The new poster continues to frame Lee Eun Soo and Han Sun Woo’s relationship as one of ambivalence. The two have been friends for many years but romantic feelings have begun to blossom within each of their hearts. The background of the poster is drawn in the style of an illustration from a book. The real images of the two characters themselves are placed in the picture, and both are writing something down in a notebook. Neither character looks at the other, but they both seem comfortable enjoying the other’s presence while working individually. Park Hyung Sik and Han So Hee‘s upcoming drama “Soundtrack #1” has released a new OST song by NCT’s Doyoung!

Helmed by director Kim Hee Won of “Vincenzo” and “The Crowned Clown,” “Soundtrack #1” is a music romance drama staring Park Hyung Sik and Han So Hee as a man and woman who have been friends for 20 years. When the longtime friends wind up living together for two weeks, they slowly begin to realize their feelings for one another.

In contrast to most Korean dramas, “Soundtrack #1” has been steadily releasing songs from its soundtrack before its premiere—and on February 22, the show released its latest track “A Little More,” an emotional ballad sung by Doyoung.

Park Hyung-shik and Han So-hee contemplate love and friendship in Disney+’s Soundtrack #1

Disney+’s upcoming drama Soundtrack #1 has released new posters and a set of character teasers. In a story about music and romance, Park Hyung-shik (Happiness) and Han So-hee (My Name) play two close friends who have known each other since childhood.

As these things go in dramaland, Park and Han end up living together for two weeks, and this leads them to realize there might be something more between them than friendship.

 

The first teaser is from the perspective of Park Hyung-shik’s character, photographer Han Sun-woo. Approaching his camera, Park tells Han So-hee that he’s taking the photo and Han asks afterwards, “Did I come out pretty?” Park responds nonchalantly, “You look the way you look,” and Han grabs him to demand, “Look properly before you answer.”

 

The teaser then cuts to Park Hyung-shik noticing Han So-hee through the window, and he takes a photo of her as she works. In the sequence that follows, Park stares at Han’s photo on his computer, smiles as she tries to win a doll, and wraps a scarf around her neck when it’s cold. We hear their conversation in voiceover with Han saying, “Tell me, then, why you can’t confess your feelings.” Park explains, “It’s not that I can’t. I’m choosing not to.” She then asks, “Because you might get rejected?” And he replies, “It’s not because I might get rejected. It’s because I might lose them.”

We then jump to Park Hyung-shik happening to see Han So-hee having dinner with a man, and on the text screen we read, “Since when did it become love.” The teaser comes to a close with Park watching Han walk away and he remarks, “If that’s Eun-soo’s heart, then I truly and sincerely support her.”

 

 

The second teaser takes Han So-hee’s perspective — she plays a freelance lyricist named Lee Eun-soo. Han admires the falling snow and asks Park Hyung-shik if he knows anything about unrequited love. Unamused, Park asks, “Were your lyrics rejected this time as well?” and we flashback to Han So-hee getting desperate and pleading with a man. Returning to the present, an upset Han slams the table, “I’m so frustrated! Is a crush such a big deal?! Why do I have to feel hurt and sad?” Dejected, she leans her head on Park and he says, “You’re sad because there’s nothing you can do about it.”

The teaser then cuts to Han So-hee working hard as she listens to music and scribbles down notes. Going through her notebooks afterwards, Han comes across an old photo of herself and Park Hyung-shik. Her face becomes thoughtful as she notices the devil horns drawn on Park’s head, which are accompanied by the word “dummy.” Jumping briefly to a text screen that reads, “Are we friends or are we in love,” we return to Han So-hee who sits with Park at a desk. The teaser ends with her question to him: “Do you want to stay with me for two weeks?”

Han So Hee will be starring as Lee Eun Soo, a fun and honest lyricist who isn’t afraid to speak her mind. Although Han Sun Woo has feelings for Lee Eun Soo, he is hesitant to make a move because he doesn’t want to risk destroying their longtime friendship.

In the newly released teaser, Lee Eun Soo asks Han Sun Woo why he can’t confess his feelings to the person he likes, and he replies, “It’s not that I can’t, it’s that I choose not to.” She responds by asking, “Because you’re scared of getting rejected?” He answers, “Not because I’m scared of getting rejected, but because I’m scared of losing her.”

"Soundtrack #1" releases first official trailer and sets official air date!

