Nothing Uncovered” has shared stills from its upcoming episode!

Based on a popular web novel, “Nothing Uncovered” is a romance thriller drama about investigative reporter Seo Jung Won (Kim Ha Neul) and ace detective Kim Tae Heon (Yeon Woo Jin), who team up to solve a series of murders—and who happen to be ex-lovers. Jang Seung Jo plays Seo Jung Won’s husband Seol Woo Jae, a novelist and chaebol heir.

Spoilers

Previously in “Nothing Uncovered,” when Woo Jae found out that Seo Jung Won had gone to Mueon, he immediately called Seol Pan Ho (Jung Woong In) and demanded to know why Jung Won had gone to Mueon.

On the other hand, while in Mueon, Jung Won found out that Woo Jae graduated from Mueon High School and that it was her father-in-law, Chairman Seol Pan Ho, who donated the memorial tree for the mysterious Lee Na Ri to Mueon High School. This revelation raised a lot of questions about Woo Jae and Na Ri’s past relationship as well as the hidden truth about her death and the Seol family.

The first set of stills depicts a confrontation between Seol Woo Jae and his father Seol Pan Ho. Convinced that his father would abandon Jung Won for the sake of Mu Jin Group, Woo Jae, who is even willing to give up his career to protect Jung Won, blackmails Pan Ho by threatening to reveal his secret to the world.

The father and son are captured glaring at each other with cold expressions on their faces. Unable to contain his anger at his son’s defiance, Pan Ho throws a glass cup at Woo Jae.

Another set of stills captures a cold atmosphere between Jung Won and Woo Jae. While Jung Won was in Mueon, she took a drunk Kim Tae Heon back to his accommodation. At that very moment, she accidentally answered a call from Woo Jae, who couldn’t help wondering who she was with after hearing a man’s voice in the background.

Jung Won is captured looking at Woo Jae with a cold expression on her face, while Woo Jae’s face is full of resentment as he looks at Jung Won. As Jung Won has already completely lost trust in Woo Jae, the rift between the couple keeps getting wider. In one photo, Woo Jae, who is trying to bridge the gap between him and Jung Won and open Jung Won’s tightly closed heart, is captured desperately pleading with Jung Won while holding her arm.

3 Reasons To Keep An Eye On Kim Ha Neul And Yeon Woo Jin's Relationship In "Nothing Uncovered"

by S Nam

by S Nam

KBS2’s “Nothing Uncovered” continues to pique viewers’ interest with the intriguing character dynamics!

Spoilers

Previously, Tae Heon rescued Jung Won after she was kidnapped by Cha Geum Sae (Go Geon Han). Tae Heon visited Jung Won who was admitted to the hospital, and Tae Heon eventually confessed his feelings for her that he had been holding back.

Ahead of the upcoming episode, “Nothing Uncovered” shared three reasons to keep an eye on Seo Jung Won and Kim Tae Heon’s relationship going forward.

The reason behind Jung Won and Tae Heon’s breakup

kim-ha-neul-yeon-woo-jin-3.jpeg

As a reporter and detective couple who used to secretly date, Jung Won and Tae Heon were a great match in many aspects. However, their happy relationship was shattered following the death of Tae Heon’s partner Detective Cha (Danny Ahn). After learning that Jung Won was investigating him for corruption, Detective Cha eventually jumped out of an abandoned building. However, before his passing, Detective Cha told Tae Heon that Jung Won tricked Tae Heon to approach him in order to learn more about the corruption, resulting in Tae Heon to believe Detective Cha’s words and break up with Jung Won.

Reunion following a murder case

Eventually, Jung Won married Seol Woo Jae, while Tae Heon continued his work as a detective, and the two each lived their own lives. However, Jung Won reunited with Tae Heon after witnessing the murder cases of Jin Myung Sook (Lee Young Sook) and Cha Eun Sae (Han Ji Eun). Due to their bad breakup, Jung Won responded sharply when Tae Heon suspected her as the culprit, while Tae Heon questioned Jung Won coldly based on evidence.

3 Questions Left To Be Answered In "Nothing Uncovered" As Kim Ha Neul, Yeon Woo Jin, And Jang Seung Jo Uncover The Truth

May 05, 2024
by D Lee

KBS2’s “Nothing Uncovered” has only two episodes left!

Previous episodes of “Nothing Uncovered” provided viewers with thrilling satisfaction as Seo Jung Won tried to relentlessly uncover the truth about her father’s death and reclaim her own life. Not only that, the romance involving Kim Tae Heon, who is solely focused on Jung Won, and Seol Woo Jae, who hides all his misdeeds for his love for Jung Won, has intensified the drama’s story to its peak.

