CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS

 

Lee Sang Shik

Lee Sang Shik is a strict employee not only with himself, but with everyone around him. He works at the third branch of the marketing department of Gaus Electronics. He will literally speak out for anything that doesn’t align with his belief, even to his seniors and supervisors. This is the reason why he frequently becomes the center of conflicts.

 

Cha Na Rae

Cha Na Rae is the  most efficient and professional assistant manager, and Lee Sang Shik's supervisor. However, when it comes to her personal life, Cha Na Rae is the complete opposite. She can be highly impractical and quite emotional. Due to that, everyone is a bit cautious, worrying that she might explode from time to time.

 

Baek Ma Tan

Baek Ma Tan is a 2nd generation chaebol, the heir of Power Group, Korea’s #2 company and the biggest rival of Gaus Electronics. However, Baek Ma Tan wants to reach his own success. That is why he disguises himself and starts working at his father’s rival company, Gaus Electronics.

 

Geon Kang Mi

Geon Kang Mi is the prima donna and star of the company. While she may look beautiful on the outside, a huge amount of effort requires for her to stay in shape and be one of the prettiest employees of “Gaus Electronics”.

Unfortunately, all her efforts are in vain once she gets drunk, as she becomes a wild animal around food.

Olleh TV revealed the first poster of their upcoming drama!

 

Webtoon-based drama “Gaus Electronics” (literal title) is a comedy drama which will cover the struggles that all office workers can relate to as well as office romance and friendships.

 

The poster which was revealed on August 18 introduces the employees of the third branch of the marketing department at Gaus Electronics. From left to right, Geon Gang Mi (Kang Min Ah), Cha Na Rae (Go Sung Hee), Lee Sang Sik (Kwak Dong Yeon), and Baek Ma Tan (Bae Hyun Sung) are holding onto a huge electronic cord. They wittily express Gaus Electronics’ unique identity by posing as if they are trying to plug the cord into an outlet extension cord together.

 

The text written on the left side of the poster reads, “You are already ‘plugged in’ to this company.” Viewers are curious about what kind of entertaining chemistry these four characters who bicker every day at work will show.

Olleh TV revealed the main poster of their upcoming drama!

 

Webtoon-based drama “Gaus Electronics” (literal title) is a comedy drama which will cover the struggles that all office workers can relate to as well as office romance and friendships.

 

In the new poster, all ten members of the third branch of the marketing department have gathered for a group photo. At the very center is Lee Sang Sik (Kwak Dong Yeon), who wears a subtle smile on his face as he tightly hugs the company rule book. He’s an extremely obtuse person who doesn’t shy away from speaking his mind when others, even his seniors, say things that don’t align with his views. He is a stickler for common sense, and because of his strong convictions in a reality where common sense doesn’t always work, he somehow becomes the center of conflict.

 

As the assistant manager who is always on top of her work, Cha Na Rae (Go Sung Hee) poses with a dazzling smile. Geon Gang Mi (Kang Min Ah), one of the prettiest employees at the office, wears a relaxed expression on her face, whereas Baek Ma Tan (Bae Hyun Sung) holds a white horse that befits his name, which means “knight in shining armor” in Korean.

 

More characters featured in the photo are Ki Sung Nam (Baek Hyun Jin), who always has mixed coffee he took from the office pantry in his jacket, Gi Sung Nam (Heo Jung Do), who carries a keyboard to work for games, and Cha Wa Wa (Jeon Suk Chan), who always takes care of his scalp due to losing hair every day. Sung Hyung Mi (Go Woori) has a piercing gaze that suits her role as the one who fixes all the problems. Kim Moon Hak (Baek Soo Jang) specializes in writing apologies, but in his heart, he’s a literary man. Last but not least, Na Moo Young (Jo Jung Chi) is more like an unidentified shadow who doesn’t stand out no matter what he does.

Webtoon-based comedy drama “Gaus Electronics” will cover the struggles that all office workers can relate to as well as office romance and friendships.

