Yoo In Soo will be joining Ra Mi Ran, Lee Do Hyun, and Ahn Eun Jin on the upcoming JTBC K-drama "Bad Mom."

Yoo In Soo's agency Management District confirmed on January 17 that the actor's next project will be the upcoming K-drama "Bad Mom." He will portray the role named Bang Sam Shik. 

This will be the follow-up project of Yoo In Soo after starring in the hit K-drama "Alchemy of Souls Season 2: Light and Shadow" with Lee Jae Wook, Go Youn Jung, NU'EST's Hwang Min Hyun, Shin Seung Ho, Yoo Joon Sang, and Oh Na Ra. 

 

Yoon In Soo is booked and busy just like last year. Aside from "Bad Mother," the actor will also star in the upcoming K-dramas "The Uncanny Counter 2" and "Daily Dose of Sunshine." 

He will also join the new movie titled "You Did Great!" together with Yoo Sun Ho, Kang Mi Na, Shin Soo Hyun, Seo Hye Won, and Lee Chan Hyung. 

Yoon In Soo made his acting debut in 2017 through the JTBC K-drama "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon." Since then, he has appeared in several series such as "School 2017," "While You Were Sleeping," "Avengers Social Club," "Life," "My ID Is Gangnam Beauty," "Mama Fairy and the Woodcutter," "Moment at Eighteen," "At a Distance, Spring Is Green," "All of Us Are Dead," and more. 

 

"Bad Mom" is the collaboration work of director Shim Na Yeon ("Beyond Evil" and "Moment at Eighteen") and writer Bae Se Young ("Extreme Job" and "Stellar: A Magical Ride"). 

The upcoming series will revolve around the relationship between a single mother and his son. Young Soon, a mother who has no choice but to become a bad mother to her child, and her son Kang Ho who will return to being a child because of amnesia after an unexpected accident. 

Yoon Soo will portray the role of Bang Sam Shik. He is known as a troublemaker but also has a pure heart for being loyal and having a crush on only one girl since childhood. 

"Bad Mom" will air in the first half of this year. The upcoming K-drama will join JTBC's Wednesday and Thursday K-drama timeslot.

“The Good Bad Mother” is a heartwarming new comedy about a woman who must return to her motherly duties after her adult son unexpectedly becomes like a young child again. It was confirmed in January that Ra Mi Ran will be playing the role of the “bad mother” Young Soon, with Lee Do Hyun playing her son Kang Ho. Ahn Eun Jin will also star in the drama as Lee Mi Joo, Kang Ho’s longtime friend and sole support system, who moves back to her hometown due to financial struggles.

 

The drama recently revealed a whole new slew of cast members who will bring their unique charms to this healing comedy.

 

Yoo In Soo will play the village’s troublemaker Bang Sam Shik, a person who is pure-hearted and exudes very refreshing energy that onlooking parents and neighbors can’t help but click their tongues in disapproval at.

The upcoming slice-of-life drama The Good Bad Mother has confirmed its premiere date and cast lineup. The jTBC drama will officially premiere on April 26. 

The Good Bad Mother tells the story of a single mother, Jin Young Soon. Young Soon earns her living by running a pig farm. To not let her son Choi Kang Ho end up with a life like hers, she becomes a strict "bad" mother to him. 

Years later, Kang Ho becomes a prosecutor with a cold-hearted personality. To pursue his career, he moved away from his hometown and mother. But when an unexpected accident turns him from an adult to a child, he returns home to live with his mother. 

The veteran actress Ra Mi Ran will be playing Jin Young Soon, and The Glory actor Lee Do Hyun will be seen taking the complex role of Kang Ho. Moreover, Ahn Eun Jin will also star in the drama as Kang Ho's friend Lee Mi Joo. 

