news-p.v1.20230531.efdc76ad9b1a4f66a995a

Actress Kim Joo-young showed off her elegant beauty.

On the 31st, in the tvN Saturday and Sunday drama 'The Tale of a Gumiho 1938' (director Shinhyo Kang, scriptwriter Hanwoori, production studio Dragon Hawoo Pictures), Jooyoung Kim, who plays the role of 'Maehwa', a parasitic who is in charge of the housekeeping of Myoyeongak, has a beautiful smile. A behind-the-scenes cut from the shooting site was released.

In the published photo, Kim Joo-young is wearing a hanbok with a light purple jacket and a skirt full of flower patterns, and she is showing off her pure beauty in a place full of bright flowers, drawing her attention. Here, she exudes an elegant and classic beauty, and is making those who see her flaunt her unique hanbok style.

Maehwa risks her own life to save the kidnapped Nan Cho (played by Nahyeon), threatening her brother who is working as a detective in the Japanese Government-General of Korea, and finding out the hiding place. Expectations are rising as to what kind of activity Kim Joo-young, who is digesting her character perfectly, will show in the future.

Meanwhile, tvN 'The Tale of a Gumiho 1938' is broadcast every Saturday and Sunday at 9:20 pm.

Kim Beom ♥ Woo Hyun-jin, sweet date → bloody Kim Beom capture 'reversal' ('The Tale of a Nine Tailed Fox 1938')

BF.33604393.1.jpg

'The Tale of a Gumiho 1938' Kim Bum and Woo Hyun-jin face a crisis.

On the 1st, tvN's Saturday and Sunday drama 'The Tale of a Gumiho 1938' revealed the beautiful beach date scene of Lee Rang (played by Kim Bum) and Jang Yeo-hee (played by Woo Hyun-jin), who confirmed their feelings for each other. The crisis posed to the two people enjoying the sweet moment is also captured, adding to the curiosity. In the last broadcast, I was disturbed by Cheon Moo-young (Ryu Gyeong-soo)'s words that Lee Rang would become a sacrifice to replace his "elder brother" Lee Yeon (Lee Dong-wook). It's because everything Lee Yeon did in the meantime was because of the future debt. In particular, the words that he lived less than 100 years made it even more bitter. In response, Rang jumped into the gambling board of the single dog (played by Kim Beop-rae), who staked life, not money, and faced a crisis. It was also Lee Yeon who saved him. At the moment of desperation, Lee Yeon wins a bet with a poisonous snake and Lee Rang regains her lost lifespan. And the appearance of his brother who solved the misunderstanding by confessing what happened in the future was warm.

It was Jang Yeo-hee, the 'mermaid', who embraced Lee Rang, who drew the line at living alone again. She called him a coward for taking out his frustrations on the wrong place. She comforted him in the best way possible and made him laugh, which changed him. Lee Rang and Jang Yeo Hee reaffirm their feelings for each other by promising to be a family. The growth of Lee Rang, who gave his heart to someone other than his brother for the first time, was heartwarming.

In the meantime, the atmosphere between Lee Rang and Jang Yeo-hee, who have grown closer, is exciting. Lee Rang arrives to escort Jang Yeo-hee. His heartwarming visuals are eye-catching as he sheds the harsh charisma of a demonic group and transforms into a romantic. Jang Yeo-hee's pouty expression as she looks at him is also intriguing.

Lee Rang and Jang Yeo-hee are also captured on a beautiful beach date. Their smiles are full of happiness as they playfully frolic in the sun, despite getting their clothes wet. Lee Rang prepared a surprise for Jang Yeo-hee, a half-mermaid who is determined to become a singer in the human world. The way Jang Yeo-hee smiles as if she knows how he feels makes everyone smile.

We also sense a crisis brewing between Lee Rang and Jang Yeo-hee. The unnerving image of a bloodied Lee Rang and Jang Yeo-hee holding onto his hand creates tension. The film raises the question of what happened to Lee-ran and Jang Yeo-hee who followed Lee-yeon with the 'treasure'.

