JTBC has released a new teaser for “Green Mothers Club” (literal title) starring Lee Yo Won, Chu Ja Hyun, Jang Hye Jin, and more!

JTBC’s upcoming Wednesday-Thursday drama is about the dangerous relationships in a neighborhood association of parents at a local elementary school. The women in the association, who had come to think of themselves only as “mothers,” will reveal previously hidden secrets and learn about the meaning of “friendship” in adulthood.

The drama stars Lee Yo Won, Chu Ja Hyun, Kim Kyu Ri, Jang Hye Jin, and Joo Min Kyung as five mothers with completely different personalities, which is showcased in the new teaser.

The teaser is set from the perspective of an apartment door peephole and features the five characters’ different reactions as they hesitate to ring the doorbell.

Once they’ve all gotten unbelievably close to the camera, they settle their nerves and prepare to introduce themselves. In the voiceover, Lee Yo Won comments, “On the outside, pretending not to be, and pretending to be wealthy. Behind the apartment door, putting on and taking off the mask of greed,” making viewers suspicious of the mothers’ true intentions.

They all finally ring the doorbell and quickly erase any sign of nerves from their faces. The ladies then quietly comment with a shy smile, “I’m the mother from next door.”

Lee Yo Won Talks About Playing A Mother In New JTBC Drama, Her Chemistry With The Child Actors, And More

dummy.jpeg?s=900x600&e=t

Lee Yo Won shared her thoughts about her upcoming JTBC drama “Green Mothers Club” (literal title)!

Starring Lee Yo Won, Chu Ja HyunKim Kyu Ri, Jang Hye Jin, and Joo Min Kyung, “Green Mothers Club” is about the dangerous relationships in a neighborhood association of parents at a local elementary school. The women in the association, who had come to think of themselves only as “mothers,” will reveal previously hidden secrets and learn about the meaning of “friendship” in adulthood.

Lee Yo Won plays Lee Eun Pyo, an ordinary housewife with a prestigious education who studied abroad in France. After entering an unfamiliar elementary school community, she will go through a rough adaptation period because of the passionate mothers.

Lee Yo Won reflected on the script, saying, “The most attractive thing was that it expressed women’s lives in various and three-dimensional ways. While reading the script, I sympathized a lot with Lee Eun Pyo and the other mothers in the Green Mothers Club.”

Concerning her character, she commented, “She has a familiar charm that is realistic and commonly encountered around us. She’s someone who strives for her dreams but gets frustrated as she encounters a wall of reality, and eventually, she becomes faithful to the human instinct that resulted from that process.”

She continued, “She has a unique feeling and atmosphere, so she stands out calmly among the mothers. Sometimes, she is misunderstood by others, but nevertheless, she acts honestly without bending her beliefs. She seems more charming because of her personality and style.”

The newly released stills share a glimpse of Lee Eun Pyo. One photo captures her professional side as she wears an apron splattered with paint and stares at her canvas with sharp eyes. Like Lee Yo Won described, Lee Eun Pyo “stands out calmly” with her subtle charms.

In the drama, Lee Eun Pyo is the mother of two children, and Lee Yo Won dished on her chemistry with the child actors. She shared, “They are so nice, bright, and good at acting that I learn a lot from them during filming. I actually get scolded by the children because I’m not good at holding back my laughter. We’re like a true family.”

Finally, the actress shared a key point, saying, “Mothers with children in elementary school will relate more to the relationships in the drama, the world of women, and various human relationships entangled in it. I hope that when you look back, it will be remembered as ‘a really enjoyable drama.'”

'Green Mothers Club' Choo Ja-hyun, immersed in a strong tiger mom... No. 1 charisma

202203110845471791_l.jpg

'Green Mothers Club' Choo Ja-hyun returns as Byun Chun-hee, the number 1 leader in the elementary school community.

In JTBC's new Wednesday-Thursday drama 'Green Mothers Club', which will be aired for the first time on April 6, Choo Ja-hyun will play the role of Byun Chun-hee, the center of the fierce private education craze, and will properly show the essence of 'Tiger Mom'. .

Byun Chun-hee is a tiger mom who aims to enter a prestigious university through a thorough study plan from the time her children wake up in the morning until they go to sleep. With her beauty as well as her unrivaled intelligence, she establishes herself as the number one leader in the Green Mothers Club based on this. In this regard, the character Byun Chun-hee drawn by Choo Ja-hyun, the owner of unrivaled charisma and atmosphere, is drawing more attention.

