bug = embeding youtube but blocked as emoticon

Since a few months ago youtube started to add - hyphen in their unique generated video url code

this directly clash with soompi forum code which forbid embeding emoticon like 8 - D example this may be a smiley face emoticon

 

example such video url cannot be embed because V - b may be an emoticon

please turn off such feature as it block youtube video embed

Yes, we have noticed this as well. Unfortunately, this is something that we cannot fix right now as this seems to be a feature with the platform Soompi Forums is running on. Hopefully this will be changed in a future release.
