Seohyun And Yoon Ji Hye Showcase Mother-Daughter Chemistry As People With Extraordinary Gifts In “Jinxed At First”

“Jinxed at First” shared an intriguing glimpse of Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun and Yoon Ji Hye!

Based on a webtoon of the same name, “Jinxed at First” is a fantasy romance drama about what happens when a poor, unlucky man, who has accepted his unfortunate fate, meets a goddess of fortune, who jumps out into the unknown to undo a curse despite having been hidden away by a chaebol family. Na In Woo will be playing Seodong Market’s fish seller Gong Soo Kwang who has a special jinx, and Seohyun will be playing Seul Bi who has the special ability of seeing the future of the person she touches.

The drama recently released new stills that show the relationship between Seul Bi and her mother Mi Soo (Yoon Ji Hye), who also has the ability to see the future. The production crew hinted that the two women will experience tragedy due to their special powers.

In the photos, Seohyun and Yoon Ji Hye portray a very close mother-daughter duo. In one photo, they share a tender, affectionate hug, but Seul Bi’s eyes are full of concern. Another photo shows them staring at someone with Seul Bi looking fearful and Mi Soo appearing cold and stiff. The two characters are in danger solely because they’re different from others, and fans can look forward to seeing how they will deal with this crisis.

Expectations are high for Seohyun, who will turn into a “goddess of luck” and show her transformation into a bubbly character, and Yoon Ji Hye, who will depict warm motherhood with her unique softness. Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun Talks About Her Role As A Unique Goddess Of Fortune In “Jinxed At First”

Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun is getting ready to capture viewers’ hearts with her lovable role in “Jinxed at First”!

Based on a webtoon of the same name, “Jinxed at First” is a fantasy romance drama about what happens when a poor, unlucky man, who has accepted his unfortunate fate, meets a goddess of fortune, who jumps out into the unknown to undo a curse despite having been hidden away by a chaebol family.

Seohyun plays the role of Seul Bi, who has the special ability of seeing the future of any person she touches. Due to this ability, Seul Bi is forced to suffer the shame of living in captivity. When Seul Bi gets to spend a magical day with Gong Soo Kwang (Na In Woo), she’s introduced to a new world she has yet to experience.

Seohyun shared, “Seul Bi is a character who does not forget her childlike purity and has the courage to defy her own fate. She has a positive outlook on the world and has a lot of curiosity. I think our personalities are similar in terms of the tendency to want to try new things.”

To describe Seul Bi in three keywords, Seohyun chose “frog out of the well,” “14-dimensional girl,” and “a romantic.” She explained, “Seul Bi is a character who is curious about everything in the world and has a strong desire to learn. I think of her as a character who would never be satisfied within a well and comes out of that well on her own two feet.”

Seohyun continued, “Seul Bi loves all living things that exist on earth and has deep knowledge about them. I think of her as a ’14-dimensional girl’ who has a special perspective of the world.” She added, “[Seul Bi is] a genuine romantic who doesn’t have an ounce of fear or hesitation in the face of love.”

While acting as Seul Bi, Seohyun shared, “I focused on expressing Seul Bi’s personality well, which has a clear glass-like purity. In order to match the webtoon character, I created Seul Bi while thinking about the details of her everyday movements.”
