Upcoming series “The Fabulous” has unveiled a new teaser!

“The Fabulous” is about the work, passion, romance, and friendships of young men and women who have thrown themselves into the fashion industry. It will portray their struggles to survive in the competitive fashion world and their flamboyant and passionate daily lives in the nation’s trendiest industry.

Chae Soo Bin takes on the role of Pyo Ji Eun, the manager of a PR agency for luxury brands. As someone who loved pretty things since she was little, she fights to survive in the fashion industry that she has longed to be a part of for her entire life. SHINee’s Minho plays the freelance photo retoucher Ji Woo Min who has everything from looks to abilities. The one thing he lacks is passion, and he is not the type to be bound by work or love. With Pyo Ji Eun, he maintains a relationship that swings somewhere in between friendship and the beginning of a romance.

The trailer kicks off with the narration, “There are those who shine in hidden places. Thanks to them, new fashion is born today.” The four youths, who are building their careers as a marketer, a photographer, a designer, and a model, suffer from demanding celebrities, despair in the sudden rain, and live as D-class members of society. Even if they are bumped, dumped, and stumped, they stick to their ways and do their best in both their professional and love lives.

“The Fabulous” will premiere on November 4.

Since Pyo Ji-Eun (Chae Soo-Bin) was little, she dreamed of working in the fashion field. She now works as the section chief of a luxury brand promotion agency. While she struggles to survive in the fashion field, she maintains herself with a bright personality and positive energy.

Netflix’s upcoming rom-com has come out with a new poster and video teaser, featuring The Fabulous quartet: Chae Soo-bin (Rookie Cops), Min-ho (Yumi’s Cells), Park Hee-jung, and Lee Sang-woon (Lovers of the Red Sky).

With our four leads chasing their dreams in the colorful world of the fashion industry, the story explores how the cogwheels work together behind the scenes, from design to marketing and even photography and modeling itself. Adulting isn’t easy, of course – in any field – and we follow our characters as they navigate their careers as well as friendship and love.

 

The newly released teaser begins by introducing the story and our characters: marketer Pyo Ji-eun (Chae Soo-bin), photographer Ji Woo-min (Min-ho), model Yeh Sun-ho (Park Hee-jung), and fashion designer Joseph (Lee Sang woon).

We also catch a glimpse of stylist Lee Mi-do (Rose Mansion), who has to temporarily ban our heroine due to a temperamental celeb. Ji-eun reflects on her troubles afterwards with her friends and even the famous supermodel Sun-ho can relate, having to face obstacles in her own career. As the saying goes (and quite literally in the teaser), when it rains, it pours.

There is some silver in those clouds, though, and we move onto Ji-eun’s potential love interests — Choi Won-myung (Greasy Melo) and Minkyu (Seasons of Blossom) – not to mention the strongest contender, Woo-min. The teaser then comes to a close with our four friends having fun and living life to the fullest.

Directed by PD Kim Jung-hyun (At a Distance, Spring Is Green) with scripts co-written by Kim Ji-hee and Im Jin-sun, Netflix drama The Fabulous will be launching next month on November 4.

Jeon Soo-kyung to star in Netflix series 'The Fabulous' Unique presence...

 

 

Actress Jeon Soo-kyung has been confirmed to appear in the Netflix series 'The Fabulous'.

 

‘The Fabulous’ is a hyper-realistic romance depicting the dreams, love, and friendship of young people who wrote ‘fashion’ and devoted their lives to the fashion world, which they read as ‘passion’.

 

Jeon Soo-kyung takes on the role of Jang Ok-jin in the play and leads the story. Ok-Jin is the mother of famous actor and designer Josef (Lee Sang-Woon), who instills confidence in her son by early recognition and support. In response, she plans to captivate the small screen by radiating the overflowing talent of Jeon Soo-kyung to her heart's content.

Get ready for a special “Transit Love” (“EX-change”)-themed episode of “Knowing Bros”!

On October 29, the popular JTBC variety show aired a sneak peek of its next episode, which will feature SHINee’s Minho and Chae Soo Bin as guests. Minho and Chae Soo Bin are starring together in the upcoming Netflix series “The Fabulous,” which is set against the backdrop of the fashion industry.

In keeping with the theme of the episode, Minho explains in the preview, “The two of us are exes. Although we broke up, we’re still close friends.”

