New Drama news! :) *Maybe*


KimJiWon recently offered the lead role for 'Queen of Tears' & on final stage of discussion. A new work by ParkJiEun (My Love from The Star) and KimSooHyun considering the role as the male lead. Both are expected to work together as a married couple


KimJiWon agency confirmed the actress received cast offer for 'Queen of Tears' & positively reviewing. The drama is written by #ParkJiEun (My Love From The Stars, Crash Landing On You) & directed by #KimHeeWon (Vincenzo, Little Women)

KimSooHyun and KimJiwon are now confirmed for new drama TheQueenofTears as married couple Soo Hyun plays Baek Hyun-woo, the legal director of the Queens Group and Ji-won plays Hong Hae-in, the arrogant queen of the Queens Department Store and the third generation conglomerate


The filming of the drama is scheduled in the first half of 2023 and released in the second half of 2023.

@backstreetboysfan for some reason I never expected this pairing but totally here for it!!! KJW can be a great actress if given good roles too so I am excited for this pairing.


The writer is a hit or miss for me though so I hope this will be one I like. I did love both Legend of the Blue Sea and You from Another Star while despite the popularity only thought Crash Landing was Ok.

For the first time, top stars Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Ji-won will work together as a married couple in the new series, Queen Of Tears (2023), which is written by the famous screenwriter Park Ji-eun who penned the hit dramas My Love From The Star (2013), The Producers (2015), and Crash Landing On You (2019). The drama tells the miraculous and humorous love story of a husband and wife who overcome trials and stay together against all odds. Fans are excited to see their onscreen chemistry and performance as a couple. Kim Soo-hyun played a worker in a psychiatric hospital in tvN’s It’s Okay To Not Be Okay (2020) and a student falsely charged of murder in Coupang Play’s One Ordinary Day (2021) while Kim Ji-won recently starred in JTBC’s My Liberation Notes (2022) as an introvert woman who seeks freedom from the mundane.
