It looks like Namgoong Min rejected the offer. He plays another similar character in One Thousand Won Lawyer. It is alright. I am sure he will get many other offers after that drama.

I like to see Cha Seung Won in another drama. I am glad to hear that he was cast in Sacred Divorce.

Jung Moon-sung, cast in new drama 'Sacred Divorce'... Seung-Woo Cho X Sung-Kyun Kim and the Three Musketeers Chemie

YTHGGMP7F4PMFVTXURA43UH7MM.jpg

Actor Jung Moon-seong is cast in 'Sacred Divorce' to complete the trio with Cho Seung-woo and Kim Seong-gyun.

Jung Moon-sung will join the lead role in JTBC's new drama 'Sacred Divorce' (written by Yoo Young-ah, directed by Lee Jae-hoon), which is set to meet viewers in the first half of next year, 2023.

'Sacred Divorce' is a drama based on the popular webtoon of the same name, and actors Jo Seung-woo (Shin Seong-han), Han Hye-jin (Lee Seo-jin), and Kim Seong-gyun (Jang Hyeong-geun) have confirmed their appearances and are attracting attention as they build a dream lineup.

Jung Moon-seong takes on the role of Jo Jung-sik, a middle school friend of Shin Sung-han (Cho Seung-woo) and Jang Hyeong-geun (Kim Seong-gyun), the representative of Jo Jung-sik Real Estate. The experience point leader in this area that has never been done before, such as pubs, app development, land travel, and patent attorney exam preparation. However, after eating all of that splendid history, he is now experiencing firsthand that a real estate agent is his job.

He doesn't have the most eye-catching looks, but he's living the most glamorous single life of the trio. Here, the eloquence and strong ego that pours out like running water once it is shaken play a big role.

So, what kind of harmony is the character Jo Jung-sik, who is like a free spirit, among friends who have experienced a rather strange (?) life upheaval, such as Shin Sung-shin, who became a trot-loving lawyer from an artist who deals with classical music, and Jang Heung-geun, who became an office manager from a boss man. I wonder if it will be achieved. I am already looking forward to the synergy that Jung Moon-sung, who has brought life to the character, will meet with Jo Jung-sik.

As such, there is a lot of interest in 'divine divorce' with a solid cast of actors from Cho Seung-woo, Han Hye-jin, Kim Sung-kyun, and Jung Moon-seong. It makes me want to meet the stories of the three men who have grown from middle school students to their 40-year-old 'father' as soon as possible, as well as the friendship-like friendships of those who are going to solve the realities of life that are given to each of them.

The production team of 'Sacred Divorce' said, "Jo Jung-sik's character has a unique affinity that allows him to get along with anyone without flaws while possessing a plump personality. This bright and cheerful look is similar to that of actor Jung Moon-sung.” He added, “Please watch Jung Moon-sung’s new transformation, who will play the more attractive Jo Jung-sik role like a tailored suit.”

JTBC's new drama 'Sacred Divorce' will be broadcasted for the first time in the first half of 2023.

First look at Jo Seung-woo in JTBC’s Sacred Divorce

by tccolb

2023011301000800700094521.jpg

The first stills have been released for JTBC’s upcoming legal drama Sacred Divorce, showcasing our shaggy-haired lead Jo Seung-woo (Sisyphus). Based on a popular webtoon, the story follows our hero as he takes on wild divorce cases for his clients while trying to navigate his forties along with his two best friends.

Although he once enjoyed a culturally high-brow career as a classical pianist, the sensitive but free-spirited Shin Sung-han (Jo Seung-woo) suddenly needed a change. As he came into his mid-thirties, he decided to take up law instead and eventually opened a small law office, specializing in divorce.

Working as a divorce lawyer leads Sung-han to encounter the radio DJ Lee Seo-jin – who is played by Han Hye-jin (Let’s Hold Hands and Watch the Sunset). She used to be a weather reporter before she started working in radio and is currently in the process of getting divorced from her husband.

In the role of Jang Hyung-eun, Kim Sung-kyun (Grid) works with Sung-han as his office administrator. Having lost his previous job and now separated from the wife he thought he would be with forever, Hyung-geun has been feeling like he’s lost his way in life.

Rounding out the three-way bromance is Jung Moon-sung’s (One Dollar Lawyer) Jo Jung-shik. From developing apps to trekking across the country, there is no venture that Jung-shik hasn’t tried. But all that he achieved has now been wasted away and his new humbler calling is working as a real-estate agent.

Written by Yoo Young-ah (Thirty-Nine, Boyfriend) with PD Lee Jae-hoon (Run-On, Chief Kim) at the helm, JTBC’s Sacred Divorce premieres March 4, taking over the weekend slot following Agency.

