LOST -

This incredible drama was passed on by many - It seethes melancholy in its exquisitely painful darkness

It was beautifully shot, the actors/actresses all put in exceptional performances, the OST fit the mood of the drama perfectly

Its one of the only drama's I've seen where I can say with certainty that its "open ending" was the perfect ending.

I loved it.

I have indefinitely paused this drama for now. Back when it was airing, I felt like it was too heavy to watch, but I am pretty sure I will return to watch and complete this someday :piggydance:

Just saying, but Happiness should totally be on here. Strong female character who not only inherently has the solution to the global problem, but who fights to take care of everyone in her sphere.

This is an old one but Kim Sunah’s lead character in City Hall always impressed me. She transformed from a “troublesome” city worker into the mayor of her town. By the end of the drama, her character had grown so much.

Before: Fiesty, troublesome city worker

After: as Mayor of the city

I was thinking that most of the dramas are so serious that I don't watch and then I saw success story of bright girl -- the first kdrama I totally loved. yay! for a rom-com, it always felt so different -- instead of being saved by the prince, she wanted to be the one saving the prince.

also crash landing on you writer may have taken notes on landing on your future love through parachute -- this drama was the original!

it was pretty amusing to see her rather oblivious to his attempt to charm.

one of my favourite FLs certainly! the only one who dreamed of serving in the army and turned down his proposal to serve. the guy was flummoxed to say the least. hahahah

Noona that ending was epic. "Bright Girl's Sucess" FL is a lot different than most of the FLs I have seen till date, and that ending just made this drama one of the bests for me. We have mostly seen the FLs promising to wait for the ML while they go away for some reason. But in this case it was the guy making promising to wait :eats:

Mine was very good for me. Especially seeing how the 2 FLs were always there for each other, and supported one another when required. The plot was pretty good as well :piggydance:

FIGHTING EVERYONE!!!

*** I watch only for the dramas where my male biases are in especially those are ones who are chunky, chiseled male leads – hahaha – But, nothing is more inspiring also than watching other female leads who are successful, and strong. So, these leading ladies deserve my admiration, too. There are more than a few badass female leads, as well – female lead characters that can hold their own and won't back down. Sometimes they stay with their audience and have more of a story to tell. So, I voted for these ff dramas: :heart3:

Strong Woman Do Bong Soo – The title itself, you’d know that Bong-soon takes with her defining personality and physical ability. This down-to-earth female lead heart is no let-down either with her determination when it comes to defending others. She has super-strength and her strength combined with her "never back down" attitude.

Crash Landing On You - Besides her highest standard fashion sense that we see in the drama, Yoon Se-ri is also known for her fearless personality. Her will to survive and beat the odds was truly inspiring.

Hi Bye, Mama – I liked Cha Yu Ri’s (Kim Tae Hee) character. She shows that there are no limits to love and her strength throughout each episode is also inspiring.

When the Camella Blooms – Watching this drama you can't help but root for the main female lead, Oh Dong-Baek (Gong Hyo-Jin). She also has moments of self-doubt that are amicable, but, in the show, what really gave her praise was her ability to not back down. She refuses to let anyone take what she's worked hard for.

Doctors - Yoo Hye-jung’s got quite the brain to be one of the toughest female leads I’ve seen. She also shows how much compassion she is still capable of – while staying absolutely kick-RickRoll'D.

Happiness – sigh…..I already voted when this drama was added into the list.

Aside from the dramas I voted for, there are ones that I liked, which are not included in the poll list :

Vincenzo - I liked Hong Cha-young played by actress Jeon Yeo-been’s role who works as a lawyer. She has a competitive spirit, and does an amazing job as a lawyer in court than everyone else, despite having her flaws, emphasizing her strong character as a female lead. I have a good laugh with her carefree antics but get chills over her ability to do whatever it takes to succeed.

Fight for my Way - Ae-ra lives to the title of the show by remaining ambitious about becoming an announcer. She is considered a good role model for the audience as a character who is refusing to be dampened by the words and actions of others while staying strong.

Scarlete Heart - Hae Soo has come face to face with countless of challenges. How she takes everything in her stride while maintaining her faith to others shows just how strong she is, both emotionally and mentally.

The King Eternal Monarch - Tae-Eul is a strong female character when facing serious danger. When the ponytail is up, you do not want to mess with her – hahaha – She proves that tough times don't last, tough people do.

It’s OK Not to be OK – Ko Moon‑Young (Seo Ye-Ji) from this drama is a bit peculiar but in a good way. She comes off as cold but she knows what she wants, no matter what people say. She's literally afraid of no one and stands up for herself.

Hyena - Just like the title suggests, Jung Geum-ja (Kim Hye-soo) is a hyena when it comes to chasing after money in her career. She stops at no end to achieve her goals.

“ A woman is like a tea bag – you can't tell how strong she is until you put her in hot water.” – HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY 2023 - A strong woman stands up for herself. Successful women know their worth and are not afraid to charge for it. :Megathanks:
