Guest bubbles20
also TOM CRUISE's grandmother is korean ahh source? ive never heard abt this in my life not saying ur wrong but it seems kinda umbelievalbe anyway LIN ZHI LING - A RISING CHINESE STAR The Straits Times, Singapore Tuesday, May 9, 2006 Big-picture debut for Chiling Taiwan's top model Chiling Lin (Lin Zhi Ling) will make her movie debut in internationally-known director John Woo's upcoming film, Battle of Red Cliff. She will play a legendary beauty with a prominant role in the movie, which is based on a famous battle during China's Three Kingdoms period of 221 to 265, Woo said during a visit to Taiwan. At a press conference on Sunday, he said he had been eyeing Lin, who injured herself after falling off a horse last July, for a year. When they met for the first time in Beijing last year, he asked her whether she would dare to ride horses again. Lin said she would. The model recently had the media guessing over her plans when she took a six-month sabbatical from her TV hosting duties. She has started acting and voice training lessons for the role of Xiao Qiao, the wife of General Zhou Yu who will be played by Hong Kong star Chow Yun Fat. Hong Kong actor Tong Leung Chiu Wai will play famous military strategist Zhuge Liang, Woo said. Filming is expected to begin next March, after the script is finished. The movie will be a co-production between China's state-owned China Film Group and Woo's Los Angeles-based Lion Rock Productions. The director is in Taiwan to promote Song Song And Little Cat, a short film on the friendship of two Chinese children. It is one in a series of the United Nations-sponsored The Invisible Children. Guest tee.pee
in the AMERICAN MUSIC SCENE: Jason Newsted, bassist of Metallica, is half-Filipino. Ever heard of the band "MOONPOOLS AND CATERPILLARS"? All of the members are pure Filipino born in the US. And, the fast rising band "THE SPEAKS", pure Filipino born in the US.