The producers of 'Gumiho-dan 1938' said, "A moment of decision comes for Lee-ran, who is building his own world according to Yi-yeon's wishes. Please pay attention to the changes in him due to the existence of the one he has to protect." "It will be interesting to see how he starts to hunt down his enemies and how he and Jang Yeo-hee struggle to save each other in the midst of the crisis."

I don`t like the story of ressurection of Mu young`s brother. I would have preferred that he had traveled in time to the moment Lee Yeon killed Ho Young, to know more about what happened with his brother that he turned bad. It was most logical in my opinion, especially if you have the stone who can do the time travel. But to revive a dead ?! It is too much for my liking.  Plus, I feel it is not enough time to explore the whole story. It is more likely they want to connect it with the thrid season. I wish they would have kept the storyline simplier.

I wonder who is the leader of Shinigami Mercenary Group. Why he did not arrived with the others? Maybe he will appear later after we will know him in another situation.

'Tale of a Nine Tailed Fox 1938' Kim So-yeon's true value... Passionate acting that completes the character

2023060209241805737d3244b4fed18217218513

Kim So-yeon's passionate performance in 'The Tale of a Nine Tailed Fox 1938' stands out.

On the June2nd, the agency said, "In the tvN Saturday drama 'The Tale of a Gumiho 1938', Kim So-yeon's true value is being revealed, playing the role of Ryu Hong-joo, a former western mountain god and current president of Myoyeon-gak, who completes the character."

From the appearance of Kim So-yeon attacking Lee Yeon (Lee Dong-wook) and Moo-yeong (Ryu Kyung-soo) relentlessly with unfocused eyes, possessed by Jang San-beom in the last broadcast, to her temper when dealing with complaints from various gods out of nowhere due to the undressing group (Kim Jeong-nan). Each episode showed a different facet.
Not only she, but from the beginning of the play, she is fierce, fierce and mysterious to Yiyeon, and she is proving her own heavy presence by creating her identity as Ryu Hong-joo as a character overflowing with charisma to each member of the family.

In this way, Kim So-yeon captures the hearts of viewers by creating a colorful atmosphere for each situational character with her skillful level control. The agency said, “Now that we have entered the second half, expectations are soaring as to what kind of activity Kim So-yeon will perform in the remaining episodes.”

Meanwhile, tvN 'The Tale of a Gumiho 1938' is broadcast every Saturday and Sunday at 9:20 pm.

Lee Dong Wook Makes Special Plans To Get Kim So Yeon And Ryu Kyung Soo Back On His Side In “Tale Of The Nine-Tailed 1938”

tvN’s “Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938” has dropped a preview of the upcoming episode!

“Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938” is a sequel to the hit 2020 drama “Tale of the Nine-Tailed,” which told the story of the male gumiho (mythical nine-tailed fox) Yi Yeon (Lee Dong Wook) in the present day. However, in the new sequel, he unexpectedly finds himself back in 1938, and he embarks on an eventful adventure in his quest to return to the present.

Spoilers

In the previous episode of “Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938,” Yi Yeon ultimately decided to intervene in the affairs of this era. Although Yi Yeon had tried his best not to meddle as he’s just a guest in this time period, Yi Yeon decided he could no longer be a mere bystander after he witnessed the indigenous gods being persecuted.

While Yi Yeon starts to pursue the truth with Yi Rang (Kim Bum), Ryu Hong Joo (Kim So Yeon), Cheon Moo Young (Ryu Kyung Soo), and the Shinigami mercenaries each set out to steal the guardian stone and the golden ruler that are in Yi Yeon’s hands. With less than a week left before Yi Yeon returns to the present day, a new chapter begins as Yi Yeon determines to take matters into his own hands.

The newly released stills show the intriguing meeting between Yi Yeon, Ryu Hong Joo, and Cheon Moo Young. After learning from the god whom she met at Myoyeongak that the treasures are in Yi Yeon’s possession, Ryu Hong Joo’s eyes sparkled with joy. She then goes on to search for the guardian stone and the golden ruler all over the room while Yi Yeon is away but to no avail. As if he knows this all along, Yi Yeon flaunts a slight smirk when he shows Ryu Hong Joo that the guardian stone is still with him.

