Lee Jin-wook and Lee Yeon-hee are newly engaged in Kakao TV’s new rom-com

by tccolb

4ZByJ_2f.jpg

Actress Lee Yeon-hee (SF8) is making a drama comeback playing opposite Lee Jin-wook (Bulgasal: Immortal Souls) in Kakao TV’s upcoming rom-com Marriage Papers (roughly translated).

The drama is about a couple in their 30’s, who recently got engaged after two years of dating. Like a fairy tale, they had envisioned marriage as the happy resolution to all of their troubles, but they quickly come face-to-face with the real world once the actual wedding preparations begin. From the meeting of the parents to finding a place to live, the story follows the couple’s growth as they tackle each new hurdle.

Lee Jin-wook takes on the role of Seo Joon-hyung, the seemingly perfect boyfriend who’s honest about his feelings and likes to think positively. Having grown up with a loving family in a comfortable home, he didn’t have many struggles in life and has an innocent character that can come across as naive or immature. But he always tries to be considerate and understanding of others, and has a playful sense of humor.

Lee Yeon-hee plays girlfriend Kim Na-eun, who has all the perfect traits on paper as well. Being pragmatic, she keeps clear boundaries and is competent in her work and responsibilities. Although she has her introspective moments and can sometimes get lost in her own thoughts, she ultimately has a big heart for people and has a happy personality.

On the production side, directing will be done collaboratively by PD Song Je-young (The Great Shaman Ga Doo-shim) and PD Seo Joo-wan (Damn Good Company) with scripts penned by Choi Yi-rang (My Country Calls, Tamra the Island). Filming for Kakao TV’s Marriage Papers has already begun and the drama will be releasing sometime this year.

'Marriage White Paper' Lee Jin-wook X Lee Yeon-hee met as a prospective couple in reality 'Gyeonggong'

PS22042100043.jpg

Kakao TV's original 'Marriage White Paper' revealed a script practice scene with a delightful chemistry.

Kakao TV's original 'Marriage White Paper' (directed by Song Je-young, Seo Joo-wan, written by Choi Yi-rang, planned by Kakao Entertainment, produced by Mace Entertainment, a total of 12 episodes), which will be released for the first time in May, is a couple in their 30s who seemed to be the beginning of happiness after suffering like a happy ending in a fairy tale. It is a realistic sympathetic romance that unfolds in the process of preparing for marriage. It contains various episodes that prospective couples living in Korea might have thought about at least once, from the wedding ceremony to preparing for the wedding, to finding a newlywed house.

The script practice site, which was released on the 21st, was attended by directors Song Je-young and Seo Joo-wan, as well as major cast members including Lee Jin-wook, Lee Yeon-hee, Song Jin-woo, Hwang Seung-eon, Kim Joo-yeon, Kim Mi-kyung, Lim Ha-ryong, Yun Yu-seon, and Gil Yong-woo. It is said that the scene became so hot that it was hard to tell whether it was real or acting as the vivid acting of the actors, who were proved by filmography, was added to the wedding preparation story that everyone strongly sympathizes with.

First, Jinwook Lee, who captured the hearts of women as a sweet guy in the drama ‘I Need Romance 2012’ and the movie ‘Beauty Inside’ and ‘Happy New Year’, announced the return of a romance master. He took on the role of Seo Jun-hyung, a marriage idealist who only thinks about love and Yerang (pre-groom), clearly demonstrating the side of a passionate love lover. Lovely aegyo and Lee Jin-wook's signature 'killing smile' colored the scene with romantic energy. But this time, a realistic character with a different texture was added. He is going to scratch the insides of the bride-to-be with the somewhat immature (?) everything that exists behind the romantic guy.

Unlike Yerangi, Lee Yeon-hee, who plays the role of ‘Kim Na-eun’, a realist in marriage and Ye-shin-i, who requires a rational choice, held Jun-hyung firmly with her snappy acting. Lee Yeon-hee, who shook her man's heart as a goddess of unchanging innocence in various works until now, plans to show realistically the appearance of a 'mother daughter', who has a lot of laughter and a lot of laughter this time, but in work and marriage. In particular, in the scene of a conflict with Jun-hyung, who pursues her ideals, the tone of her lines and even her facial expressions change dramatically.