First, Choo Ja-hyun said, "The most attractive thing was that it deals with the war man of her mothers." She explained why she chose 'Green Mothers Club'. She continued, "I felt a lot of sympathy with the script when I met Cha-ae, who felt that mothers also have new relationships when they have children," she said.

In particular, she said that out of her five mothers, she liked the character Byun Chun-hee the most. Choo Ja-hyeon, who expressed Byun Chun-hee by saying, "I am a strong mother who gives up her identity and lives only for her children," said, "It was sad and heartbreaking to see Chun-hee who can only do that because she wants her children to live well."

Curiosity is focused on how he would have understood and acted the narrative and emotions of the character Byun Chun-hee, whom he sympathized with so deeply. What is the message I wanted to say, focusing on that part, we are having a lot of conversations and creating a character.”

On the other hand, about the children who make up a family in the play, "They are innocent, polite, and have no lack of acting, so I am amazed at every shoot. I am also looking forward to meeting you for the first time.

Lastly, Choo Ja-hyun said, "It is an interesting drama with an interesting narrative that can sympathize with 'woman' and 'mom', as well as their groom and younger brother. I hope that I can do it," he said, raising interest in the first broadcast with an introduction and wind that shows affection for the drama.

In the photo released along with this, the figure of Choo Ja-hyun, completely immersed in the role of Byun Chun-hee, is drawn. Her expression showing off her presence gives a sense of dignified power. Above all, as the saying goes, "a strong mother who lives for her child," she is also caught exposing her claws to protect her child.

JTBC’s upcoming drama “Green Mothers Club” (literal title) has released a third teaser!

“Green Mothers Club” is about the dangerous relationships in a neighborhood association of parents at a local elementary school. The women in the association, who had come to think of themselves only as “mothers,” will reveal previously hidden secrets and learn about the meaning of “friendship” in adulthood. Lee Yo WonChu Ja HyunJang Hye JinKim Kyu Ri, and Joo Min Kyung will star as five very different mothers who belong to this parents association.

The new teaser gives a closer look at each of the mothers’ personalities and how they differ from one another. Lee Yo Won plays Lee Eun Pyo, the mother of Dong Seok and the newest addition to the neighborhood. As she watches a young child study an extensive list of English words in the elevator, her voiceover comments, “You know what I detest the most? Mothers who push their greed onto their children.”

Chu Ja Hyun plays Yu Bin’s mom Byun Choon Hee, the biggest insider and queen bee of their neighborhood, who believes that raising child prodigies is for the good of the country. Her dedication to her child’s success is evident in her actions as she meticulously pays attention to all of Yu Bin’s study materials.

Kim Kyu Ri plays the role of Seo Jin Ha, Lee Eun Pyo’s former friend and current rival. Unbothered by everyone else’s methods, Seo Jin Ha expresses discomfort with the way students are divided into levels and shows confidence in her parenting.

Jang Hye Jin takes on the role of Byun Choon Hee’s nemesis Kim Young Mi. While showing her activism at a protest, Kim Young Mi asks, “Doesn’t too much prior learning just obliterate children’s curiosity?”

Lastly, Joo Min Kyung plays the passionate Park Yoon Joo, Lee Eun Pyo’s deceptively cheerful younger cousin, who has moved into the neighborhood solely for the sake of her child.

As the mothers gradually get familiarized with each other, Lee Eun Pyo’s son starts to get targeted by other moms as the “problem child.” Eventually, Lee Eun Pyo gets fed up with their attitudes and warns them, “If you look down on my son one more time, I won’t let you get away with it.”

Lee Yo-won defends her son in new promos for JTBC’s Green Mothers’ Club

by tccolb

dummy.jpeg?s=900x600&e=t

New promos have been released for JTBC’s upcoming Green Mothers’ Club, featuring our five leading ladies: Lee Yo-won (Running Investigators), Chu Ja-hyun (Unfamiliar Family), Kim Gyu-ri (Designated Survivor: 60 Days), Jang Hye-jin (The Red Sleeve Cuff), and Joo Min-kyung (Jirisan).

Taking a look at the social pressures surrounding child education in South Korea, the drama follows the growth of our five women as they overcome their differences and learn to be friends. At the heart of it all is their struggle with identity – being a mother and being a woman – and how that difference impacts their relationship with others.