The other stills depict Yi Yeon going out to look for Cheon Moo Young. Although the wounds on their faces hint at their upcoming physical fight in the next episode, a glimpse of a subtle change in the two friends’ relationship can also be detected through stills that capture them drinking side by side with an exhausted look on their faces. It raises questions about what the two discuss and if they can finally confide in each other about what’s been on their minds all this time.

The production team teased that Yi Yeon will plan a special strategy to get his two friends back and remarked, “Yi Yeon announces that he will go to Bando Hotel with his treasure. Please look forward to seeing how his friends will react upon hearing this and whether the three mountain gods will join forces.”

The next episode of “Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938” will air on June 3 at 9:20 p.m. KST.

Exclusive Interview: Kim Bum & Kim So Yeon On “ Tale Of The Nine-Tailed 1938”

By: Puja Talwar

Kim Bum is back again as the crafty and troublesome half human and half gumiho, Lee Rang in the “Tale Of The Nine -Tailed 1938”, a sequel to the 2020 hit “Tale Of The Nine Tailed”. The drama is headlined by Lee Dong Wook who returns as the charming gumiho, Lee Yeon. Joining the cast is actor Kim So Yeon ( The Penthouse) in a pivotal role.

As the action shifts to Japan (1910-1945), it shows how Yeon has 16 hours to retrieve a stone that can help keep the gate between the earth and the world of demons firmly under lock, and that is only possible if he can get access to a mysterious masked villain. However, the one thing that remains constant is the love hate relationship between the two brothers Yeon and Rang. Though they had transitioned from enemies to friends in the previous edition, however in 1938, Rang’s disdain for his brother is palpable.

In an exclusive with Urban Asian, Kim Bum when asked about revisiting Lee Rang yet again and what appealed to him most about the character said,

“When I first approached Lee Rang, I thought simply. I thought of Lee Rang as an innocent character who just wants to bother and mess around to get attention from the person he likes, similar to a child. I was attracted to this story because I was intrigued by the script, which is based on Korean legends and tales with a modern, fun twist. For those who have watched season 1, they will know that Lee Rang has many scars, and he only looks up to his older brother. It will be exciting to see what the year 1938 was like for Lee Rang and how future Lee Yeon’s appearance affects and changes him. To use a Marvel analogy, it’s like the Avengers story at the time when Captain America and Hydra were present.”

Kim So Yeon who plays the a Mountain Goddess of the West” Ryu Hong Joo confesses being a fan of the fantasy genre, as well as of season one of “ Tale of the Nine-tailed”

“ When I was offered the role, I accepted without thinking twice. (laughs) I wanted to challenge myself to do a fantasy drama for I don’t know if there ever will be another chance”.  The actor also admits she trained diligently at an action school and sharing screen space with Lee Dong Wook was a dream come true for her. “ I have experienced action scenes before, but sword fighting was entirely different. I practiced with a sword that is heavier and longer than the actual sword used in filming. At first, I couldn’t even swing it across. (laughs) I am relieved to see how the scene turned out in the show, as many have helped with the process. And Lee Dong-wook was like the central figure of the set. He was an actor I have always wanted to try working with, and getting the chance to do so was exciting, and thanks to him, I had a lot of fun on set”.

Kim Bum who remains synonymous as So Yi Jung , one of the key F4 members from the cult classic Boys Over Flowers, which has been a rite of passage for fans into the K-drama universe reveals he has always been overwhelmed with the love that has come his way.

“It has been over a decade since ‘Boys Over Flowers’ came out, but it still sticks with me. This show helped me realize that there are people outside of Korea who love me and watch me. Though they are far away, their sincerity always reached me, and during my break and in times of sadness, the fans’ energy changed them into grateful times.”

