Watch: Park Min Young And Song Kang Make Heart-Fluttering Eye Contact In New Teasers For Office Romance Drama

Park Min Young and Song Kang’s upcoming JTBC drama “Weather Forecast People: Cruel Story of Office Romance” (literal translation) has shared two new exciting teasers!

“Weather Forecast People: Cruel Story of Office Romance” is a new drama about the passionate yet unpredictable work and love lives of people who work at the Korea Meteorological Administration, Korea’s national weather forecast service.

Park Min Young stars as general forecaster Jin Ha Kyung, an intelligent and highly organized individual who does everything by the book and is fastidious about keeping her personal and professional lives separate. Song Kang plays special reporter Lee Si Woo, a free spirit who is always thinking outside the box. Despite his impressive IQ of 150, all he cares about is the weather.

On January 5, the drama released its first glimpses of Jin Ha Kyung and Lee Si Woo together. The first teaser captures the two at work in the Meteorological Administration’s situation room. Lee Si Woo carefully holds Jin Ha Kyung’s hand, and the two make eye contact and gradually smile as they blissfully exchange loving gazes.

The second preview depicts Jin Ha Kyung and Lee Si Woo outside the office at night. Jin Ha Kyung is unable to hide her smile while being aware that Lee Si Woo is following right behind her. Lee Si Woo also observes her fondly without a word. Even with the two of them just walking the same path together, they create a romantic atmosphere.

Just like the fickle weather, Jin Ha Kyung and Lee Si Woo’s office romance will also be unpredictable. The production team shared, “In addition to having an interesting story and being the first Korean drama about the Meteorological Administration, the romance of the weather forecast people will be another focal point. At the center of that point are Park Min Young and Song Kang. These teaser videos, which fully preview that [romantic] atmosphere with only the two actors’ gazes and smiles, without any lines, capture their heart-fluttering chemistry perfectly. We ask the viewers to look forward to the drama.”

“Weather Forecast People: Cruel Story of Office Romance” will premiere in February 2022.

JTBC has unveiled a teaser poster for its upcoming drama “Weather Forecast People: Cruel Story of Office Romance” (literal translation)!

“Weather Forecast People: Cruel Story of Office Romance” is a new romance drama about the work and love lives of people who work at the Korea Meteorological Administration, Korea’s national weather forecast service.

Park Min Young and Song Kang will star as Jin Ha Kyung and Lee Si Woo, two polar opposites who seem to have nothing in common. The frosty Jin Ha Kyung, who is intelligent and highly organized, does everything by the book and is coldly fastidious about keeping her personal and professional lives separate. Meanwhile, the passionate Lee Si Woo, who boasts an impressive IQ of 150 but only cares about the weather, is a clumsy free spirit who is always thinking outside the box and is determined to achieve whatever he sets his heart on.

In the newly released poster for the upcoming drama, Jin Ha Kyung and Lee Si Woo gaze at one another as they sit far apart at a long table. Typically, when cold air and warm air meet, the result is rain—and the tension between the two characters suggests that a storm is indeed brewing.

Meanwhile, the poster’s caption reads, “I’m in trouble. Because I keep liking you more and more.”

The producers of “Weather Forecast People: Cruel Story of Office Romance” commented, “The teaser poster that was released on January 7 captures the deep emotions of actors Park Min Young and Song Kang, who can tell a romantic story just by locking eyes.”

“To find out what unusual weather will arise when Si Woo, who is warm and clear without a single cloud, finds his way into the heart of the chilly Ha Kyung, who never has a strand of hair out of place even when she steps out of the Meteorological Administration,” they continued, “please stay tuned for the pair’s romance forecast.”

“Weather Forecast People: Cruel Story of Office Romance” will premiere in February.

They should shorten the title... Weather People/ tornado love???? :lol:

And just like Melancholia, before the drama even aired... the nasty comments on the actors age are slowing coming up...

Those insulting comments are so funny, you can immediately see that they were written by teenagers, because it's not about age, but about how professional the actors are and how they work in pairs, and these two definitely do their job very well.

Watch: Song Kang And Park Min Young Work And Love Passionately In Upcoming Drama Teasers

Drama Preview

Jan 11, 2022

by S. Nam

JTBC’s upcoming weekend drama “Weather Forecast People: Cruel Story of Office Romance” (literal title) released two new teasers!

The new teaser begins with the text, “1 percent weather probability can change, and so can people’s feelings.” The weather can turn at any moment even with the smallest probability, so weather forecast director Go Bong Chan (Kwon Hae Hyo) can’t help but be strict. Differences in opinions arise as senior forecaster Um Dong Han (Lee Sung Wook) comments, “Forecasts are probabilities,” while breaking news reporter Lee Si Woo argues back, “That’s why they’re always wrong.” Neighborhood forecaster Shin Suk Ho (Moon Tae Yoo) and analysis action officer Oh Myung Joo (Yoon Sa Bong) are also shown busy doing their best in the high-pressure environment.

Jin Ha Kyung states, “Even if they’re predictions, I think it’s our job to use data that’s a bit more accurate to make these predictions.” Meanwhile, Lee Si Woo can’t seem to take his eyes off of Jin Ha Kyung as she speaks.

Another teaser has Jin Ha Kyung questioning, “What exactly are you?” Despite the sunny weather, Lee Si Woo replies, “It’ll definitely come. Rain.” Suddenly, people are running to escape the rain, and Jin Ha Kyung reaches out with her hand to touch the rain with a puzzled frown.

Lee Si Woo confesses, “It’s a big problem because I keep liking Jin Ha Kyung more.” The two secretly hug in the office as Lee Si Woo reassures her, “Don’t worry. We won’t get caught.” Although Jin Ha Kyung worries about keeping their office romance a secret, she can’t help but childishly act jealous when Lee Si Woo interacts with other people at work.

The production team shared, “We’re confident that the weather forecast people, who have fierce passion for the weather, and the thrilling office romance story, which will be unpredictable like the weather, will captivate the viewers’ hearts. Please look forward to the exhilarating work and love created with a 1 percent probability by Ha Kyung and Si Woo as well as the Korea Meteorological Administration’s employees.”

“Weather Forecast People: Cruel Story of Office Romance” will premiere in February.
