Another one that I found purely by luck since the clue sounded like Meteor Garden, and a quick search on Google revealed a 2021 Thai remake  Thankfully only 2 pages to comb through to find the correct post!

 

Christmas date? Just one where the whole family is together would be perfect after a separation of almost 2 years.

i dropped both japanese and korean versions, but for the heck of it may check out the thai version to see if it's better somehow.

Hmm... hypothetically, if I were to go on a winter date... sledding/inner tubing... always wanted to do both, but never have so far. Or more likely, it would just be a family date, maybe take my sister(s) and brother if he wants to go.

Based on a Japanese manga and show,

it's been remade in Taiwan, China and Korea though.
But now we wait for a new version to air,

When I read about 4 boys and multiple remakes I thought of Boys Over Flower and when I saw the picture in the first page I saw curls. I am sure it is this drama.

 

I did not see many pictures from this drama or read about this drama. It is the first time I see this picture LOL

 

 

But to find the page...

Thanks for the extra clue. I was curious about the drama. I did not like to be/remain  totally clueless.

 

 

 

 

Edit. I found it. I could not do it without the extra hint.

I looked if there is a new remake in the works and I found out that there is one. Geez. How many remakes this drama needs?

Ooh, you're here already? That was quick!

The Thai version of Hana Yori Dango / Boys Over Flowers is premiering on December 18th.

 

In the Korean version, we had an incompatible couple who by the end of the drama was strangely compatible. Go Jung Pyo and Jan Di fought like a cat and dog throughout the drama, but they had many cute moments too.

The new version of Hana Yori Dango (aka Boys Over Flowers) will be premiering on Dec 18th.

 

@Lmangla thinks that the trailer looks dark compared to the more lighthearted Korean version. Me and @agenth are thinking it looks like it could be a new refreshing take on a story we've seen many times before.