The talented actor who has gone on to prove his versatility in hits such “Tale Of The Nine Tailed”, “Ghost Doctor” and “Law School” says he is always drawn to the storyline and the world of the drama, when choosing his projects.

”Working in a new genre, collaborating with new individuals, and expressing novel emotions always presents challenges. Hence, it is difficult to single out one genre as the most challenging. Personally, I have a fondness for cerebral, detective-based genres or large-scale projects that encompass an unprecedented epic universe”.

With the global popularity and mainstreaming of S Korean content, both actors feel its given them an opportunity to showcase the diversity and richness of S Korean content.

“We have always been sharing our stories, just as we are now, and we are grateful that people are listening to them. Because we will continue to do so for those who watch our stories, it has not challenged the actors ‘more.’ We have been challenged ‘constantly’”, says Kim Bum.

Kim So Yeon further adds

“I believe our drama has the responsibility to be the storyteller of Korean traditional folktales throughout the world. As a messenger that delivers Korea’s charms, and as one of the actors in the cast, I work with more responsibility.”

Produced by Studio Dragon ,“Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938”, has been ranking in the top ten list across 19 countries. The studio has emerged as one of the key story tellers, with mega hits such as The Glory, Crash Course in Romance, Under the Queen’s Umbrella, Little Women, Alchemy of Souls 1,2, Crash Landing on You, It’s Okay to Not Be Okay to its roster. A rainy day the other day. We made a hasty appointment to meet at a shop in a small alley, and gathered one by one. With their own worries, the day also ended in arm wrestling, but they definitely recharged each other. Every time I enter the store one by one, I can't be so happy every time. I sincerely hope that The Tale of a Gumiho will be loved more and more. fighting

Ep 7/8

We were back with hideous hairdo ..why.....and dang its 300 level of complex relationships....Lee Yeon killed senior Mu to save Junior Mu but Junior Mu asked Yeon to spare him.

Mu Yeong pulled Yeon to a illusionary world to take revenge and to resurrect his brother.

Indigenous Gods cannot identify a spy demon amongst themselves because every single one of them is selfish and concerned with nothing but themselves.

Rang wanted to kill himself because he harbors a sense of self pity (not his fault entirely) but then he understands now maybe.

Hong Ju is fun lol, albeit she keeps on switching sides or what looks like she does but she still is on Yeon's side more than Young's side.

(Maybe if Jiah/Ah eum entered this era the Loyalties would have been severly tested more lol, everyone is annoyed that she was the reason Yeon LEFT THEM ALL)

Ep 5 with Hong Ju being the actress and her slapping re re re slapping YEON was so fun, lmao.LDW's expressions and exaggerated reactions makes the show 100x times fun watch tbh.

Although MooYoung wants to kill Yeon theoretically , I feel he himself will sacrifice himself to save or send YEON back in his time.

I am more scared and think the Mermaid will be brutally killed which might traumatized Rang , just a hunch.

Lets see what happens.

On a side note, I wish Ancient Dokkebi was Gong Yoo, we would have seen Marvel esq parallel universe in a universe thing then lol.

'The Tale of a Nine Tailed Fox 1938' Lee Dong-wook, who can't stand it anymore, hunts Japanese monsters with a determined face

525806_650413_1216.jpg

[News Culture Reporter Kwon Soo-bin] Lee Dong-wook's thrilling big picture unfolds. tvN's Saturday and Sunday drama 'The Tale of a Gumiho 1938' (Director Kang Shin-hyo, Screenwriter Han Woo-ri) revealed Lee Yeon (Lee Dong-wook), who started living at the Bando Hotel on the 3rd ahead of the 9th episode. He stimulates curiosity about what will happen there as even the Myoyeon-gak family, who went out after him, is captured.

He is an uninvited guest while traveling in time, and he tried not to intervene because he could not change the future no matter what he did. However, the enemy's movements became cunning, and he decided not to put up with the reality that innocent people and even native yokai were persecuted.

