Continuous airing, looks like they don't want to clash with any dramas that are premiering during

I'm happy to be able to see Wang He Di on the small screen again.

ep 1  was amazing..   

 

I love the intro and the background music.

The  custom of sacrificing the tribute ladies was very cruel. 

I wonder how Xiao Duo became so powerful. The Bureau is disciplined and efficient. 

 

The scene between XD and the Empress made me laugh..

She is cunning and she wants him.

He is aware of it and he uses it very well. 

 

 

 

The scene between XD and the Lantern Prince..

 

The  Prince was kind and humble and XD was clever.     I liked when XD stopped the prince from kneeling.

 

 

 

 

Lady Bu is smart and she calmly accepted her situation. 

I liked how she regretted not having a better breakfast.  She is a damsel in distress but not in tears.

I assume she will try to kill herself.

I just finished Ep 1.  @rocher22 I agree with you.  Ep 1 is good, thanks to Dylan.  He carries the entire Ep.   FL Yukee has nothing much to offer.  

 

For me, Ep 1 is good.  But not Amazingly good.  

 

This kind of Role suits Dylan to a "T".   A cold and sly character who has to use his "Eyes" to express his Emotions.  But he is on the good side of Mankind.   So it is alright.

 

Yes.  The scene between Dylan and the Empress is "Funny".  Dylan  "Hated"  her so much, that he has to Cleanse his hand after the Empress has touched it.

 

The only set-back is, the flow of the Story is quite "Predictable": 

- Like I can guess that the "Lantern Prince" is going to beg Dylan to save Yukee. 

- That Yukee is going to escape.

- And of course they (ML & FL) will have to fall in love with each other.

 

I look forward to see what Ep 2 has to offer.

The scene at the beginning of the second episode was brutally realistic. These poor girls...

XD saw that piece of glass and he realized that Lady Bu is smart.

Im glad it caught his attention first. 

 

 

 

 

 

I love all the misunderstanding between Chief Xiao and Consort Duan.  

After the ''If you want to get married'' and  ''we are sisters'' scenes it was the first time we saw XD being annoyed..