 

 

The Alchemy of Souls actor Yoo In Soo will be seen as the notorious but kind-hearted Bang Sam Shik, who is infamous in the neighb-ofneighborhoodhe troubles he makes. Jung Woong In is the prosecutor-turned-assemblyman Oh Tae Soo running for the upcoming elections. On March 15, JTBC unveiled a teaser poster featuring main leads  Ra Mi Ran and Lee Do Hyun in front of the farmhouse. 

The upcoming K-drama is set to premiere on April 26 and ahead of its release, JTBC has been releasing different kinds of promotions. 

The Good Bad Mother will be the collaboration work of director Shim Na Yeon (Beyond Evil)  and screenwriter Bae Se Young (Extreme Job).

“The Good Bad Mother” is a heartwarming new comedy about a woman who must return to her motherly duties after her adult son unexpectedly becomes like a young child again. Ra Mi Ran will be playing the role of the “bad mother” Jin Young Soon, with Lee Do Hyun playing her son Choi Kang Ho. Ahn Eun Jin will also star in the drama as Lee Mi Joo, Kang Ho’s longtime friend and sole support system, who moves back to her hometown due to financial struggles.

The trailer begins with a truck loaded with pigs entering a village as someone narrates, “Once upon a time, there’s a woman named Young Soon who came to Jowoori village.” Getting out of the driver’s seat is the heavily pregnant Young Soon. When her son is born, Young Soon and her husband (played by Jo Jin Woong) named him Choi Kang Ho in hope that he will become someone who is competent, strong, and powerful. However, when Young Soon eventually has to raise Kang Ho on her own while running a pig farm, she becomes a “bad mom” in order to not pass on her hardships to her son.

The teaser then gives glimpses of Young Soon’s tough love parenting as she can be seen repeatedly putting her son under pressure by saying, “If you study hard and become a prosecutor, no one can look down on you or bully you,” and “Why would you let someone ruin your life?!” To his mom’s harsh words, Kang Ho replies with tears in his eyes, “‘My’ life? When do I ever have ‘my’ life?”

In the following scenes, Kang Ho is now a cold-hearted prosecutor and has his life based on his mother’s plans. However, in a sudden turn of events, the teaser hints at an upcoming huge change in the son and mother’s life as Kang Ho is now lying in the hospital while Young Soon tearfully remarks, “This is an opportunity from heaven. It’s an opportunity for us to restart our life from the beginning.” The trailer ends with the final question, “Can Kang Ho and Young Soon be happy again?”

The Good Bad Mother tells the story of a single mother, Jin Young Soon. Young Soon earns her living by running a pig farm. To not let her son Choi Kang Ho end up with a life like hers, she becomes a strict 'bad' mother to him. 

Years later, Kang Ho becomes a prosecutor with a cold-hearted personality. To pursue his career, he moved away from his hometown and mother. But when an unexpected accident turns him from an adult to a child, he returns home to live with his mother. 

The trailer gives a short introduction to Jin Young Soon's (Ra Mi Ran) life and her character. Young Soon is an ordinary woman who earns her living by running a pig farm in a humble town. At first, she seems like a kind and pleasant woman leading a happy life. But then, the trailer shows a scene in which Young Soon is crying and trying to convince her son Choi Kang Ho (Lee Do Hyun), who seems to have caused mischief. Later in the trailer, she is even seen slapping him, and that's when she turns into a 'bad' mother who wants her son to live a better life than hers. 

Her efforts bear fruits when her son gets a successful career as a prosecutor. But Young Soon's sense of fulfilment is short-lived when Choi Kang Ho (Lee Do Hyun) gets into an accident and gets a personality of a child.

It’s been seven (!) years since Jo Jin-woong’s (Entourage, Signal) last drama and we’ll be seeing him soon on April 26, with JTBC’s The Good Bad Mother, which is also releasing on Netflix. Jo’s character falls in love with pig farmer Ra Mi-ran (Dr. Park’s Clinic), becoming her husband and Lee Do-hyun’s (The Glory) father; however, it’s not yet clear if this is past or present, or if he is Lee’s step-dad versus biological father.