525806_650418_1219.jpg

While an all-out war with the Japanese monsters, including the police chief (played by Ha Do-kwon), has been announced, Yiyeon's changed atmosphere in the photo raises curiosity. Knowing that there are many people who are looking for the 'treasure' guardian stone and gold, Lee Yeon moves to the Bando Hotel and prepares for a decisive battle. A resolute will can be seen in Lee Yeon's face as she contemplates how to hunt her enemies down at once.

525806_650414_1217.jpg

The Myoyeongak family gathered at the Bando Hotel along with Lee Yeon. Ryu Hong-joo (played by Kim So-yeon), who coveted Lee Yeon's treasure, is engrossed in devising ways to steal the treasure, holding a weapon in one hand and an elegant coffee cup in the other. It is also interesting to see the wide-eyed sub-head (played by Jo Dal-hwan) and the Myo Yeon-gak family in a western-style hotel they have never seen before.

The Bando Hotel, where the darkness has fallen, is dangerous unlike the lively daytime. Between Ryu Hong-joo and Chun Moo-yeong (Ryu Kyung-soo), who are aiming for Lee Yeon's treasure, the eyes full of boundaries come and go. Yi-yeon, as if waiting for this moment, heads somewhere with a candle to light up her darkness. Attention is focusing on what kind of hunting he is going to do at the Bando Hotel. The production team of ‘The Tale of a Nine Tailed Fox 1938’ said, “The confrontation with the Japanese monsters will unfold in earnest. Lee Yeon's big picture will be revealed,” he said.

'The Tale of a Gumiho 1938' Lee Dong-wook falls in love with Lee Yeon...Why he's everyone's favourite character

PS23060300170.jpg

[By Kim Bo Young, E-Daily Star] Viewers continue to fall in love with Lee Yeon's story as portrayed by Lee Dong Wook in 'Gumiho 1938'.

Lee Dong Wook, who is currently starring in tvN's Saturday drama 'Gumiho 1938' (directed by Kang Shin Hyo, written by Han Woori, produced by Studio Dragon House Pictures), is capturing the hearts of many with his portrayal of the main character, Gumiho 'Lee Yeon'. The dense narrative of Lee Yeon, which has been continued from season 1, such as a fox's pure love for a mate who still loves her, and an older brother's affection for his younger brother who has met again, shone through this time. In addition, Yi-yeon's new appearance was also charmingly portrayed, proving once again that he is everyone's favourite character.

Yi-yeon's handling of the situation elicited laughter and his wit elicited admiration. Yi-yeon's cute "Good morning!" to use Ryu Hong-joo's (Kim So-yeon) intelligence, investigating the case on Hong-joo's behalf, and using his good looks to get a job at a beauty salon added to the fun of the drama. Meanwhile, the scenes where Yi-yeon was suddenly blinded and attacked by ghosts and used the distance to cut off the electricity, and the scene where Cheon Moo-young (Ryu Kyung-soo), who is blind and white, called lightning to strike with a lightning rod effect while holding a knife, were thrilling to watch.

The chemistry with the new characters also shone through, especially the friendship between the mountain gods, which added depth to Lee Yeon's story. Not only did Yi Yeon pick and give his old friend Hong Joo's favourite snake berries, but he also touched Hong Joo's heart when he said, "You must protect Ryu Hong Joo, too," as she vowed to protect Myeong Yeon Gak. It was also revealed that Yi-yeon had to kill Moo-young's brother to protect him, and his sad eyes as he looked at him as he cried out made viewers feel sorry for him.

Yi Yeon's wide-eyed calculation as a former mountain god of the Baekdudaegan also resonated. After saving the lives of other indigenous gods in a bet, Lee Yeon's words, "It's a dizzying time for indigenous gods. If you want to survive, you have to make a place for yourself. Live with humans in a changed world," were filled with the affection and affection of a mountain god. Although he tried not to intervene because he didn't belong to this era, he couldn't turn a blind eye to the reality that indigenous demons were being persecuted, so he finally decided to 'hunt', and it will be interesting to see how he fares against Japanese demons.

