Character descriptions

Ha Woo Shin (Ji Sung) is one is a best-selling mystery novel author .

 

Song Soo Hyun (Ji Sung) is a prosecutor who works at the Central District Prosecutor’s office.

Upcoming drama “Adamas” (working title) has confirmed its cast!

On January 19, it was announced that Ji Sung, Seo Ji Hye, and Lee Soo Kyung will be starring in the tvN drama “Adamas.”

“Adamas” depicts the story of twin brothers uncovering the truth from an incident 22 years ago. They will fight against great evil in order to clear the murder charges of their biological father who was accused of killing their stepfather.

In the drama, the twins face the shocking fact that the culprit who killed their stepfather is their biological father. However, after hearing that their father, who is about to face the death penalty, was falsely accused, they chase after the truth and dig into many secrets that is concealed by huge power.

First off, Ji Sung, the epitome of a trusted actor, is set to play both twins. One is a best-selling mystery novel author named Ha Woo Shin, and the other is a prosecutor named Song Soo Hyun who works at the Central District Prosecutor’s office. Ji Sung will expressive the narrative of the two brothers caught up in a turbulent fate.

Although Ha Woo Shin and Song Soo Hyun look alike, their personalities and approaches to problems are completely different, and they will try to solve their father’s case with contrasting perspectives. Ji Sung, Seo Ji-Hye, and Lee Soo-Kyung are cast in tvN drama series “Adamas” (working title). Ji Sung will play twin brothers in the drama series. The original mystery-themed screenplay will have the twin brothers learning that their birth father was framed for murdering their step-father. Seo Ji-Hye will play Eun Hye-Soo. Ha Woo-Shin is a best-selling, mystery novelist and Song Soo-Hyun is a prosecutor at the Central District Prosecutors’ Office. 22 years ago, when they were children, their step-father was killed. Now, they discover that their birth father is the person that killed their step-father and he received the death sentence.

Ha Woo-Shin and Song Soo-Hyun soon learn that their birth father was framed for their step-father’s murder and they chase after truth. Upcoming tvN drama "Adamas" confirms its main leads!

On January 19th, it was confirmed that Ji Sung, Seo Ji Hye, and Lee Soo Kyung will be the main leads for the upcoming thriller mystery drama "Adamas."

"Adamas" will be directed by Park Seung Woo ("Kairos") and written by Choi Tae Gang. The drama will be produced by Studio Dragon and Mace Entertainment. It will depict the story of twin brothers who will try to unfold the secret behind their father's death 20 years ago. As they find the "Adamas," the weapon used in the murder that disappears, they will begin to catch the real murderer.

Ji Sung will play a double role. he will be the twin brothers named Wooshin ( best-selling mystery writer) and Su Hyun (prosecutor from Central District Prosecutors' Office).

Seo Ji Hye will play the role of Eun Hye Soo, the wife of the eldest son, Wooshin. She is also the only daughter of the hospital director. 

Lee Soo Kyung will play the role of Kim Seo Hee, a reporter at TNN's social affairs department and the sister of the twin brothers. 

"Adamas" will premiere in the second half of 2022. It will exclusively air on tvN. 

 

 

This will be Ji Sung's follow-up drama after the 2021 tvN drama "The Devil Judge" with Kim Min Jung, GOT7 Park Jin Young, Park Gyu Young, Jeon Chae Eun, and Rainbow's Kim Jae Kyung. The actor is known for being the main lead of "Doctor John," "Familiar Wife," "Defendant," "Kill Me, Heal Me," and more. 

Seo Ji Hye is set to star in several upcoming dramas such as "Sixth Sense Kiss," "Younger," and the newly confirmed drama "Adamas."

Meanwhile, this drama will be Lee Soo Kyung's follow-up drama after "Law School" with Kim Myung Min, Kim Bum, Ryu Hye Young, Lee Jung Eun, and Lee David.

South Korean actors Ji Sung, Seo Ji-hye and more have join the cast of an upcoming thriller K-drama series Adamas (tentative title).

Korean cable network tvN announced yesterday (January 19) that veteran actors Ji Sung (The Devil Judge, Doctor John), Seo Ji-hye (Dr. Brain, Crash Landing On You) as well as Lee Soo-kyung (Law School, Reply 1988) have joined the forthcoming K-drama series. Filming for the series is said to begin soon, per The Korea Times. 

According to tvN’s statement, Adamas will revolve around two twin brothers who are hellbent on uncovering the truth behind the murder charges made against their biological father, who had been accused of killing their stepfather 22 years ago, in order to save him from his impending death penalty.

 

Ji Sung is set to play both twins, one of whom is a best-selling mystery novelist named Ha Woo-shin, while the other is a prosecutor under the the Central District Prosecutor’s office named Song Soo-hyun.

Meanwhile, Seo will be playing Eun Hye-soo, Ha Woo-shin’s secret partner-in-crime, while Lee will be portraying a social media reporter who goes by Kim Seo-hee, a righteous reporter who abides by social justice, but is revealed to be withholding secrets from the brothers about their father’s case.
