It's just that Heechul hasn't been really active over the past 2+ years... he was in the army for 2 years and since he got out in September, he really hasn't done much other than "War of Words" which isn't really translated for international fans to discuss.  He's really only appeared on 2 variety shows and both were very brief.  Once he gets back to the swing of things, I'm sure he will be back to his old self.  Right now, I think he's still trying to adjust.

I just saw a preview for next week's "Superman has returned" and Heechul along with Kangin are going to go over to Lee Hwee Jae's house to help babysit the twins

Heechul has been confirmed as a cast member of the TvN comic drama "Grandpas Over Flower Investigative Unit" along with veteran actor Lee Soon Jae. The drama is about a group of elderly gentlemen led by Lee Soon Jae who's had a hidden colorful past, but who currently owns a delivery service, and a young cop who is an oddball, but has a heart of gold (Heechul's role).

Heechul is going to be the first guest on MBC's chinese program "OohSangBonSek (우상본색)" which translates to "Idol True Colors"on March 15 at 10pm via Youku Tudou.  The show will be aired weekly via the internet Youku Tudou, YouTube, and Pooq and also MBC Music Channel.  It's hosted by Super Junior M's Jomi, Miss A's Jia and Fei.

More details are out for Heechul's new TvN comic drama "Grandpas Over Flower Investigative Unit."  So it turns out that the 3 men in their 70's turned that way overnight and the 3 men along with Heechul, as the 20-something elite cop named Park Jung Woo, start an investigation to return them back to their old selves.  Lee Soon Jae's young self is going to be portrayed by Choi Jin Hyuk in a cameo.  They said that it's not your regular drama format, but rather a combination variety-drama, whatever that means.  The first episode will air April 30 at 11pm.
