Character descriptions

Nam Haeng Sun (Jeon Do Yeon) is a former national athlete who belatedly enters the overheated education market for entrance exams. She is also the passionate boss of the National Representative Side Dish Shop. Despite being exhausted from life, Nam Haeng Sun is a tough character who stays firm, believes in her choices, and does not give excuses for them. However, she unexpectedly keeps getting entangled with Choi Chi Yeol after belatedly joining the private education market.

 

Choi Chi Yeol (Jung Kyung Ho) is a popular instructor who was born a genius and even has a hard-working personality. Not only does he have exceptional skills but he is also a great talker with extravagant showmanship, so he is overflowing with wealth and fame. However, the high price of fame is that he cannot relax for even a moment, so he has become prickly and indifferent around other people. After meeting the endlessly energetic and optimistic Nam Haeng Sun, the two will take part in a sweet and electrifying story.

Jeon Do Yeon positively reviewing the offer to star in a new tvN drama

Jeon Do Yeon will reportedly be the main lead of the upcoming tvN drama titled "One Shot Scandal." 

On March 15th several news outlets reported that Jeon Do Yeon has been picked to star in the upcoming tvN series "One Shot Scandal." 

Jeon Do Yeon's agency SOOP Entertainment shared their side. The agency revealed that Jeon Do Yeon is positively considering to star in the drama. 

"One Shot Scandal" will be the next collaboration of  director Yoo Jae Won and writer Yang Hee Seung who also worked for the dramas "Oh My Ghost" and "High School King of Savvy" 

If Jeon Do Yeon confirms her casting, this will be her comeback to tvN after six years. She last starred in the broadcast station for the 2016 drama "The Good Wife." 

There are no official details yet on when the "One Shot Scandal" will be released. The drama will exclusively air on tvN. 

 

It seems like Jeon Do Yeon will continually star in a drama yearly. Before, the actress had a long hiatus before she appear in a new drama. But if she accepted the offer to star in "One Shot Scandal" this will be her follow-up drama from last year's JTBC series "Lost" with Ryu Jun Yeol. 

At the beginning of 2022, Jeon Do Yeon starred in the movie "Emergency Declaration" with Song Kang Ho, Lee Byung Hun, Kim Nam Gil, ZE: A Im Si Wan, and Kim So Jin. The actress will also join the upcoming Netflix original film "Kill Bok Soon." She will be working with Sol Kyung Gu, Hwang Jung Min, Esom, and Koo Kyo Hwan in the film.

Jeon Do Yeon made her acting debut in 1990.

Jeon Do-yeon is considering a rom-com comeback. Management SOOP told Dispatch on the 16th that Jeon Do-yeon is considering the new tvN drama "One Shot Scandal".

"One Shot Scandal" is a romantic comedy written by Yang Hee-seung from tvN's "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha" and director Yoo Je-won. This is their third time working together.

If she confirms, Jeon Do-yeon will be coming back with a rom-com for the first time in 17 years. Jeon Do-yeon last appeared in the SBS TV drama "Lovers in Prague".

Jung Kyung-ho is considering her partner role. "One Shot Scandal" is expected to begin filming this summer. Broadcasting date is unknown.

On May 18th, as reported by Korean media outlet The Fact, it was officially announced that Jung Kyung Ho and Jeon Do Yeon will be starring in tvN’s new drama “One Shot Scandal.” The upcoming new drama will mark their first acting collaboration since their debut.

 

A New Korean Drama to be Directed and Written by Famous Director and Writer

Director Yoo Je Won and writer Yang Hee Seung will work together for the upcoming drama “One Shot Scandal.” Director Yoo Je Won is a famous director who directed a list of hit Korean dramas. Some of them are “Hometown Cha Cha Cha” (2021), “The King: Eternal Monarch” (2020), “Hi Bye Mama” (2020), and more.

On August 16th, it was confirmed that Lee Bong Ryun will be joining the upcoming tvN drama "Ilta Scandal." The series will air in the first half of 2023 and this will be the first drama project of the actress for next year. 

"Ilta Scandal" will depict the romance between a top private education instructor whose sensitive and indifferent to people and a new employee at the private education institution with a bright and positive personality.

Hwang Bo Ra to reportedly join the upcoming drama "Ilta Scandal"

Hwang Bo Ra is in talks to join the upcoming tvN drama "Ilta Scandal."

On August 25th, media outlet SPOTV News shared that Hwang Bo Ra will be joining the cast of the upcoming romantic comedy drama "Ilta Scandal." This will be her last drama before she ties the knot with her longtime boyfriend. 

"Ilta Scandal" will showcase the romance between a famous private education instructor and a new employee at the institution. The two have different personalities as the instructor is sensitive and prickly while the new employee has a positive personality.

The series will be directed by  Yoo Je Won ("Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha") and writer Yang Hee Seung ("Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo").  This will be their next work together after "Oh My Ghost" and "High School King of Savvy."

"Ilta Scandal" will be led by  Jung Kyung Ho, Jeon Do Yeon, Roh Yoon Seo, Shin Jae Ha, and Lee Bong Ryun. 

Hwang Bo Ra got the offer to play the role of a parent whose struggling at a private education institution. 

"Ilta Scandal" will premiere in the first half of next year. 

 

If Hwang Bo Ra confirms her casting, this will be her last drama project as a single woman. The series will be filmed before her marriage. 

For this year, Hwang Bo Ra already appeared in four dramas. She was part of the cast of the series "Kiss Sixth Sense" and "Miracle." She also made a special appearance in the dramas "The Secret House" and "A Business Proposal." 

The actress is set to marry her longtime boyfriend, actor, and CEO Kim Young Hoon this coming November. 

Hwang Bo Ra is known for being part of the dramas "Dali and the Cocky Prince," "Zombie Detective," "Hyena," "Vagabond," "What's Wrong with Secretary Kim," and more.