The ramen shop is a regular place for three friends, Shin Sung, Jang Hyeong-geun (Kim Seong-kyun), and Jo Jung-sik (Jung Moon-seong), and their grandmother's ramen is their soul food. Kim So-yeon is in charge of the ramen shop for the time being in place of her mother who injured her back, and is a character who connects with her three friends. Among them, she has a special interest in one person. Kang Mal-geum, who has been loved for her acting that brings out her character's personality and charm, is expected to convey the emotional energy she will deliver through the character of Kim So-yeon.

The character played by Cha Hwa-yeon in the drama is Ma Geum-hee, the hostess of Daenam Electronics, a leading company in the domestic electronics industry. She was an in-law who was entangled in the sacred family, and the relationship is now over. Growing up as the only daughter in a wealthy family, she lived with a strong temper, and as she entered the twilight of her life, she faced a major inflection point. Ironically, at this inflection point, she is going to raise her doubts as the Divine is standing by her side. As a result, I am curious about Cha Hwa-yeon's splendid transformation, which will show a heavy performance that holds the center of gravity of her play.

Actor Jeon Bae-soo plays the role of lawyer Park Yoo-seok. She has a bright brain, but she is a selfish type who only knows herself, and there is always noise around her. He always keeps a close eye on Shin Sung, who runs a private office or a partner lawyer at a large law firm, Geumhwa Law Firm. For some reason, Park Yoo-seok's unwilling interest in the alternative divine is drawing attention to Park Yoo-seok's character, who will bring immersion into the play with Jeon Bae-soo's deep acting.

Han Eun-seong plays the role of Choi Joon, an intern lawyer at Geumhwa Law Firm. Choi Joon is a high-class man who graduated from law school with excellent grades and started his career at Geumhwa Law Firm. He is very interested in the lawyer Shin Sung, who is known as the lawyer-type BTS. You can't imagine that this curiosity would change his life in an instant. Attention is also drawn to the acting of Han Eun-seong, who expresses the character of Choi Jun, an unstoppable lawyer who is united with youthful spirit and curiosity in a humorous way.

'Sacred Divorce' is expected to bring more fun and sympathy to viewers this spring with the stories of characters with their own stories and similarities to our lives. First broadcast at 10:30 pm on March 4th.

More actors have joined the cast of JTBC’s highly-anticipated drama “Sacred Divorce” (literal translation)!

Based on the hit webtoon of the same name, “Sacred Divorce” will tell the story of a talented divorce lawyer punnily named Shin Sung Han (the word “shinsunghan” means “sacred” in Korean).

Cho Seung Woo, Han Hye Jin, Kim Sung Kyun, and Jung Moon Sung were all previously confirmed for the drama, and now Kang Mal Geum, Cha Hwa Yeon, Jeon Bae Soo, and Han Eun Sung (previously known as Han Jae Suk) have also joined the cast.

Kang Mal Geum will be taking on the role of Kim So Yeon, the youngest daughter of an elderly woman who owns a ramyeon restaurant. The three best friends Shin Sung Han (Cho Seung Woo), Jang Hyung Geun (Kim Sung Kyun), and Jo Jung Sik (Jung Moon Sung) are regulars at the restaurant and consider the grandmother’s ramyeon their soul food. Kim So Yeon becomes acquainted with the trio when she temporarily takes over the restaurant due to her mother’s back injury, and she also becomes especially interested in one of the three guys.

Cha Hwa Yeon will play Ma Geum Hee, the wife of the owner of Daenam Electronics, a leading company in the industry. Her and Shin Sung Han’s families used to be related by marriage. Having grown up as the only daughter of a wealthy family, Ma Geun Hee is a person with a fierce spirit who suddenly faces a big turning point in her late age.

Jeon Bae Soo has been cast in the role of lawyer Park Yoo Seok. Although he is smart, Park Yoo Seok’s selfish personality always causes him to clash with the people around him. Despite being a partner at major law firm, he always keeps a wary eye on Shin Sung Han, who runs his own private practice.

Lastly, Han Eun Sung will be playing Choi Joon, an intern lawyer at Park Yoo Seok’s law firm. Choi Joon graduated from law school with excellent grades before starting his career at the prestigious law firm. He has an immense curiosity and interest in Shin Sung Han, the so-called “BTS” of the lawyer world, and later on, this very interest is what ends up changing his life overnight. A promising lawyer with lots of spirit and massive curiosity, Choi Joon is a humorous and goofy character who will add fun to the drama.

“Sacred Divorce” is scheduled to premiere on March 4 at 10:30 p.m. KST.
