Actress Choi Soo-im has confirmed her appearance in SBS's new Monday-Tuesday drama 'Trolley'.

 

SBS 'Trolley' (directed by Kim Moon-gyo, written by Ryu Bo-ri) is a mystery dilemma melodrama that tells the story of the secret of the wife of a member of the National Assembly, who lived while hiding her past, is revealed to the world. Director Kim Moon-gyo, who participated in 'Stove League', 'Praise of Death' and 'Hongcheongi', and writer Bori Ryu, who wrote 'Do you like Brahms?

 

Choi Soo-im joined the role of ‘Choi Ja-young’ in the play. Choi Ja-young is interested in politics and dreams of legislative activities in the National Assembly in the future. After graduating from college, she applied to Nam Jung-do (Park Hee-soon)'s 9th grade administrative secretary and started her first life in Yeouido. Choi Soo-im is attracting the attention by foretelling her acting and performance that will add to her immersion as she breaks down into 'Choi Ja-young', who constantly dreams and challenges because she wants to become a politician.

 

Announcing the news of the casting of 'Trolley', Choi Soo-im said through her agency Management Romance, "It is an honor to be part of a good project. Kim Mi Kyung is the new addition to the cast of the upcoming SBS drama "Trolley."

"Trolley" will depict the trials a couple will encounter after their deepest secret gets unveiled to the public. The drama will revolve around a lawmaker's wife who hides a secret past.

The upcoming series will be led by Kim Hyun Joo, Park Hee Soon, Kim Mu Yeol, Jung Soo Bin, Ryu Hyun Kyung, and Ki Tae Young. Kim Mi Kyung is the new addition to the drama and she will work closely with Park Hee Soon's character. 

"Trolley" is the latest work of director Kim Moon Kyo and writer Ryu Bo Ri ("Do You Like Brahms?").

In the drama, Kim Mi Kyung will showcase a new side of her as a politician. This will be the fourth drama of Kim Mi Kyung for 2022. She starred in the series "Forecasting Love and Weather," "Welcome to Wedding Hell," and "Remarriage and Desires." All of her roles for 2022 were the mother of the main leads. This time, she will show her charisma through the series "Trolley."

"Trolley" is set to premiere this December. The series will exclusively premiere on SBS and it will be part of the Monday and Tuesday drama timeslot of the broadcast channel.

 

 

Kim Mi Kyung was confirmed to star in the drama "Trolley" through her agency on October 28th. 

Popeye Entertainment announced that the actress will be joining the cast and will play the role of a politician.

Kim Mi Kyung will portray the role of Woo Jin Suk, a judge turned parliamentary representative. She was the one responsible for nominating lawyer Nam Joong Do, Park Hee Soon's character to be a representative eight years ago.

However, when an unexpected accident occurs, a secret that Kim Hye Joo had been hiding for a long time rises to the surface, leading cracks to form in her once peaceful life. Suddenly caught in the middle of a crisis, Kim Hye Joo must tread dangerous waters as a catastrophe unfolds around her.

In the newly released poster, Kim Hye Joo stands at a crossroads that is enshrouded in fog—a striking visual depiction of the difficult and unknowable choices that lie ahead of her. Actor Myung-bin Choi has been cast in SBS' new Monday-Tuesday drama 'Trolley', announced on the 23rd by his agency, Plain TPC.

 

'Trolley' depicts the story of a member of the National Assembly member's wife who lived while hiding her past and what happens when the secret is revealed to the world.

 

Choi Myung-bin plays Nam Yoon-seo, the daughter of National Assembly member Joong-do (played by Park Hee-soon) and his wife Hye-joo (played by Kim Hyun-joo). Nam Yoon-seo is a so-called 'mother's daughter' character who adds her hard work to her natural brain that never misses the first place in her school.

 

Choi Myung-bin made her debut in Mnet's variety show 'Wicked' in 2016, and since then, she has appeared in KBS2 dramas 'Gentleman and Lady', 'Lance', and tvN's 'Twenty Five Twenty One'.

Presented with difficult choices and no right answer, the characters in “Trolley” will be swept up in a whirlwind of confusion and conflict.

The first official teaser for “Trolley” has been released!

“Trolley” is a new mystery romance drama about a politician’s wife who faces the biggest dilemma of her life after a secret she’s been hiding is unexpectedly revealed. Presented with difficult choices and no right answer, the characters in “Trolley” will be swept up in a whirlwind of confusion and conflict. Park Hee Soon will play politician Nam Joong Do, while Kim Hyun Joo will be taking on the role of his wife Kim Hye Joo.

The teaser starts off with Jang Woo Jae throwing a very difficult question at Nam Joong Do, asking, “If you had to choose between the world you dream of and your wife, which would you choose?”

The next scenes show the two reaffirming their love for one another with sweet words as they hold each other close, but the peace is short-lived. A mysterious woman asks Kim Hye Joo, “Does your husband know about your past?” Kim Hye Joo quickly deflects, demanding such things never be brought up again.

The scenes that flash by next are full of raw and intense emotions, mixing anger, sorrow, and despair, as another voice asks Nam Joon Do, “Do you still believe in your wife?”

“I trust you,” Nam Joong Do answers, tenderly holding his wife with sincerity shining deep in his eyes. “Because it’s you.”