The new video teaser begins with all the moms attending a parent session before jumping to Lee Yo-won riding the elevator. Lee is shocked when she notices the little girl’s English language homework and she explains in voiceover, “What I hate most are mothers who push their own ambitions onto their children.” Her friend tells her not to look down on other moms and we see Lee Yo-won sitting by herself afterwards while the other moms have their own party in the background. The appearing captions introduce Lee’s character: “New ‘mom’ in Sangwi-dong, the holy ground of private schools / Lee Eun-pyo, a.k.a. Dong-seok’s mom.”

Cut to Chu Ja-hyun supervising her children’s homework and then applauding their violin performance at school. Chu argues, “In a country that only believes in credentials, raising an excellent and gifted child is work that benefits our country.” The captions describe her as: “Sangwi-dong’s top ‘insider’ / Byun Choon-hee, a.k.a. Yoon-bin’s mom.” We then transition to the next mom, Kim Gyuri, who elegantly weaves a rug while she asks, “I don’t have high expectations. Why do you keep trying to divide the children into different levels.” The teaser labels her as: “Sangwi-dong’s aloof ‘goddess’ / Seo Jin-ha, a.k.a. Yang-ri’s mom.”

Fourth in the sequence is Jang Hye-jin who actively takes part in protests, fighting for an education that supports the health and growth of children. At home, she greets her children warmly and the captions read: “Sangwi-dong’s self-proclaimed woke ‘mom’ / Kim Young-mi, a.k.a. Joon-pil’s mom.” We then move onto Joo Min-kyung who cheers at a childrens’ sports game. Her husband complains that all their money goes to their kid’s education and Joo retorts, “I wouldn’t do this if our Soo-in was just ordinary.” Her tagline reads: “Sangwi-dong’s over-the-top ‘mom’ / Park Yoon-joo, a.k.a. Soo-in’s mom.”

The video then cuts to the moms visiting their children at school. The teacher calls out to Lee Yo-won’s son and Lee is embarrassed by his behavior. Off screen, a woman tells Lee, “Your son is a troublemaker and disturbs lessons.” Lee then overhears gossip afterwards that some of the moms asked for their children to not be in the same homeroom as Lee’s son because he brings down their level.

An upset Lee Yo-won fights back, asking what defines a top level and who decides that. Getting petty revenge on the other moms, Lee threatens, “Don’t disrespect my son again, or else.” The teaser comes to a close with Chu Ja-hyun asking Lee why she changed her attitude. As she smiles watching her kids play, Lee responds, “If you want to know what’s longer or shorter, you need to actually measure them and compare.”

Written by Shin Yi-won and directed by PD Ra Hana, JTBC drama Green Mothers’ Club premieres April 6.

'Green Mothers Club' Lee Yo-won → Choo Ja-hyun, 5 individual teaser poster

optimize

A teaser poster of five people featuring the personalities of five mothers was released in ‘Green Mothers Club’.

Lee Yo-won (Lee Eun-pyo), Chu Ja-hyeon (Byeon Chun-hee), Kim Gyu-ri (Seo Jin-ha), Jang Hye-jin (Kim Young-mi), and Ju Min-kyung (Park Yun-joo), who gathered in Sangsu-dong, a special education district, gathered earlier in the second teaser video. As foretelling a fierce battle for private education, this time, the five-person teaser poster, which stands out from the different perspectives of mothers, is raising expectations for the upcoming elementary school community.

The released teaser poster draws attention as it depicts mothers staring at somewhere with different emotions. Various emotions are being conveyed from Yo-Won Lee, who bows down to make eye contact with the child, Ja-Hyun Choo looking at the other person with a gaze full of doubt, and Gyu-Ri Kim who opens rabbit eyes in surprise.

In addition, the contrasting temperature difference between Jang Hye-jin and Ju Min-kyung is also captured, drawing attention. Unlike Jang Hye-jin, who answers the phone with her anger-filled face, Jumin-kyung has a bright smile on her face, adding to the fun of seeing the joys and sorrows of mothers that can be felt just with her eyes.

On the other hand, the various eye levels of mothers are also attracting attention. It makes me wonder how mothers with various perspectives will gather at the 'Green Mothers Club', which says 'Korean mothers can't avoid it' without overlapping any of the top, bottom, and front, and how they will make eye contact.

