Yoon Kyun Sang and Lim Ji Yeon are confirmed to star in the upcoming TVING thriller drama “The Mansion” (literal title)!

Premiering in 2022, “The Mansion” is a mystery thriller set in an apartment scheduled for reconstruction and tells the story of the search for the truth behind a sister’s disappearance. Along with suspicious neighbors who hide their greed beneath ordinary looks, the secrets that are gradually uncovered will deliver realistic fear and strong suspense.

With the teamwork between production team members famous in the film industry, the upcoming drama is already guaranteed to be of high quality. “The Mansion” will be helmed by director Chang, who has showcased his talent through “Death Bell,” “The Target,” and “Canola,” and it will be written by scriptwriter Yoo Kab Yeol, who has been praised for penning “Skeletons in the Closet,” “Man in Love,” and “The Chase.”

Lim Ji Yeon will play Ji Na, a hotel employee who is tracking down her older sister’s disappearance. Although she appears to have a smooth-sailing life, she os a figure who is filled with a great sense of inferiority on the inside. Following the news of her sister Ji Hyun’s disappearance, Ji Na returns to her family’s house, which is known as the Rose Mansion, only to be swept up in an unexpected situation. Lim Ji Yeon will portray Ji Na’s anxiousness, fear, and tenacity with great detail as she chases after the truth while being surrounded by suspicious neighbors at the Rose Mansion, which has now become a dangerous place.

Yoon Kyun Sang takes on the role of violent crimes detective Min Soo, who will be the only one to believe in Ji Na’s words and help her. As a stubborn man of action who has to see through to the end of a case once he gets hooked on it, Min Soo will help Ji Na unearth the truth behind Ji Hyun’s disappearance. Although he appears to be a reliable and strong man, Min Soo also possesses secret darkness that no one knows about.

The production team shared, “With the setting of an apartment that everyone is familiar with, the story will frankly uncover the hidden greed, secrets, and lies hidden behind various types of people. The realistic horror that penetrates through ordinary everyday life will create intense suspense.”

“The Mansion” will be co-produced by JTBC Studio, BA Entertainment, which produced “The Chronicles of Evil,” “The Outlaws,” and “The Gangster, The Cop, The Devil,” and Film Monster, which produced “Intimate Strangers,” “Trap,” and “All of Us Are Dead.”

The drama is scheduled to be released via TVING in the first half of 2022.
