JTBC has released new stills from its upcoming drama “Green Mothers Club” (literal title)!

“Green Mothers Club” is about the dangerous relationships in a neighborhood association of parents at a local elementary school. The women in the association, who had come to think of themselves only as “mothers,” will reveal previously hidden secrets and learn about the meaning of “friendship” in adulthood.

Lee Yo Won will be taking on her first role as a mother in the character of Lee Eun Pyo, a woman with a strong sense of pride in her high-class education. Chu Ja Hyun will play Byun Choon Hee, the beautiful trendsetter of the parents’ association who has the ability to get her hands on insider information. Kim Kyu Ri will play the role of Seo Jin Ha, Eun Pyo’s friend-turned-rival, while Jang Hye Jin will play Kim Young Mi, Choon Hee’s nemesis. Joo Min Kyung will play the role of Prk Yoon Joo, Eun Pyo’s younger cousin.

In the newly released stills, Lee Eun Pyo walks hand in hand with her two sons to school, looking tired as she accompanies them. She wears comfortable clothes, looking as if she has just rushed to get her sons ready in the morning. In contrast, Byun Choon Hee looks neat and put together in a light peach blouse and skirt. She glares sharply at something off-camera as she holds her daughter’s hand.

Other photos show Seo Jin Ha looking relaxed yet stylish in a clean white dress and unbuttoned blue shirt, taking a phone call while her son looks up at her.

Meanwhile, Kim Young Mi stands next to other concerned parents who are seemingly protesting an issue at the school. She holds a sign that says, “Elementary education on the edge of a cliff,” hinting at her dissatisfaction with the school system.

Finally, in the last picture, Park Yoon Joo smiles brightly as she gently draws her two children into her arms.

Lee Yo Won, Chu Ja Hyun, Jang Hye Jin, And More Show Off Chemistry As Fiercely Competitive Mothers At Script Reading For New Drama

JTBC’s upcoming drama “Green Mothers Club” (literal title) has shared a glimpse of its first table read!

“Green Mothers Club” is a drama about the dangerous relationships between parents at a local elementary school—and the hidden dark side of this seemingly friendly community. Lee Yo Won, Chu Ja Hyun, Jang Hye Jin, Kim Kyu Ri, and Joo Min Kyung will star as five very different mothers who belong to the same parents association at the school.

According to those present at the script reading, the five actresses hit it off right away and displayed great real-life chemistry, getting along fabulously from the start. However, as soon as the table read began, all that friendly conversation and heartwarming atmosphere vanished in the blink of an eye—and the actresses instantly transformed into their scheming and intensely competitive characters, who hide calculating gazes behind their fake smiles.

Lee Yo Won will star in the drama as Lee Eun Pyo, an ordinary housewife with a prestigious education, while Chu Ja Hyun will play Byun Choon Hee, the beautiful queen bee of the neighborhood who lives across the street. Armed with her stunning beauty and her uncanny ability to get hands on insider information, Byun Choon Hee stands proudly at the top of the social ladder among the parents at the elementary school. However, when Lee Eun Pyo moves in to the house opposite hers and joins the Green Mothers Club, a subtle “cold war” begins between the two women.

JTBC has unveiled a teaser poster for its upcoming drama “Green Mothers Club” (literal title)!

“Green Mothers Club” is about the dangerous relationships in a neighborhood association of parents at a local elementary school. The women in the association, who had come to think of themselves only as “mothers,” will reveal previously hidden secrets and learn about the meaning of “friendship” in adulthood.

Lee Yo Won will star as Lee Eun Pyo, a woman with a strong sense of pride in her high-class education. Chu Ja Hyun will play Byun Choon Hee, the beautiful trendsetter of the parents’ association who has the ability to get her hands on insider information. Kim Kyu Ri will take the role of Seo Jin Ha, Lee Eun Pyo’s friend-turned-rival, while Jang Hye Jin will play Kim Young Mi, Byun Choon Hee’s nemesis. Joo Min Kyung will turn into Park Yoon Joo, Lee Eun Pyo’s younger cousin.

The newly released poster captures the strange tension between Lee Eun Pyo and Byun Choon Hee. First off, Lee Eun Pyo looks both awkward and wary as she struggles to adjust in her new environment.