Lee Yo Won, Chu Ja Hyun, Jang Hye Jin, And More Meet As Feuding Mothers In New Drama

dummy.jpeg?s=900x600&e=t

Mar 15, 2022
by E. Cha

JTBC’s upcoming drama “Green Mothers Club” (literal title) has unveiled a new poster!

“Green Mothers Club” is a drama about the dangerous relationships between parents at a local elementary school—and the hidden dark side of this seemingly friendly community. Lee Yo Won, Chu Ja Hyun, Jang Hye Jin, Kim Kyu Ri, and Joo Min Kyung will star as five very different mothers who belong to the same parents association at the school.

Lee Yo Won will star in the drama as Lee Eun Pyo, an ordinary housewife with a prestigious education, while Chu Ja Hyun will play Byun Choon Hee, the beautiful queen bee of the neighborhood who lives across the street. Armed with her stunning beauty and her uncanny ability to get hands on insider information, Byun Choon Hee stands proudly at the top of the social ladder among the parents at the elementary school. However, when Lee Eun Pyo moves in to the house opposite hers and joins the Green Mothers Club, a subtle “cold war” begins between the two women.

Kim Kyu Ri will star as Lee Eun Pyo’s former friend and current rival Seo Jin Ha, who lives in a luxurious penthouse and seems to have everything, from a handsome husband to a prodigy child. Jang Hye Jin will play Byun Choon Hee’s nemesis Kim Young Mi, who prides herself on being different from the other mothers, while Joo Min Kyung will play Lee Eun Pyo’s deceptively cheerful younger cousin Park Yoon Joo, who turns into a fierce “alpha mom” when it comes to her children and would do anything for them.

The newly released poster offers a sneak peek of the tensions that will arise between the five moms. Lee Eun Pyo wears a serious expression as she bends down to speak to her child at eye level, while Byun Choon Hee watches her suspiciously from afar. Seo Jin Ha appears to be surprised by something, while a furious Kim Young Mi can be seen yelling into her phone with her emotions on full display. Finally, Park Yoon Joo—who is Kim Young Mi’s polar opposite in terms of personality—wears a sunny smile as she talks to someone.

'Green Mothers Club' Jumin-kyung, a lively 'Alpha Mom' in the fierce elementary community

l_2022031802001072600205041.webp

Armed with her passion and solid intelligence, Park Yoon-ju is an 'alpha mom' who can do anything for her daughter. She invests in the education expenses of her daughter, who is forced to enter the special education zone 'upper-dong', and does not hesitate to do anything if she can get information. It is said that she is relieving the stress accumulated by her mothers in a secret way.

First, Ju Min-kyung (Park Yoon-joo) said, "At first, the subject of mothers' elementary school community was fresh," and shared his impressions when reading the script for the first time. She continued, “Since each character has such a strong personality, there was also an expectation of how it would be realized. I also had a sense of challenge that I wanted to show a new side of me through this work.”

It is a situation where I wonder what kind of character Park Yoon-joo is, who made her challenge her spirit on fire. Regarding this, she explained that she was “a character with a strong sense of urgency to live strong for her daughter, and also a quirky and cute character” and “For the sake of the child in my arms, I don’t care about other people’s eyes and think of myself as tall. I thought of my mother,” she added, adding her acting point.

She also said that playing the character Park Yoon-joo gave her a new perspective on parenting. “Since parenting from the script and from the perspective of Park Yoon-joo is dependent on the child’s grades and future, I briefly looked into the heart of a mother who seems to project her greed on her child. It seems to be a greed that stemmed from

Hyejin Jang “I got a big nose injury if I watched the mothers talk softly” (Green Mothers Club)

112372407.1.jpg

112372404.1.jpg

Actress Jang Hye-jin, who plays the role of Kim Young-mi, a self-proclaimed awake mother in the elementary school community, foretells a new look.

According to the production team, Kim Young-mi is a 'Scandi Mom' who considers herself to be an awake mother in the rising education special district 'Upper-dong', who values emotional connection with her children. In addition to the hot private education craze in 'Sangwi-dong', she criticizes the excessive prior learning of mothers and is walking the reader's path. However, if it is her injustice, it is said that she has a hidden secret, who can't stand her.

First, Jang Hye-jin (played by Kim Young-mi) said, "I felt more intense than any other meeting in the world, and the ever-changing emotional expressions contained in it were dynamic." . About Kim Young-mi's character, Jang Hye-jin said, "She is a wonderful person who is passionate about creating a better society. It is not easy to step forward and take action, so I support her day when she has to take care of society, her family, and herself."

