Synopsis:

Ye Xi, a kind-hearted and good-natured girl, aspires to become a pugilistic hero of her generation. Having no experiencing in Jiang Hu, she harbors a beautiful fantasy toward the wulin. Ye Xi whole-heartedly helps the weak, but does not understand the sinister side of the human heart. She is made use of, lied to and betrayed by the people she trusts; causing her reputation to be tarnished and almost losing her life. Despite these repeated blows, Ye Xi does not forget her original intention, and believes that justice naturally inhabits man's heart. She sets out to investigate the truth and prove her innocence. During her journey, she meets divine doctor Bai Yue, who silently protects her and goes through life-and death experiences with her. Ye Xi also matures in the process, becoming more confident and strong; and also finally understands true love as well as the spirit of wuxia. With Bai Yue's help, Ye Xi takes the scums who framed her to task and brings justice to Jiang Hu. Bai Yue also uses his medical skills to treat the people who were bewitched. From then on, the wulin regains its upright aura, and returns to the path of chivalry.

rate it 8.0/10 , a very marginal 8 because of theme and not production quality , other drama that I rate 8.0 and above have more story depth and acting skills

ending was well paced without rush or bad guy
the high point of this show was him burying her twice and rescue her twice
songs were good

actress is suitable for her genie spirit role with those little actions and expression , but terrible zero effort at matching lipsync to the complex text dialog

 

the characters in the story are quite simple as they only have 1 or 2 goals in life ,

the "main characters" have cheat code that makes them overpowered in that world

cmon .... magic , healing medicine , infinite army , infinite money , shotgun  .... there's no way those simpletons with an axe gonna win but they repeatedly rush to their doom

Ah. I had this number in mind too. I wouldn't call the show good yet somehow I enjoyed watching it.
