Plot

The drama 'Bloody Heart' is a fictional historical drama that begins when Lee Tae succeeds his father Seonjong, who became king after rebellion, as the king of Joseon. The tense political confrontation of Park Gye-won, who tries to make the later king 'the flower of the royal family, leads the play.

 She's the type who can't be bothered by the strict doctrines of Confucianism and is too free to be confined in a cubicle.  She is a free-spirited woman who Lee Tae falls in love with. Lee Tae picks Yoo Jung as his crown princess, causing a troublesome situation for his family, and he is forced to make a choice between the one he loves and his family’s plans for revenge.

Lee Tae, the eldest son of Seonjong, who became king after the rebellion, ascends to the throne as the king of Joseon. Unlike his father, who was a weak monarch, Lee Tae, who dreams of becoming an absolute monarch. His goal is to exterminate Park Gye-won and anti-government officials in order to strengthen the monarchy. In order not to beg for his life, he is known as a character who will do whatever is necessary if necessary.

i was using the names they had in the previous news report, but the drama may have changed to Red Heart now.

KBS 2TV’s new Monday-Tuesday drama “Red Heart” (literal title) has confirmed its cast!

Previously, the drama shared that Lee Joon, Kang Han Na, and Jang Hyuk were in talks to star in “Red Heart.” On November 2, KBS stated that all three actors have been confirmed to be part of the historical drama and that their synergy will create a unique setting and solid storyline.

“Red Heart” is a fictional historical drama about Lee Tae, who becomes the king of Joseon and dreams of absolute monarchy.

Lee Joon has been cast as Lee Tae, who aims to strengthen his authority by getting rid of Park Kye Won and his subjects. Lee Tae is a person who thinks any action is justifiable to achieve his goal, and fans are already looking forward to how Lee Joon will express his character’s emotional lines as he fiercely fights for power.

Kang Han Na has been offered the role of Yoo Jung, a free-spirited woman who Lee Tae falls in love with. Lee Tae picks Yoo Jung as his crown princess, causing a troublesome situation for his family, and he is forced to make a choice between the one he loves and his family’s plans for revenge.

Jang Hyuk will take on the role of Park Kye Won, who will be involved in intense conflict with Lee Tae. Park Kye Won is a living symbol of power and a figure that everyone obeys. He is a “king maker” who resolves to “create a wise and young king with his own hands” so that the foundation of Joseon will not be shaken by tyrants again.

Fans are especially looking forward to the reunion of Lee Joon and Jang Hyuk, who worked together in the 2013 drama “Iris 2.”

“Red Heart” will be directed by Yoo Young Eun, who previously directed “How to Buy a Friend” and “Manhole,” and written by Park Pil Joo, who previously wrote dramas including “Marry Me Now” and “First Love Again.”

It is scheduled to premiere in the first half of 2022.

Actor Ha Do-kwon will appear in "Red Heart"

On the 3rd Nov, the agency 935 Entertainment said, "Ha Do-kwon will appear in 'Red Heart (screenplay by Park Pil-joo, directed by Yoo Young-eun)' which is scheduled to air in the first half of next year."

 

In the play, Ha Do-kwon will play the role of Jeong Eui-gyun, the inner boss of Jeong 4, and will show the role of the cornerstone of the play with a unique charismatic figure.

 

Red Heart is a fiction historical drama that has confirmed a solid lineup with Ha Do-kwon appearing, plans to capture the hearts of TV viewers with perfect acting of popular actors in the Joseon Dynasty based on the appearance and solid stories of actors such as Lee Joon, Kang Han-na, and Jang Hyuk.

 

As he is an attractive actor with serious eyes and mid- to low-pitched voices, attention is being paid to how he will shine and create new life characters in this work.


Meanwhile, "Red Heart," starring Ha Do-kwon, is scheduled to air on KBS 2TV in the first half of 2022.

Park Ji-yeon joins "Red Heart"... working with Lee Joon, Jang Hyuk, Kang Han Na.

 

Park Ji-yeon plays Choi Ga-yeon in the drama, who is a person struggling to protect the power she enjoyed while becoming a political opponent with Park Gye-won (Jang Hyuk), whom she once admired.

 

Park Ji-yeon made her debut with the musical "Mamma Mia" in 2010. Since then, she has established herself as a musical star through a number of performances, and recently showed her strong presence through dramas "Stranger" and "Hospital Playlist Season 2." She is also expected to appear in "Red Heart" and continue her hard work on the TV screens.

Seo Yoo-jung will resume her acting career for the first time in more than four years with KBS2's new Monday-Tuesday drama "Red Heart"

 

Seo Yoo-jung plays the role of Yoon, Park Gye-won's (Jang Hyuk) wife in the drama. In the drama, Yoon is one who does not hesitate to sacrifice others for the sake of Park Gye-won in a tense royal power struggle and supports him with all her might.

 

She took a break after the tvN drama "Mr. Sunshine," felt positive energy. Shee debuted in 1996 with the MBC drama Golden Feather and has been running nonstop for more than 20 years. In 2017, she married an ordinary person three years older and gave birth to a daughter two years later.
