It’s a story about the employees of stock company’s cleaning up departments jumped into stock crimes when they overheard insider trading.

Character descriptions

 

Eo Yong Mi (Yum Jung Ah)  , Bested Investment Securities’ cleaner who is busy making a living as a cleaner during the weekdays and a housekeeper during the weekends. This is because she is a mother and the head of a household who has to raise her two precious daughters. She makes a crucial decision when she is faced with an opportunity after hearing insider trading information. Eo Young Mi who has stunning looks. Despite her shabby life, Eo Young Mi is a cleaner full of desire and elegance.

 

Ahn In Kyung (Jun So Min) is Eo Yong Mi’s coworker who is saving up money by cleaning in order to achieve her dream of setting up a moving café with a small food truck. She gets swept up in Yong Mi’s decision, but due to her timid and fearful personality, she often plays a role in putting the breaks on the sudden accelerations in the stock wars.

 

Meng Soo Ja (Kim Jae Hwa) is a cleaner who also dreams of finding success in life. She is friendly to the extent that it will only take her five minutes to convince a complete stranger to be on her side. However, she only uses her skills when they are necessary for her benefit. Although she is a deceptive character with many faces and even more schemes, she is a figure who cannot be left out of the three ladies’ stock operation.

 

Doo Young (Na In Woo) is a student renting a room at Eo Young Mi’s (Yum Jung Ah’s) house while in the process of getting his doctorate degree. He is a pure and nerdy character who is skilled with his hands and knowledgeable about machinery and electricity. Doo Young has a warmhearted disposition, so anyone who experiences his warmth will fiercely support him.

 

Lee Young Shin (Lee Moo Saeng) is considered to be an ideal man among women. He is romantic and sexy with a clean-cut face and gentle manner of speech, having everything desired from a romantic partner. Although Lee Young Shin works as an informant for a law firm, he is a character shrouded in mystery with his exact occupation being unknown.

 

Geum Jan-di (Jang Shin-young )is the audit team leader of Bested Investment & Securities. Geum Jan-di is walking on the road to success that others would envy, but she is always chased by money and lacks space in her heart. She investigates suspicious things happening within the securities company.

Jun So Min may be returning to the small screen with Yum Jung Ah and Yeom Hye Ran!

On July 28, Edaily news reported that Jun So Min would be starring in the remake of the British television series “Cleaning Up.” Following reports, a source from her agency King Kong by Starship stated, “Jun So Min has received an offer to star in ‘Cleaning Up,’ and she is positively reviewing the offer.”

Earlier in the month, JTBC news also reported that Yum Jung Ah and Yeom Hye Ran would also be starring in the remake of ITV’s “Cleaning Up.” On July 13, a source from Yum Jung Ah’s agency Artist Company clarified, “Yum Jung Ah has received an offer to star in ‘Cleaning Up.’ She’s currently focusing on filming for the movie ‘Smuggling’ (literal title).” Yeom Hye Ran’s agency Ace Factory similarly stated, “She has received an offer and is reviewing it.”

Jun So Min has been offered the role of a cleaner named Ahn In Kyung, while Yum Jung Ah is in talks to play a cleaner named Eo Young Mi who has stunning looks. Actress Jeon So-min (Big Data Romance) will be very busy between now and next year. First, she’ll be starring in upcoming KBS drama special, Hee-soo, where she will play a married couple with Park Sung-hoon (Memorials).

 

Written by Yeom Jae-yi and directed by Choi Sang-yeol, Hee-soo is part of a new movie-like series by KBS, which features four stories. Hee-soo will be a thriller about a couple with a daughter. On March 21st it was confirmed that Yeom Jung Ah, Jeon So Min, and Kim Jae Hwa, will be the main leads of the upcoming JTBC drama "Cleaning Up."

"Cleaning Up" will be directed by Yoon Sung Sik and written by Choi Kyung Mi. The upcoming drama will tell the story of cleaners at a security firm who happened to hear insider trading information and entered the world of stock war.

"Cleaning Up" will air in the first half of the year and it will exclusively air on JTBC. The series will have a total of 16 episodes with 1 hour duration each.
 

