There’s no denying, Park Hyung-sik has captured many hearts with his comedic timing and charm in many of our favorite K-dramas. His ability to switch from a cute boy-next-door to full-on leading man is just one of his many strengths. Without further ado, here are some of our favorite Park Hyung-sik K-dramas to date.

 

3. ‘Doctor Slump’

Park Hyung-sik and his comedic antics are back in his latest K-drama “Doctor Slump.” The actor has proved once again that no one can do annoyingly cocky yet adorable characters like him. 

 

 

He plays the role of self-confident Yeo Jeong-woo, a brilliant plastic surgeon, who fell into a career slump. Aside from his role, we are also loving his chemistry with Park Shin-hye, with whom he is reunited after working in “The Heirs.”

Park Shinhye and Park Hyungsik's 'Let's Go Play in Dubai~' campaign is gaining attention

Dubai Tourism has launched a new global campaign video featuring actors Park Shinhye and Park Hyungsik.

 

The actors visited Dubai in March as 'Dubai Friends' to film the campaign.

 

The global campaign video titled 'Dubai, Who's Ready?' features the two actors who starred as a couple in the drama Doctor Slump, which aired earlier this year and gained widespread popularity. In this campaign, they reunite as lovers in Dubai, showcasing the city's stunning sights and diverse attractions.

 

The story begins with the two actors unexpectedly meeting at the outdoor pool of the Palazzo Versace Hotel. Without any set plans, they explore Dubai, engaging in playful banter and embarking on an unexpected adventure. Through these shared experiences, their bond deepens, bringing them closer together.

Park Shinhye and Park Hyungsik display their perfect chemistry against the backdrop of Dubai's iconic landmarks, including the Museum of the Future with its stunning Arabic calligraphy, the Al Fahidi historical neighborhood that preserves Dubai's rich heritage, the newly opened Atlantis the Royal, as well as the city's desert landscapes and fountain shows.

 

Shahab Shayan, Regional Director for Asia Pacific at Dubai Tourism, stated, “The ‘Dubai, Who’s Ready’ campaign leverages the K-drama format to showcase Dubai as a stunning backdrop for visitors' stories. We’re thrilled to have Park Shinhye and Park Hyungsik in Dubai for the shoot, and we hope viewers find the city as captivating as the two actors did.” He added, “K-content is beloved not just in Korea but globally. We’re excited to share Dubai’s unique charm with audiences worldwide through this campaign.”

Actress Park Shinhye, who took part in the campaign, shared, “I thoroughly enjoyed my time in Dubai. Everywhere I went, from the desert to Palm Jumeirah, Al Seef, the Dubai Fountain Show, and Burj Khalifa, there was so much to see. Dubai is such a captivating place that I definitely want to return.” She added, “I hope those who watch the video are inspired to explore Dubai, follow their hearts, and create unforgettable memories.”

 

Actor Park Hyungsik shared, "My time in Dubai felt like a dream. I was captivated by the towering buildings that glittered from dawn until night. The clear sky and the sunset over the endless sea are still vivid in my memory. I’m grateful to have experienced the many wonders of Dubai."

 

This global campaign video showcasing Dubai's allure will be released on Dubai Tourism’s official social media channels.

The Kdrama Doctor Slump also takes place in Anesthesia, the female cast becomes depressed and takes leave from work because she can't handle the pressure from her seniors and the excessive workload. There was even an incident where his dissertation was claimed by his senior.  when I saw this, I was like, oh, it actually exists in the real world.