 

The 10 new character posters capture the unique personalities of everyone working in the third branch of Gaus Electronic’s marketing department.

 

First up is Kwak Dong Yeon as Lee Sang Sik, who shyly smiles as he keeps a tight grip on Gaus Electronic’s company rule book. Although a stickler for common sense, he’s an extremely obtuse person who doesn’t shy away from speaking his mind, which often puts him in the center of conflict.

 

Go Sung Hee plays his hot-blooded co-worker Cha Na Rae who is unable to regulate her anger. With a personality completely opposite of Lee Sang Sik, Cha Na Rae is always blowing up at him and the two are often found bickering.

 

 

The third poster features the serious Bae Hyun Sung as Baek Ma Tan, the wealthy heir of Gaus Electronics’ rival who has secretly joined the company. He gently pets a toy horse that befits his name, which means “knight in shining armor” in Korean.

 

Baek Ma Tan has a secret relationship with Geon Gang Mi, who is portrayed by Kang Min Ah. On a regular basis, Geon Gang Mi has a top-notch self-care routine, but the instant she drinks alcohol, she transforms into someone else with hidden super-strength.

She can accomplish every kind of difficult task and is the best person to talk to about tarot and face readings, horoscopes, real estate, hypnosis, and MBTIs.

“Gaus Electronics” (literal title) has released a new teaser highlighting the dramatic entrance and exit of their marketing team!

Webtoon-based comedy drama “Gaus Electronics” will cover the struggles that all office workers can relate to as well as office romance and friendships.

The new teaser features the catchy logo song of “Gaus Electronics” as their marketing team makes their grand entrance. Lee Sang Sik (Kwak Dong Yeon), Cha Na Rae (Go Sung Hee), Baek Ma Tan (Bae Hyun Sung), and Geon Gang Mi (Kang Min Ah) show off their best model walks as they strut into the office, previewing each character’s bold personality. The captions read, “Fun, touching emotion, joy, sorrow,” “Exactly that, webtoon-based,” and “Appreciation required right now.”

Inside the office already is Ki Sung Nam (Baek Hyun Jin), who worriedly looks around before shoving packets of mixed coffee into his sock. Webtoon-based comedy drama “Gaus Electronics” will cover the struggles that all office workers can relate to as well as office romance and friendships through the unique characters found in team three of the company’s marketing department. The drama stars Kwak Dong Yeon, Go Sung Hee, Bae Hyun Sung, Kang Min Ah, Baek Hyun Jin, Baek Soo Jang, Jo Jung Chi, Heo Jung Do, Jeon Suk Chan, and Go Woori.

 

The new “Welcome to Marketing Team Three” poster looks as if you opened the doors of their office, walked right in on the chaos, and locked eyes with the employees. There are balloons floating around everywhere, a heart-shaped garland, and various other party decorations scattered on the desks. What is most noticeable is the surprised expression of each character.

 

Holding a pen in one hand and busily typing with the other, Lee Sang Shik (Kwak Dong Yeon) looks flustered, making it clear that something serious had happened to him just moments before the door flung open. From his mouth you can see the phrase, “I’m curious about this company.” Right behind Lee Sang Shik is Cha Na Rae (Go Sung Hee), who holds a squishy toy above his head as she tries to swallow all the anger she has for him.

 

Baek Ma Tan (Bae Hyun Sung) appears carefree and magnificent as he sits comfortably in the chaos, holding onto a toy horse. On the other hand, the diligent Geon Gang Mi (Kang Min Ah) is busily preparing for the party as she climbs on top of a desk to set up balloons.

 

The coworkers around them appear just as confused, with Ki Sung Nam (Baek Hyun Jin) looking like he’s witnessed something extraordinary, Sung Hyung Mi (Go Woori) putting together an elaborate garland with a straight face, Kim Moon Hak (Baek Soo Jang) hunched over to read, and Cha Wa Wa (Jeon Suk Chan) shyly petting a chihuahua-shaped balloon.