 

Yeom Jung Ah will play the role of Eo Yong Mi. She works at an investment securities firm as a service cleaner. I think they have already finished filming but they announce the casting news only now. I saw a teaser for this drama a long time ago. I don`t like this trend to announce late any information about dramas. It looks like Yeom Hye Ran did not accepted the offer and Kim Jae Hwa will play the role instead.

Jun So Min has been diagnosed with COVID-19 amidst filming for her upcoming drama “Cleaning Up.”

On March 22, Jun So Min’s agency King Kong by Starship officially announced, “Jun So Min has been diagnosed with COVID-19. She will be released from quarantine on January 24.”

The agency added, “[Jun So Min] previously received two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, and she does not have any particular symptoms at present.”

The actress is currently in the midst of filming the upcoming JTBC drama “Cleaning Up,” a Korean remake of the British television series of the same name. She will resume filming for the drama, which will also star Na In Woo, Yum Jung Ah, Lee Moo Saeng, and Kim Jae Hwa, following the end of her mandatory quarantine period.

According to King Kong by Starship, Jun So Min’s COVID-19 diagnosis will not affect her filming schedule for SBS’s “Running Man.”

Actor Kim Tae-woo confirmed his appearance in 'Cleaning Up'.

JTBC's new Saturday and Sunday drama 'Cleaning Up' (directed by Yoon Seong-sik, written by Choi Kyung-mi) draws on the unpredictable life limit challenge of the sisters of a brokerage housekeeper who jumped into a stock war with insider trading information that they accidentally heard.

 

Kim Tae-woo takes on the role of Jin Seong-woo, the ex-husband of Eo Yong-mi (Yeom Jeong-ah) in the play. After the divorce, unable to withstand a difficult marriage, he struggles to bring the two children from Yong-mi. The voice actor who doesn't like the look, but feels pity on the other hand, plans to add richness to the play by drawing the complicated emotional line of ex-husband.

Kim In-kwon joins JTBC drama 'Cleaning Up'

 

 

IOK Company announced on the April 5th that its actor Kim In-kwon will join JTBC's new Saturday drama 'Cleaning Up'.

 

'Cleaning Up' is a work that tells the story of three security guards who jumped into stocks, starring Jung-ah Yeom, So-min Jeon, and Jae-hwa Kim. Kim In-kwon plays Cheon Deok-gyu, the manager of a cleaning service company who oversees them. It is scheduled to air in the first half of this year.

JTBC’s upcoming drama “Cleaning Up” has unveiled its first poster!

A remake of the British television series of the same name, “Cleaning Up” will tell the story of three cleaners at a securities firm that attempt to forge a new destiny for themselves after accidentally overhearing some key information about insider trading.

In what marks her first drama role since starring in the hit series “SKY Castle,” Yum Jung Ah will be playing Eo Yong Mi, the hardworking mother of two young daughters, who bears a huge sense of responsibility as her family’s breadwinner. Jun So Min will star as Eo Yong Mi’s younger co-worker Ahn In Kyung, who is working towards her dream of saving up enough money to open her own moving café with a food truck, while Kim Jae Hwa will play Meng Soo Ja, a resourceful and deceptively charming cleaner who can befriend anyone who might be of use to her.

The newly released poster hints at the three women’s dangerous ambitions as they plunge headfirst into the dark world of insider trading. As they aim a vacuum cleaner at a pile of cash, the caption playfully reads, “With the skills they used to sweep the floor, they’ll be sweeping up every last bit of stock info.”

 

The producers of “Cleaning Up” teased, “This June, cleaners Yong Mi, In Kyung, and Soo Ja will use their know-how from sweeping floors to hatch a scheme to change their lives. With a toilet plunger in one hand as their spear and desperation in the other hand as their shield, the three women will jump into a stock war that no one can predict. Please look forward to finding out if they will be able to hit the upper limit price of life.”

“Cleaning Up” will premiere in June, taking over the time slot currently occupied by “My Liberation Notes.”

Because I like the past works of the writer plus I see my ajusshi crush KTW , then child actor Gal So Won is grown up but still in tween stage.  Then Na In Woo. Plus  Mature actors can also be leads

 

Stock trading manipulation and trying to do something about this.. kinda not into the plot but gonna watch this for the above reasons.
