title)’ (Director Lee Seung-young/Screenplay Kim Ji-eun/Producer Samhwa Networks) is an emotional healing thriller in which Eun Soo-hyeon (Kim Nam-joo), who lost her young son unjustly, directly punishes the perpetrator who escaped the law.

Kim Kang-woo plays the role of Kang Su-ho in the play. Kang Su-ho's character is a person who loves his wife, Eun Soo-hyeon (Kim Nam-joo), but falls into a swamp of incidents due to a wrong choice in a shaky situation after the unjust death of her son.

Kim Kang-woo's appearance in 'Wonderful World' is a return to the home screen after two years since 'The Duke's City', which ended early last year, and is expected to be an opportunity to once again showcase the charm of various characters along with acting as a villain in the soon-to-be-released movie 'The Scion'.

Im Se Mi Confirmed To Join “True Beauty” Co-Star Cha Eun Woo And Kim Nam Joo In New Revenge Drama

Im Se Mi is officially joining ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo and Kim Nam Joo in the upcoming drama “Wonderful World” (literal title)!

“Wonderful World” is an emotional thriller about Eun Soo Hyun, a woman who seeks revenge after the tragic loss of her son. When the culprit manages to evade punishment through the legal system, she decides to pursue justice on her own.

Earlier in May, Kim Nam Joo was confirmed to play the role of the female lead Eun Soo Hyun, a successful and famous psychology professor and writer who falls into hopeless despair after losing her young son. A few days later, Cha Eun Woo was also confirmed to star as Kwon Sun Yool, a dropout medical student who leads a rough life after losing his parents.

On June 8, Im Se Mi’s agency Noon Company officially announced that Im Se Mi will star in “Wonderful World” as Han Yu Ri, the CEO of a boutique shop who is like a real sister to Eun Soo Hyun. Likewise, Han Yu Ri regards Soo Hyun’s and Soo Hyun’s mother’s lives as being more precious than her own.

Im Se Mi, who showcased her stable acting skills in various projects including “I’ll Go to You When the Weather is Nice” and TVING’s sci-fi drama “Duty After School,” also starred alongside Cha Eun Woo in the hit drama “True Beauty” in 2020.