Meanwhile, episode 9 of tvN's weekend drama "Gumihodan 1938" starring Lee Dong Wook will air tonight (3 March) at 9:20pm

'The Tale of a Nine Tailed Fox 1938' Lee Dong-wook X Kim So-yeon X Ryu Kyung-soo captures the rabbit hunting scene...'Majestic' Sanshinz

'The Tale of a Nine Tailed Fox 1938' Lee Dong-wook, Kim So-yeon, and Ryu Kyung-soo unite toward the same goal. tvN's Saturday and Sunday drama 'Tale of a Nine Tailed Fox 1938' (director Kang Shin-hyo, screenwriter Han Woo-ri, production studio Dragon Howe Pictures) featured three mountain gods, Lee Yeon (Lee Dong-wook), Ryu Hong-joo (Kim So-yeon), and Cheon Moo-young, who came together to deal with the enemy on the 4th. (Ryu Kyung-soo) was revealed to raise expectations.

While a fight without retreat is expected, the majestic aura of 'Sanshinz' Lee Yeon, Ryu Hong-joo, and Chun Moo-young in the public photos catches the eye. Ushiuchibo (Jeong Jae-won) of the Shinigami Mercenary Corps surprised them by appearing spraying a mist containing deadly poison. However, the sad blue eyes of the trio of mountain gods that do not waver for an inch determine the victory or defeat of this fight. ‘Sansins’ succeeded in capturing Ushiuchibo. I wonder what kind of change the hunting of the three sanshins, who have nothing to fear when united, will bring.

In the 10th episode of 'The Tale of a Gumiho 1938', which will be released today (4th), Lee Yeon's bloody hunt to protect precious things continues. The production crew of ‘The Tale of a Nine Tailed Fox 1938’ said, “An unexpected crisis comes to the mountain gods of Joseon. The performance of ‘Sansins’, who fight fiercely but quickly become one side, will stand out.” Next, “The battle at the Bando Hotel, which has become a disaster with the appearance of the yaksa, and the thrilling hunt of the mountain gods against the ‘Shinigami Mercenary Corps’ are excitingly unfolded. Please look forward to the powerful synergy of the three Sanshins who will scold the Japanese monsters.”

The Tale of a Gumiho 1938' Woo Hyun-jin, a retro look captured in the 1930s... perfect outfit

[Current Focus / Correspondent Lee Cheong-won] 'The Tale of a Gumiho 1938' Woo Hyun-jin captivates viewers with extreme styling. On the 4th, the agency released a large number of still cuts containing the colorful appearance of Woo Hyun-jin in the play.

Woo Hyun-jin plays the role of her mermaid 'Jang Yeo-hee' in 'The Tale of a Nine Tailed Fox 1938' and is showing a variety of activities. In particular, she wears various costumes tailored to the persona she dreams of becoming a singer, making her play more fun. First, when she is on stage, Woo Hyun-jin completes her dazzling visuals with a sparkling glitter dress. She adds a colorful hair ornament to her thick wavy hair and creates an alluring mood with a red lip.

Not only that, Woo Hyun-jin is equipped with her confident eyes, and as a singer who captivates the audience of Club Paradise in the play, she shows Yeo-hee's confidence.

On the other hand, off stage, Woo Hyun-jin perfectly digested the 1930's retro outfit from dot pattern to check pattern. In addition, she doubles her loveliness with a ribbon item in a pastel-toned dress, highlighting Yeo-hee's human side full of excitement.

In this way, Woo Hyun-jin is enchanting her home theater by putting every aspect of her character into fashion and acting. It maximizes Yeo-hee's charm with her ever-changing style, while Yeo-hee, who was learning about her love through writing, met Lee Rang (played by Kim Bum) and expressed her gradually deepening emotions, increasing the immersion of viewers.

Meanwhile, tvN's Saturday drama 'The Tale of a Gumiho 1938' starring Woo Hyun-jin, Lee Dong-wook, Kim So-yeon, Kim Beom, and Ryu Kyung-soo is broadcast every Saturday and Sunday night.