After broaching the topic of ex-lovers, the “Knowing Bros” cast begins to tease one another about their real-life past romances. Lee Jin Ho turns to Lee Sang Min and asks, presumably about his ex-wife, “So do you not contact her at all?”

Meanwhile, Lee Soo Geun jokingly complains to Super Junior‘s Kim Heechul, “Because of you, that group can’t appear on this show! Do you know how badly I want to see them?”

The guests and cast members then pretend to be contestants on the hit dating show “Transit Love” (“EXchange”) as they feign meeting one another for the first time. The preview ends on a cliffhanger, with everyone eagerly waiting for Chae Soo Bin to make her final choice.

Netflix original series "The Fabulous" postpones its premiere date

Netflix joined the period of national mourning due to the unfortunate happenings in Itaewon. 

The upcoming Netflix original series "The Fabulous" was originally set to premiere on November 4th. Instead of the original date, it has been decided that the airing date will be postponed. 

On October 31st, Netflix announced through their social media accounts that they would temporarily postpone the schedule of the release of the drama "The Fabulous" to mourn for the victims of the Itaewon incident. 

Netflix shared, "As national mourning is being made because of the regrettable incident, we have decided to temporarily postpone the premiere and the press conference of 'The Fabulous'."

South Korea is currently mourning the aftermath of the Itaewon incident that happened on the night of October 29th. Several young lives were lost due to the Itaewon tragedy. 

Many programs, events, concerts, and comeback releases were also canceled and postponed to a later date to spend a period of mourning for the victims. Several Korean celebrities also expressed their condolences to the victims of the incident.

 

 

"The Fabulous" is a drama that will revolve around four passionate friends who have devoted their lives to the fashion industry. 

The series will be the latest work of director Kim Jung Hyun who's known for being the man behind the works "At a Distance, Spring Is Green," "Legal High," "A Korean Odyssey," "Gu Family Book," "A Gentleman's Dignity," "Secret Garden," and "Playful Kiss."

"The Fabulous" will be led by Chae Soo Bin, SHINee's Choi Min Ho, Lee Sang Woon, Park Hee Jung, Shin Dong Mi, and Lee Mi Do.

Choi Min Ho will play the role of Ji Woo Min. he works as a freelance retoucher who makes the photographs more appealing. He has good looks and he is also good at his job but he's not that passionate about work or even about love. 

Chae Soo Bin on the other hand will play the role of Pyo Ji Eun, the section chief of a luxury brand promotion agency. She has dreamed about working in the fashion industry ever since she was young. Despite all the struggles that she faces in the fashion field, she still chooses to have a bright and positive personality.

“The Fabulous” is about the work, passion, romance, and friendships of young men and women who have thrown themselves into the fashion industry. It will portray their struggles to survive in the competitive fashion world and their flamboyant and passionate daily lives in the nation’s trendiest industry.

Chae Soo Bin takes on the role of Pyo Ji Eun, the manager of a PR agency for luxury brands, while SHINee’s Minho plays the freelance photo retoucher Ji Woo Min who has everything from looks to abilities. The one thing he lacks is passion, and he is not the type to be bound by work or love. With Pyo Ji Eun, he maintains a relationship that swings somewhere in between friendship and the beginning of a romance.

With regards to her similarities to Pyo Ji Eun, Chae Soo Bin commented, “The responsibility we feel for work and the passion we have to do well are very similar. She works hard to bear all the responsibility for the work she’s assigned so I also really related to her in situations where things unintentionally got tied up or there were misunderstandings. Ji Eun and I are both at an age where mistakes are inevitable. But Ji Eun’s work at the PR agency was incredibly interesting.”

The interviewer mentioned that Chae Soo Bin and Minho’s chemistry was perfect on the set of their photo shoot, and the actress confirmed that their teamwork was just as great on their drama set. “Our set atmosphere in itself was extremely lively,” she shared. “When the drama is released, you’ll be able to see our ‘true friend’ chemistry.”

She added, “Minho takes care of those around him really well. He’s someone who willingly lends his heater, even when he must be cold too. He even carefully paid attention to those youngest on our set. Unlike [his character] Woo Min, Minho is full of passion. Thanks to Minho meeting the character of Woo Min that I saw in the script, I think a wide variety of aspects were livened".