Below are three questions left to be answered in the final episodes of “Nothing Uncovered.”

Spoilers

Will Seo Jung Won be able to turn her life around?

Jung Won sees the video left by Yoo Yoon Young (Han Chae Ah) and realizes that the person who killed her father and Eun Sae (Han Ji Eun) is the same person. Before the shock even subsides, Lee Ba Reun (Seo Bum June) dies, leaving Jung Won shattered once again. Regardless, as she continues her investigation through Ba Reun’s belongings, she suspects that the person who murdered him might be the same person who murdered her father, and that lurking behind all this is Mujin Group and Mo Hyung Taek (Yoon Je Moon). To uncover the truth, Jung Won moves into Seo Pan Ho’s (Jung Woong In’s) house and begins to delve into her father’s past.

nothing-uncovered-4.jpg

Will Kim Tae Heon be able to reveal the truth?

Tae Heon realizes that Gong Joon Ho (Jung Ho Bin) is the culprit of the murders upon seeing the same whirlwind-patterned knife in the video shown by Jung Won and confronts Joon Ho to turn himself in. Having no willingness to do so, Joon Ho stabs Tae Heon in the abdomen with the same knife, leaving Tae Heon in a life-threatening situation. Attention is drawn on whether Tae Heon can find decisive evidence to uncover all of Joon Ho’s murders.

nothing-uncovered-2.jpg

What decision will Seol Woo Jae make?

Upon learning about Jung Won’s pregnancy, Woo Jae decides to conceal his wrongdoings even more firmly. However, he discovers that the murder of Jung Won’s father was ordered by Pan Ho, leaving Woo Jae in a state of shock, guilt, and eventually, self-loathing. Woo Jae confronts Pan Ho, who insists that everything was done for Woo Jae’s sake. Whether he will choose to turn a blind eye or confess will be revealed in the final episodes.

"First challenge as a detective, I want a raw feeling". "Chemistry with KIM Haneul and JANG SEUNGJO of 'Grilled pork neck'? 90 points".

news-p.v1.20240510.2a8abcc2b8a142b9aaa00

Actor Yeon Woo-jin (40) challenged the role of a detective for the first time and added another life character. This is what I'm saying about Kim Tae-heon of "Let's get the chin once."

KBS2's Monday-Tuesday drama "Let's Catch the Finger" (played by Bae Soo-young, directed by Lee Ho and Lee Hyun-kyung), which ended on the 7th, is a melodrama-tracking thriller in which a reporter who grabs the bad guys by the collar and a detective from a violent team handcuffing the bad guys together track down a series of murders and fall into a huge vortex. Yeon Woo-jin left a deep impression as Kim Tae-heon, the detective ace of the violent team who handcuffs bad guys and shows his desperate love for Seo Jung-won (played by Kim Ha-neul).

In a recent interview, when asked how he felt about the end of the show, Yeon Woo-jin said, "The drama itself was dense, there was no room for breathing, and there was a sense of speed. It's hard to find a comma, so after it's over, I feel a lot of freedom. I was grateful and had fun while filming the drama, but now I think I have a great sense of gratitude and liberation that I have done something," he said.

In order to effectively express Kim Tae-heon's character, he paid a lot of attention to the sleek feeling of eagles and hawks.

He said, "I didn't do a lot of genre, so I thought it could be an opportunity to transform my image on my own. Thinking of Kim Tae-heon, I thought of an eagle, a hawk-like image. I tried to express a two-sided charm that was sophisticated and sensuous, persistent and pure. When I usually prepare a character, I try to relate it to the picture and get a style, but this time I thought of a black eagle. I wanted to lose about three to four kilograms and get a raw feeling, such as tanning," he said.

"I've never gone comfortably when I go to the site," he said. It was a work that went with events and emotions, so there were a lot of dialogue and deep emotions. The gods had a sense of length and density, so they couldn't let go of the script. Even on my days off, I always studied the script. I think it's particularly memorable because I've always acted with tension for six months," he confessed.

news-p.v1.20240510.af85281db5014154bc43c

He also said, "When I played Taeheon's heart toward Jeongheon, I thought of the word 'for you'. I prepared Taeheon by imprinting that heart. There were difficult moments, but playing Taeheon made me think again about the value of love that can overcome difficulties and save each other. In particular, while playing Taeheon, I felt like I was dedicating myself to one person, and I wanted to have that kind of love."