While preparing for marriage, facing a reality different from the ideal, and the emotions that change every minute as a result, it was the real chemistry between the two that drew attention. Lee Jin-wook, who said, “I like a one-time wedding, a grand and stylish hotel wedding,” and Lee Yeon-hee, who said, “It’s okay if the transportation is convenient, the food is delicious, and the hall is just right,” expressed the differences of opinion experienced by the prospective couple. Lee Jin-wook said, "There are parts that I only imagined, but this is not a very complicated and easy problem," said Lee Yeon-hee.

As marriage is a family-family union, the hyper reality doubled when Junhyung and Naeun's mom and dad appeared on the field. This is because Im Ha-ryong as ‘Kim Soo-chan’, Naeun’s parents, Kim Mi-kyung as ‘Lee Dal-young’, and Gil Yong-woo as ‘Seo Jong-su’, Jun-hyung’s parents, and Yoon Yu-seon as ‘Park Mi-sook’ reproduced a nerve war. In particular, Yun Yu-sun's 'Mother's War', in which Mi-kyung Kim, who speaks in a soft but strong tone, responds with soft but bone-like words, gives sympathy.

In addition, Jin-woo Song as Jun-hyung's best friend and thirsty for a new love 'Jang Min-woo', Hwang Seung-eon as 'Choi Hee-sun', a dolsing and Naeun's company senior who is liberated from love and marriage, 'Lee Su-yeon', the company junior of Na-eun who can't hold back what he wants to say. Kim Joo-yeon of the station heralded another real romance.

The production team said, “The beauty of ‘Marriage White Paper’ is that it is full of episodes that anyone who has been married, is preparing, or dreams of doing this in the future can relate to it. Actors immersed in this script breathe life into each character, maximizing the reality. “It felt as if we were actually married,” he said, “I ask for your anticipation and interest in the ‘Marriage White Paper’ to see if Jun-hyung and Na-eun can go through all these processes to achieve a ‘good’ marriage.” he asked.

Kakao TV's original 'Marriage White Paper' is produced as a 12-episode mid-form drama lasting about 30 minutes each episode. It will be released on Kakao TV in May.

Lee Jin-wook and Lee Yeon-hee's 'Marriage White Paper'... Reality-sympathetic romance of a prospective couple in their 30s

There is a saying, “Marriage is when six people sleep in one bed”. This is because the setting of the relationship between the couple and the parents of both families affects the direction of the marriage.

When dating, only two people need to be good, but as they prepare for marriage, conflict begins. If there are marital conflicts that occur after marriage, there are also conflicts between prospective couples that occur before marriage.

Kakao TV's original 'Marriage White Paper' (directed by Song Je-young, Seo Joo-wan, and written by Choi Yi-rang) released the script practice site on the 21st.

'Marriage White Paper' is a realistic sympathetic romance that unfolds during the marriage preparation process of a couple in their 30s, who seemed to be the beginning of happiness after hardship, like a happy ending in a fairy tale. It contains various episodes that prospective couples living in Korea might have thought about at least once, from the wedding ceremony to preparing for the wedding, to finding a newlywed house.

In addition to director Song Je-young and Seo Joo-wan, major cast members including Lee Jin-wook, Lee Yeon-hee, Song Jin-woo, Hwang Seung-eon, Kim Joo-yeon, Kim Mi-kyung, Im Ha-ryong, Yoon Yu-seon, and Gil Yong-woo attended the site. 'Marriage White Paper' Lee Jin-wook announced the return of a romance master.

On the 25th, Kakao TV's original 'Marriage White Paper' (played by Choi Rang/Directed by Song Je-young, Seo Joo-wan) released a still-cut of Lee Jin-wook, who plays the role of Seo Jun-hyung, the bride-to-be who goes straight ahead after seeing only love.

