Seolhyun And Im Siwan Take A Stroll Down The Beautiful Alleys Of Angok Village In “Summer Strike” Special Poster

Summer Strike” has dropped a special poster full of happy vibes!

Based on a popular webtoon of the same name, “Summer Strike” is a heartwarming romance drama about people who decide to quit their current lifestyles in the busy city and move to a small town to do nothing, where they’re ultimately able to find themselves. Im Siwan plays Ahn Dae Bum, who is living a life full of unanswered questions as he works as a librarian in a small seaside village named Angok. Seolhyun takes on the role of Lee Yeo Reum, who becomes a full-time employee at the company she has been working at for five years but eventually declares a strike on her own life, quits her job, and just takes one backpack to Angok, where she lives in an empty billiards room.

Spoilers

In the first and second episodes that aired earlier this week, Lee Yeo Reum quit her company due to burnout and came to Angok Village. Yeo Reum, who has only been looking after others and not herself, declared a break from her everyday life and decided to live a completely different life, making viewers relate by feeling vicarious pleasure. Angok Village’s librarian Ahn Dae Bum was often misunderstood by Lee Yeo Reum because he does not talk much, but his innocent gestures made Lee Yeo Reum smile.

In the midst of this, the production team of “Summer Strike” released a special poster, previewing the heartwarming chemistry between Lee Yeo Reum and Ahn Dae Bum, which will start in earnest from episode 3. In the poster, Yeo Reum and Dae Bum are together in Angok Village. Yeo Reum is in an alley lined with flowerpots, and Dae Bum is walking by the shore with a backdrop of beautiful mountains and a beach. The appearance of the two who are stretching out their legs as if they are doing a high five with their feet draws viewers’ attention. In adddition, large commas that surround the two add to the charm of the special poster.

ep 2 was so funny except for the terrace scene at the end of the episode.

I didnt expect that.  I wonder if its related to the Billiards Hall.

I liked all those details

- the map.. that was so kind of DaeBum

- Yeo Reum's membership card picture...  :D

- that scene with the apples...

- the ''Excuse me, miss...'' scene..

AOA’s Seolhyun Faces Enemies Who Want To Kick Her Out Of Her New Home In “Summer Strike”

AOA’s Seolhyun is up against some scheming new neighbors in “Summer Strike”!

Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, “Summer Strike” is a new romance drama about people who leave behind their busy lives in the city in order to move to a small town and do nothing. ZE:A’s Im Siwan stars as Ahn Dae Bum, a shy math genius who is now living a quiet life as a village librarian, while Seolhyun plays Lee Yeo Reum, a burned-out young professional who quits her job and ventures to an unfamiliar village in order to find herself.

Spoilers

On the previous episode of “Summer Strike,” Lee Yeo Reum made up her mind to rent the abandoned billiard hall in Angok. Despite the whispers that someone had died there, Lee Yeo Reum was drawn to the shockingly low rent of 50,000 won (approximately $37) a month and agreed to sign a lease right away.

In newly released stills from the drama’s upcoming third episode, Lee Yeo Reum cheerfully gets ready to make her new place home. Positively beaming with excitement, she diligently sweeps the area outside the billiard hall and goes shopping for the things she needs to settle in.

However, the blissfully oblivious Lee Yeo Reum is not yet aware of a threat in her midst.

Sung Min (Kwak Min Gyu), the son of her new landlord, is none too pleased about his father’s new tenant, as he was hoping to sell the billiard hall to someone else. Keeping a close eye on Lee Yeo Reum, the plotting Sung Min calls high school student Bom (Shin Eun Soo) for a meeting to hatch a scheme to kick the newcomer out of the hall.

Kwak-Min-Gyu-Shin-Eun-Soo-768x475.jpg

“Yeo Reum, who is excited and happy to start living in Angok, will face an unexpected crisis,” teased the producers of the drama. “Including the hostile Sung Min, Yeo Reum will face conflicts with some of the people in the village, leading a variety of incidents to unfold.”

“Please look forward to the story of Yeo Reum, who unintentionally becomes the center of controversy in the village to which she moved in the hopes of not having to do anything,” they continued, “and Episode 3 of ‘Summer Strike,’ which will combine healing with entertaining new incidents.”

The third episode of “Summer Strike” will air on November 28 at 9:20 p.m. KST.

Im Siwan And Seolhyun Toe The Line Between Romance And Friendship In “Summer Strike”

ZE:A’s Im Siwan and AOA’s Seolhyun are getting closer on ENA’s “Summer Strike”!

Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, “Summer Strike” is a new romance drama about people who leave behind their busy lives in the city in order to move to a small town and do nothing. Im Siwan stars as Ahn Dae Bum, a shy math genius who is now living a quiet life as a village librarian, while Seolhyun plays Lee Yeo Reum, a burned-out young professional who quits her job and ventures to an unfamiliar village in order to find herself.

Spoilers

In newly released stills from the drama’s upcoming episode, Lee Yeo Reum and Ahn Dae Bum become further entangled in one another’s lives as they start spending more time together. As they start walking the fine line between romance and friendship, the duo pays a visit to one of the elderly women in the village in order to conduct an interview for the county journal.

Compared to how she usually dresses, Lee Yeo Reum seems to have put some effort into her appearance: instead of tying her hair back into a messy ponytail and wearing casual clothing, Lee Yeo Reum has styled her hair into waves and has even donned a skirt.

However, despite Lee Yeo Reum’s warm smile and friendly demeanor as she attempts to interview the older woman, she will soon become flustered by an unexpected turn of events. Ahn Dae Bum—who is even more introverted than Lee Yeo Reum—will also be caught off guard.

The producers of “Summer Strike” teased, “Yeo Reum and Dae Bum will get closer. Their youthful, cute sides as they remain aware of each other at all times will make viewers’ hearts flutter. Please keep an eye on the romance and healing developing between these two people, who have left the library for an outing together.”