Hyejin Jang also mentioned the point of watching the drama. “It hurts my nose if I read it softly because it’s a mother’s story, so you have to be alert the whole time you watch the drama.” He said, “Be mindful that laughter doesn’t make you smile because no one knows what kind of mother a mother will do.” . Because she was one before she was a mother,” she said.

112372406.1.jpg

Even in the photos released by the production team, you can get a glimpse of Kim Young-mi (Jang Hye-jin), who is passionate about changing society. Her determination to change society is evident in her eyes as she runs into protests with a sign that reads "Education at the edge of the cliff" around her neck, and in her eyes as she shares heated discussions with her mothers. On the other hand, Kim Young-mi, staring at her opponent, looks at her with a fighting spirit that cannot tolerate her injustice.

JTBC’s upcoming drama “Green Mothers’ Club” released a new teaser!

“Green Mothers’ Club” is a drama about the dangerous relationships between parents at a local elementary school—and the hidden dark side of this seemingly friendly community. Lee Yo Won, Chu Ja HyunJang Hye JinKim Kyu Ri, and Joo Min Kyung will star as five very different mothers who belong to the same parents association at the school.

Lee Yo Won will be playing the role of Lee Eun Pyo, an ordinary housewife with a prestigious education, while Chu Ja Hyun will play Byun Choon Hee, the beautiful queen bee of the neighborhood who lives across the street.

The new teaser begins with five women introducing themselves as someone’s mother rather than their own names. Rookie mother Lee Eun Pyo, who has just moved into the special educational district, finds the rules of the association that runs around Byun Choon Hee strange. The text on screen reads, “A strange relationship network in which they are neither friends nor coworkers.”

As her son struggles in school, Lee Eun Pyo narrates, “I have no information regarding education, and I don’t know what I should do for my child as a mother.” To Byun Choon Hee, Lee Eun Pyo asks, “Can you please help me?” Byun Choon Hee responds, “You have to find on your own what method works for your child. It won’t be solved even if you listen to advice.” The teaser asks the question, “Can adults become friends without any other motives?”

Gradually, Lee Eun Pyo begins to learn the rules of the parents association and even saves Byun Choon Hee’s daughter from danger. In the process, Lee Eun Pyo and Byun Choon Hee can’t help but grow closer as well. JTBC’s upcoming drama “Green Mothers’ Club” has unveiled intriguing character posters for its five leads!

“Green Mothers’ Club” is a new drama about the dangerous relationships between parents at a local elementary school—and the hidden dark side of this seemingly friendly community. Lee Yo Won, Chu Ja Hyun, Jang Hye Jin, Kim Kyu Ri, and Joo Min Kyung will star as five very different mothers who belong to the same parents association at the school.

Lee Yo Won will star in the drama as Lee Eun Pyo, an ordinary housewife with a prestigious education who has just moved into the neighborhood. Introducing her as “the new mom,” Lee Eun Pyo’s poster’s caption highlights her desire to differentiate herself from the other moms in their community: she insists dismissively, “Because I’m not that kind of mom.”

Meanwhile, Chu Ja Hyun will play Byun Choon Hee, the beautiful queen bee of the neighborhood who lives across the street from Lee Eun Pyo and stands at the top of the parents’ social ladder. Describing her as a strict “tiger mom,” her poster’s caption reads, “What I’m saying is the truth, isn’t it? That we have to get them to do what needs to be done.”

Kim Kyu Ri will play the role of Lee Eun Pyo’s former friend and current rival Seo Jin Ha, who lives in a luxurious penthouse and seems to have everything, from a handsome husband to a prodigy child. As an “outsider mom” whose views on raising children don’t match those of the other moms in their neighborhood, Seo Jin Ha says coolly, “To be honest, I don’t really ask for much from my kids.”

Jang Hye Jin will play Byun Choon Hee’s nemesis Kim Young Mi, who prides herself on taking a different approach to motherhood from Byun Choon Hee’s tiger mom parenting. As a mom who values an emotional connection with her kids, Kim Young Mi declare, “Wise moms need to stick together.”

Finally, Joo Min Kyung will play Lee Eun Pyo’s deceptively cheerful younger cousin Park Yoon Joo, who turns into a fierce “alpha mom” when it comes to her children and would do anything for them. Her caption ominously reads, “Even if it means I have to grind up my own bones, I will make it possible for [my kids] to do everything they want to do.”