The long wait is over, "Soundtrack #1" will officially air on March 23, 2022!

The upcoming Disney+ drama "Soundtrack #1" starring Park Hyung Sik and Han So Hee will premiere its first episode on March 23rd. The first official trailer featuring the two main leads was also released. 

On March 4th, Disney+ released a 15-second video teaser of the drama showcasing a conversation of two longtime friends asking about why they can't confess their feelings to the person they like. Then Han So Hee's character begins asking, "Do you want to stay with me for two weeks?" The caption on the video then writes, "Are we just friends or is this love?" 

"Soundtrack #1" is a romance music drama that will revolve around two people who have been best friends for over two years. Within the two weeks that they decided to live together, they will realize whether their true feelings are just friendship or romantic love. 

The drama will be directed by Kim Hee Won ( "Vincenzo" and "The Crowned Clown") and written by  Chae Yoon ("She Would Never Know").

Park Hyung Sik will bring life to the character Han Sun Woo, a rookie photographer with good looks and a great personality. Han So Hee will play the role of a music lyricist named Lee Eun Soo who is honest and open about her feelings. 

Aside from Park Hyung Sik and Han So Hee, Lee Jung Eun and Kim Joo Heon will also star in the upcoming series. 

Because the genre of the series is romance and music, the OSTs of "Soundtrack #1" are sung by popular OST superstar singers including Super Junior's Cho Kyu Hyun, Park Bo Ram, Davichi, Kim Jong Kook, Standing Egg, and NCT's Kim Do Young,.

"Soundtrack #1" will start airing its first episode on March 23rd. It will have four episodes with 30 minutes duration each. It will exclusively air on Disney+.

Han Sun Woo comes to Lee Eun Soo’s house and rings the doorbell. Lee Eun Soo opens the door as Han Sun Woo questions, “Why did you open the door so late?” Once inside, Han Sun Woo remarks, “I’ll help you. You need me.” Lee Eun Soo starts to clap and says, “Welcome, assistant!” Han Sun Woo starts clapping along and excitedly stands up from the couch.

The teaser asks the question, “Are we friends or lovers?” as scenes of Han Sun Woo gazing at Lee Eun Soo and their hands inching closer towards each other appear on screen. An older woman’s voice narrates, “Sun Woo, you have someone you like, right?” before another woman introduces herself to Lee Eun Soo as Kim Seo Yeon. Kim Seo Yeon pushes Sun Woo playfully as she says, “What’s wrong with my first impression?”

Lee Eun Soo begins to question her feelings as she attends a tarot reading, and the reader flips a card and says, “A new opportunity.” She goes to dinner with her friend and says, “What’s more is that Tae Yoon said he has to work with me.” While Lee Eun Soo says this, Han Sun Woo comes across Lee Eun Soo eating dinner with another man.

The text on screen reads, “Can we love each other?” Lee Eun Soo questions her feelings for Han Sun Woo as she sits alone in the darkness next to a window. She narrates, “Sun Woo? Not him. We need to be friends for the rest of our lives if we want to live like this without breaking up until death.” Han Sun Woo’s voice intertwines with Lee Eun Soo’s and says, “If that’s what Eun Soo wants, I will really support her sincerely.” At the end of the trailer, the two characters stand side by side at a bus stop as Han Sun Woo loudly says, “Have fun. “Soundtrack #1” has shared a new sneak peek of Han So Hee in her starring role!

Helmed by director Kim Hee Won of “Vincenzo” and “The Crowned Clown,” “Soundtrack #1” is a music romance drama about a man and woman who have been friends for 20 years and wind up living together for two weeks.

Park Hyung Sik will star in the drama as Han Sun Woo, a photographer who is a man of few words but has a warm and caring personality. Han So Hee will star as Lee Eun Soo, a fun and honest lyricist who isn’t afraid to speak her mind. Although Han Sun Woo has feelings for Lee Eun Soo, he is hesitant to make a move because he doesn’t want to risk destroying their longtime friendship.

In newly released stills from the upcoming drama, Han So Hee exudes a warm, sunny energy as the bubbly and vivacious Lee Eun Soo. When she strikes a cute pose with a stuffed toy while looking at Han Sun Woo, it’s not hard to see why he might have fallen for her.

 

The producers of “Soundtrack #1” remarked, “Han So Hee is portraying the cheerful and honest character of Lee Eun Soo in a lovable way through her bubbly acting.
