All Korean sources seem to say everything about this drama is still kept in secret, but MDL not only has a synopsis but even some actors in the cast list haven't yet release news for their casting offer in this drama, like Yoon Hyun Min, Yoon Joo Hee, Kim Soo Mi, Ahn Nae Sang. They also already have the roles/characters names written.

The production team of SBS’s “The Escape of the Seven” (literal translation) has issued an official apology following complaints during filming.

 

Recently, it was reported that “The Escape of the Seven” team was issued fines by the District Office Administrative Support Bureau’s Parking Management Department after their prop car was reported for being parked illegally. Additionally, other filming cars, vans, and busses were said to have been parked in one lane, forcing passing vehicles to change lanes.

 

On December 5, production company Chorokbaem Media shared, “We apologize to all the citizens who were inconvenienced. We are now filming after taking action to make sure the same issue does not occur again. We will pay more attention so that we do not cause inconveniences in the future.”

 

“The Escape of the Seven” tells the story of seven people, who are involved in the case of a missing girl, facing a huge incident entangled with many lies and desires. The drama is the latest collaboration between writer Kim Soon Ok and director Joo Dong Min, who worked together on “The Last Empress” and “The Penthouse.” Leading the cast is Uhm Ki Joon, Lee Joon, Hwang Jung Eum, Yoon Jong Hoon, Lee Yoo Bi, Shin Eun Kyung, Jo Yoon Hee, Jo Jae Yoon, and Lee Deok Hwa.

SBS’s upcoming drama by the team behind “The Penthouse” has already been confirmed for a second season!

 

On February 24, a representative of SBS’s “The Escape of the Seven” (literal translation) confirmed, “‘The Escape of the Seven’ is currently preparing Season 2.”

 

“The Escape of the Seven” follows the story of seven characters involved in the disappearance of a young girl, who was tangled in a complicated web of lies and ambition.

 

The drama is the third joint project by scriptwriter Kim Soon Ok and director Joo Dong Min who previously worked together on “The Last Empress” and the hit “The Penthouse” series. Its cast includes Uhm Ki Joon, Hwang Jung Eum, Lee Joon, Lee Yoo Bi, Shin Eun Kyung, Yoon Jong Hoon, Jo Yoon Hee, Jo Jae Yoon, Lee Deok Hwa, and more.

 

Season 1 of “The Escape of the Seven” is slated to air later this year.

Upcoming SBS drama “7 Escape” has unveiled a new poster!

Uhm Ki Joon will star as Matthew Lee, the representative of Korea’s largest mobile platform company, Hwang Jung Eum will play Geum Ra Hee, a competent and daring head of a drama production company, Lee Joon will play Min Do Hyuk, a man living without dreams or hopes, Lee Yoo Bi will star as Han Mo Ne, a campus star and idol trainee with a fatal weakness, Shin Eun Kyung will take on the role of Cha Joo Ran, an obstetrician-gynecologist, Yoon Jong Hoon will play Yang Jin Mo, the CEO of an agency named Cherry Entertainment, Jo Yoon Hee will star as art teacher Go Myung Ji, and Jo Jae Yoon will play Nam Chul Woo, a detective at Deokseon Police Station.

The released poster depicts Matthew Lee as well as Geum Ra Hee, Min Do Hyuk, Han Mo Ne, Cha Joo Ran, Yang Jin Mo, Go Myung Ji, and Nam Chul Woo—seven people who survived by trampling on others, only to be hit with huge backlash at the highest point of their lives. The seven survivors are captured pushing each other in an attempt to escape as a heavy downpour threatens to drag them to the ground.

 

Matthew Lee is depicted with a cold facial expression looking down on the seven survivors while holding a chess piece.

 

Between the seven survivors’ desperate fight for survival and the fallen chess pieces in the bloody puddle that seems to allude to their fate, viewers can’t help but wonder what sins the seven survivors committed and whether they will be able to survive in the survival game devised to punish them.

 

 

The production team of “7 Escape” commented, “It’s a story about evil people who do not hide their desires. The seven people will stop at nothing to get what they want. Please look forward to what kind of survival instinct they will show when faced with retribution at the highest point of their lives built on lies.