"At first, it was a hard script with emotions, so I thought a lot about how to take Taeheon's emotional line or tone at first. Since I was in love with Jung Won in the past, I wondered if I should go stronger in the cold part in the beginning, but the director took good care of me in detail, including the tone of my lines, and there was a clear direction, so I trusted and acted. Also, I felt like I should trust and follow the other actor and the people around me. We made it by thinking hard and talking to each other," he said, showing his affection for the "Let's get caught on the cheek once" team.

Yeon Woo-jin and everyone's efforts were not in vain. Although the ratings were not high, the reaction from Yeon Woo-jin's life character to the triangular chemistry of Yeon Woo-jin, Kim Ha-neul, and Jang Seung-jo poured out.

He said, "I was worried because it was a character that I had not done before, but it was fun to make it by trusting the people around me. I feel like those things have gone well together. When I started, I told Kim Ha-neul that I was worried because it was a new style, and he said he was nervous and that's one thing. Seeing that those with more years of experience and much more accumulated data are the same, I was encouraged that I wasn't the only one. To me, Taeheon is a character in the top five fingers," he said.

news-p.v1.20240510.3a0dadfe491a4b838dac0

Above all, he expressed satisfaction with his chemistry with Kim Ha-neul and Jang Seung-jo, who played the love triangle, saying, "If I give you a score, I want to give you 90 points. Ten points is a score of regret for me," he said.

In particular, he said of Kim Ha-neul, "It was so good. The acting tone and mood went well with each other. The default I have is correct. The senior didn't pass anything in vain, and he thought hard and prepared. I also like that the things I prepared hard for fit well with you. From the beginning, the production team and I heard that our harmony was good, so it gave me strength and I filmed with a stable mind. I was worried that there might be a sense of heterogeneity because my skin was dark and my senior was white, but fortunately, I think there was a strange harmony."

He said, "There were many difficult and difficult parts because I had to express my heart about Seo Jeong-won and the process of solving the case well. In particular, in the second half, there were a lot of emotional scenes and it was hard, but we knew each other's hardships well, so when I rested at the scene, I was comfortable joking. Such a time became a comma-like time for me. I was grateful that my senior took my jokes and jokes comfortably. I was able to finish it safely because my senior also opened the door of my heart," he said.

Regarding Jang Seung-jo, who was at odds in the play, he said, "I've acted a lot of times that I've accepted and accepted as male and female protagonists, but I've rarely had a character that sticks this far with a male character. So I prepared a lot with Seungjo. I was saddened by the confrontational relationship because I respected and liked him so much as an actor, but we talked on the phone a lot, talked about our concerns, and made jokes. Because of the trust in his brother, he confessed, "The field worked out what they had prepared for each other with tension."

On the other hand, Yeon Woo-jin said he has been into running lately. While filming "Let's get caught with the chin," he ran with his hard body on the last day of filming.

He said, "A long time ago, a senior told me that my physical strength is acting." If you're tired, don't you lose your desire and passion to do more at this moment? So I thought I should build my basic physical strength and I'm still trying to keep it. Since physical strength is that important, I am constantly running no matter how hard it is," he said.

In particular, he said, "I was able to immerse myself better in Kim Tae-heon because of running," adding, "I felt physically pressured while doing this work, but I always tried to run even if I didn't want to do it after filming or on my day off. I thought it resembled Taeheon's heart in a ridiculous situation. I felt that the moment I finished running and threw up my breath resembled Taeheon's extreme feelings, so I tried to run even under pressure, tension, and tiredness. That's why I feel more liberated and that I've done it," he explained.

In addition, he said, "I ran right after the last shoot. I ran a little more because I was greedy than I had done so far, but I was able to let Taeheon go at the moment when I threw up my last breath. There was a strange sense of accomplishment. I am grateful and satisfied that I was able to send Taeheon well and small but definite happiness to myself for consistently doing running that I didn't want to do," he said with a smile.

Finally, Yeon Woo-jin said he was happy and grateful to be able to open his 40s with "Let's get caught with the chin once."

He said, "I also thought that with the beginning of my 40th year, I chose this work well. While preparing, researching, and monitoring the character, I saw a face I didn't usually see. Looking at those things, I wondered if I had met my 40s well, and I also thought that I was getting old so well. I thought maybe I wouldn't be afraid of time passing by," he confessed.

Continuing, "Let's get my cheek caught" is a work that opened my 40s. He gave me a direction to go as an actor. I don't know what kind of character I will play in the future, but I thought I had a different face, and I thought I could show you more diverse characters in the future. As difficult and difficult as it was, I gained confidence. I want to work harder as my body heats up," he said, hoping for "working hard."