'Marriage White Paper' is a realistic sympathetic romance that unfolds in the process of marriage preparation for a couple in their 30s, who seemed to be the beginning of happiness after hardship, like a happy ending in a fairy tale.

Seo Jun-hyung is a pleasant and positive person who passed high-pass from a good university to a public corporation called God's workplace. He is honest and cool in love. Most of all, he is an ardent lover who listens to anything his girlfriend says.

The still cut released on this day contains Seo Jun-hyung's smile, who blossomed thinking of his girlfriend even in an ordinary day. From a clean and dandy style to a romantic look that makes you feel like falling in love right away, you will have exciting expectations of what it will be like to prepare for marriage with a man who has everything like this.

The problem is that marriage is a reality, not a fairy tale. 'Marriage White Paper' dynamically unfolds various episodes that any prospective couple can ponder, from the wedding ceremony to preparing for the wedding, to finding a newlywed house. Seo Jun-hyung is a marriage idealist with a different background from Kim Na-eun (Lee Yeon-hee), a savage realist bride who requires a rational choice.

'Innocent goddess' Lee Yeon-hee transforms into a smart 'Yesin-i'... Appeared in 'Marriage White Paper'

On the 26th, Kakao TV released three still cuts of Lee Yeon-hee, who transformed into a lovely 'Yesin-i' (pre-bride) in the original content 'Marriage White Paper'. In this work, Lee Yeon-hee transforms into the role of Naeun, a pre-bride who wears hyper reality clothes.

Kakao TV's original 'Marriage White Paper' (played by Choi Yi-Rang, directed by Song Je-Young, and Seo Joo-Wan) is a sympathetic romance that depicts the frustrating reality of a couple in their 30s, who seemed to be the beginning of happiness after hard work, like a happy ending in a fairy tale. Lee Yeon-hee takes on the role of Kim Na-eun, a savvy realist who thinks that a rational choice is the best.

Naeun is a person who has grown up step by step following the 'Umm-Daughter' course that all her parents envy, from graduating from a well-to-do college to getting a job in a large company and being promoted. Naeun, who faces reality rather than her ideals, is clearly revealed in the preparations for marriage with her boyfriend, Seo Jun-hyeong (Lee Jin-wook), whom she has been dating for two years. She is an idealist who only needs one love, and it was always better to put the brakes on Junhyung, a YOLO member who has a lot of things to do.

The still cut released on this day contains the figure of Naeun who catches the eye with a lovely smile. The point to watch is whether Na-eun can wisely solve her realistic problems and make a wedding march safely with Jun-hyung.

The production team said, "Lee Yeon-hee put a real realistic performance into the process of reconciliation and conflicts experienced by prospective couples. will captivate viewers with the empathy that makes them nod their heads violently, regardless of gender."

'Marriage White Paper' is a 12-episode mid-form drama lasting about 30 minutes each episode, and will be released on Kakao TV in May.

KakaoTV’s upcoming drama “Marriage White Paper” (literal title) shared new previews of Lee Jin Wook and Lee Yeon Hee!

“Marriage White Paper” is a relatable romance drama about a couple in their 30s preparing for marriage. While they were expecting a happy ending like something out of a fairy tale, the reality of their preparations proves to be somewhat different. From the meeting between the families to marriage preparations and finding a house, the soon-to-be married couple will deal with very realistic topics.

Lee Jin Wook will be starring as Seo Joon Hyung, the smitten groom-to-be who is happy to yield to his fiancée’s every command. He is honest in the face of love, and he also has an optimistic personality. The newly released stills capture him smiling in moments of his everyday life as he lovingly thinks of his girlfriend. Sporting a dandy and clean-cut style, Seo Joon Hyung appears to be the perfect image of a romantic boyfriend.

However, the couple will face unexpected difficulties in the planning stages of their marriage since they have contrasting opinions. Seo Joon Hyung is an idealist when it comes to marriage, while his fiancée is more of a practical realist. Although Seo Joon Hyung is somewhat immature with his happy-go-lucky attitude, he will charm his girlfriend with his positive and refreshing energy, making viewers curious to see if Seo Joon Hyung will mature into a reliable husband.
