Lee Joon And Kang Han Na Are Doomed To Be Star-Crossed Lovers In “Bloody Heart” Poster

KBS 2TV’s “Bloody Heart” has unveiled a poster featuring Lee Joon and Kang Han Na!

“Bloody Heart” is a fictional historical drama about the bloody political romance between Lee Tae (Lee Joon), a king who has to abandon the woman he loves to survive, and Yoo Jung (Kang Han Na), a woman who has to become the queen to survive.

Lee Tae dreams of an absolute monarchy for his own survival. He believes that any means taken for this goal is justifiable and if necessary, he will not hesitate to take an illegal or dishonest route. However, he is forced to choose between the monarchy and love once he falls into a heated political battle against Yoo Jung, his former lover from his younger days.

The free-spirited Yoo Jung has a mindset that is a bit ahead of her time. She is a bold woman who has everything, from excellent resourcefulness to innate intelligence. When she meets Lee Tae, she experiences more catastrophe in her already eventful life and gets caught up in palace affairs.

In the newly released poster, Lee Tae and Yoo Jung are standing back to back. Even though they’re conscious of each other, they can’t bear to meet eyes. Their gazes are filled with sadness and longing, but there’s subtle tension in the air. The text on the poster reads, “The sad fate where we cannot face [each other] has begun,” giving a hint about their tragic love story.

his picturesque poster not only raises expectations for Lee Tae and Yoo Jung’s exciting and heartbreaking romance but also their political confrontation.

Their story will start to unfold on on May 2 at 9:30 p.m. KST.

Hello everyone!

I'm interested to watch this drama because talented actor Lee Joon and actress Kang Han Na are the main couple in this historical drama with the lover to enemies trope.:fullofhearts:

And this is Lee Joon's first historical drama where he act as main male lead.

But I'm confused about something.

I read some info about this drama mentioned that Kang Han Na's character, Yoo Jung, is daughter of a noble family.

And Lee Joon's character, Lee Tae, thinks of her as his wife.

But when I look at her costume when she in the palace in this drama still, it doesn't look like the main wife costume.

So, is Yoo Jung actually is Lee Tae's consort or concubine or main wife (crown princess/queen)?

Can anyone clarifies this for me?

Upcoming KBS 2TV drama “Bloody Heart” has shared a new look at Jang Hyuk and Park Ji Yeon!

“Bloody Heart” is a fictional historical drama about the bloody political romance between Lee Tae (Lee Joon), a king who has to abandon the woman he loves to survive, and Yoo Jung (Kang Han Na), a woman who has to become the queen to survive.

Jang Hyuk will star as Park Gye Won, the first vice-premier and the real head of power in Joseon, while Park Ji Yeon will star as the elegant and ambitious queen dowager Choi Ga Yeon.

Park Gye Won and Choi Ga Yeon were once lovers who dreamed of a future together, but after experiencing sudden changes in their lives, they ended up in a strange relationship where they are both close and distant to each other.

In the first couple photos, Park Gye Won and Choi Ga Yeon create a feeling of melancholy as they stare into the distance with sad eyes, hinting that they have lingering feelings for one another. Although they’re not physically together, they live with one heart, and it will be intriguing to find out more about their puzzling relationship.

Another photo captures Park Gye Won’s overwhelming charisma as he points his sword at someone. In the next still, Choi Ga Yeon, who has numerous courtiers assisting her, shows her powerful presence. Hmmmm, what got my attention is the relationship of Park Gye Won played by (Jang Hyuk) and his relationship to Choi Gye Yin the queen dowager as they were once lovers but now they may be still in love with each other yet their political aspirations maybe different. I am waiting for the drama to start.

Lee Joon, Kang Han Na, And Jang Hyuk Are Determined To Carry Out Their Own Goals In Character Posters For “Bloody Heart”

KBS 2TV’s upcoming drama “Bloody Heart” has released new character posters of its three leads!

“Bloody Heart” is a fictional historical drama about the bloody political romance between Lee Tae (Lee Joon), a king who has to abandon the woman he loves to survive, and Yoo Jung (Kang Han Na), a woman who has to become the queen to survive.

The newly released posters give a peek at each of the characters’ goals and personalities, and the three of them exude different kinds of charisma.

In his poster, Lee Tae shows a fragile appearance, but his eyes are filled with different emotions such as sadness and ferocity. The text on the poster reads, “I will live in my hell, so live with a smile in your world,” depicting his desire that Yoo Jung will not get entangled in the raging political battles inside the palace walls.

In the poster, Yoo Jung exudes unique elegance with her humble yet graceful figure. There is no smile on her face, and she looks rather serious, but her eyes glint with determination. The words on her poster reads, “Your Highness, protect yourself. I’ll protect myself.” With her independent charms, she will do whatever it takes to survive in the brutal palace, and fans are excited to find out how she will overcome the turbulent moments in her life.

In his poster, Jang Hyuk transformed into Park Gye Won, the first vice-premier and the real head of power in Joseon. He is a fierce but loyal member of the government who doesn’t want another tyrant to take over the country.

Park Gye Won gives off a powerful aura, and his solemn gaze overwhelms the viewers. The text on his poster claims, “Everything God does is for this country Joseon,” conveying his belief that Joseon always comes first. Moreover, his poker face and beast-like eyes make it difficult for people to guess if he’s good or evil. It will be interesting to see what he does as his role of the “kingmaker.”

“Bloody Heart” premieres on May 2 at 9:30 p.m. KST.

KBS 2TV’s upcoming drama “Bloody Heart” has shared new stills of the women in the palace!

“Bloody Heart” is a fictional historical drama about the bloody political romance between Lee Tae (Lee Joon), a king who has to abandon the woman he loves to survive, and Yoo Jung (Kang Han Na), a woman who has to become the queen to survive.

Kang Han Na will star as the free-spirited Yoo Jung, who has a mindset that is a bit ahead of her time. She is a bold woman who has everything, from excellent resourcefulness to innate intelligence. Choi Ri plays Cho Yeon Hee, the daughter of Cho Won Pyo (Heo Sung Tae), who is immature, arrogant, and audacious and enters the palace to achieve her dreams.

The three characters will portray the imposing power of women standing in the center of Joseon politics and add tension to the plot.

The newly released photos show Yoo Jung, Choi Ga Yeon, and Cho Yeon Hee exuding similar auras.