Meanwhile, the tvN fantasy drama Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938 scored an average nationwide viewership of 4.98%, its lowest so far. But, as usual, it remained the most-watched show on tvN on June 3. So far, the series has consistently achieved single-digit ratings. Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938 is currently in its penultimate week of airing. Hopefully, the upcoming episodes will get the series better ratings.

****

I am not surprised that this drama never grew the ratings. While I am watching and I am entertained, I never felt the story. The writer gives us a little mystery or questions that we need answers but those answers don`t matter much in  building the story. It was like I enjoy finding the pieces of the puzzle but I don`t like the picture when when I assemble them.

For exemple, why Taluipa from 2020 has freed Mu young and she anticipated that he will go to 1938. OK.... and later sent Lee Yeon with the pretence that he has to return the stone. She needed a capable Lee Yeon in 1938. But why? Taluipa from 1938 seemed very proud of herself that she sent Lee Yeon in 1938 to fight the Japanese monsters but I don`t understand the urgency or the reason behind that huge decission. I already knew that all three mountain gods will reunite to fight the yokai and that`s fine. I anticipated that but I still don`t know why Taluipa needed that in 2020. I thought that Mu young came to 1938 to changed something important like saving the life of Hong Joo. And Tapuila, as someopne who raised the mountain gods, would have regretted not helping her or helping the native gods who were murdered by Kato. She wanted the three old friends to resolve their problems. Fine,  It would have made more sense. Instead, we have Mu Young wanted the stone and other artefact to revive his brother. Facepalm.  Why Ho Young wanted to kill Mu young?  Another mystery for the third season, I assume. I don`t want another season. if they will produce it and So yeon will be in it, i will watch but I don`t trust the writer to give me the meaningful or engaging story I want. I will watch for the pretty or the funny scenes but not for the story.

Why Kato needs the marriage with Eun Ho? Why? He has a good position in the family without this contrived marriage plot. Why they did not give us more confruntation with Kato until now? To keep it for the last episode It is kind of late and I don`t feel the tension.

I don`t hate this drama. Fans of the first season wanted to see the gumiho brothers bonding and they got it. I like seeing them.  Hong Joo was an interesting female lead. I really like her a lot but I waited to see her in her own story in that era. I like watching the drama for the pretty and funny scenes  but it could have been better if the writer had a coherent story in mind. Bring the pretty and funny... That`s why I watch but I am dissapointed for what could have been.

ps: I don't know why I thought Taluipa freed Mu young. :D She was proud only for sending Lee Yeon in 1938.

'The Tale of a Gumiho 1938' Kang Na-eon "Should I just cut off one finger?"

Actor Kang Na-eon showed a 180-degree different look from innocence to turning violent

Kang Na-eon is appearing as Kook-hee, a parasitic at Myoyeongak run by Ryu Hong-joo (played by Kim So-yeon) in the currently airing tvN Saturday and Sunday drama 'The Tale of a Gumiho 1938' (written by Han Woo-ri, directed by Kang Shin-hyo-jo-nam).

In the broadcast on the 3rd, Kang Na-eon followed Hong-joo to the Bando Hotel with Mae Nan-guk Juk, who is always with her. In the fact that she "sleeps in a luxury hotel", Kook-hee showed an innocent and happy appearance as soon as she entered the room and lay down on the bed.

Not only that, but after being hypnotised by the hypnotist, she and the rest of the group turned violent and began to threaten other guests. Guo Hee, who didn't blink an eye, revealed a vicious face, saying, "Let's cut off a finger for an example."

‘The Tale of a Nine Tailed Fox 1938’ is a K-fantasy action action drama about a nine-tailed fox (Lee Dong-wook) who made an emergency landing in the chaotic era of 1938 to return to the modern age. Kang Na-eon plays the role of Guk-hee in her 'The Tale of a Nine-Tailed Fox 1938', who grows up among her brothers since she was young and has a lot of appetite, but she is stubborn in her own way.
