The stars of KBS 2TV’s “Jinxed at First” have shared their thoughts on the upcoming drama!

Based on a webtoon called “The Jinx’s Lover,” “Jinxed at First” is a fantasy romance drama about what happens when a poor, unlucky man stumbles upon a goddess of fortune, who has jumped out into the unknown to undo a curse despite having been hidden away by a chaebol family.

Na In Woo will star as the “jinxed” fish seller Gong Soo Kwang, while Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun will be playing Seul Bi, who has the special power of being able to see a person’s future when she touches them.

Describing the drama as a fun, healing story, Seohyun remarked, “I hope that at least during the time you’re watching the drama, you can set your worries aside and enjoy it while healing.”

She also shared, “For people who have read the webtoon first, I think there will be another kind of fun in comparing the elements that have been adapted while watching.”

 

 

Meanwhile, Na In Woo teased that viewers should keep an eye on the magical necklace that will play a key role in the plot.

“The necklace plays an extremely important role in the story,” said the actor. “It’s an item that contains all of the secrets and detailed images of the characters.”

He went on to add, “I think that if you watch while thinking of the necklace as a character instead of an item, you’ll be able to gain a deeper understanding [of the story] and enjoy the drama more.”

Based on a webtoon of the same name, “Jinxed at First” is a fantasy romance drama about what happens when a poor, unlucky man, who has accepted his unfortunate fate, meets a goddess of fortune, who jumps out into the unknown to undo a curse despite having been hidden away by a chaebol family.

Na In Woo will star as the “jinxed” fish seller Gong Soo Kwang, while Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun will be playing Seul Bi who has the special power of being able to see a person’s future when she touches them.

Regarding her chemistry with Na In Woo, Seohyun shared, “I think he’s an actor with great passion who always does his best, works sincerely, and never lets go of the script. He has great affection for the project as well as his character, and he is very thoughtful, so it was really great working with him. I felt that he is a flexible actor who portrays diverse acting based on the situation on set.”

 

 

On his thoughts on his co-star Seohyun, Na In Woo remarked, “She keeps all her senses open and has a broad view while simultaneously staying focused. All the scenes we did together were expressed well with great immersion, and I feel grateful for Seohyun for filling in the parts I was lacking and going above and beyond.”

Based on a webtoon called “The Jinx’s Lover,” “Jinxed at First” is a new fantasy romance drama about what happens when a poor, unlucky man stumbles upon a goddess of fortune, who has jumped out into the unknown to undo a curse despite having been hidden away by a chaebol family.

Na In Woo will star as the “jinxed” fish seller Gong Soo Kwang, while Girls’ Generation‘s Seohyun will star as Seul Bi, who has the special power of being able to see a person’s future when she touches them.

Kim Jung Tae will be playing the role of Kang Ho Jae, the husband of one of the business owners at Seodong Market (the marketplace where Gong Soo Kwang works). While his wife toils away to make a living, Kang Ho Jae barely lifts a finger to help her out at work; instead, he spends all his time dreaming of hitting the jackpot without much effort.

 

 

Hong Suk Chun will be playing Lee Joo Yong, a bachelor who is practically a celebrity at Seodong Market and whose store only sells women’s clothing. Over the course of the story, he will repeatedly become entangled with Lee Seul Bi and Gong Soo Kwang.

 

 

Finally, Lee Hoon will be playing Secretary Jung, a man who played a key role in the ill-fated meeting between Lee Seul Bi’s mother Mi Soo (Yoon Ji Hye) and Seon Sam Joong (Jun Kwang Ryul) 20 years ago.

Newly released after having spent the past 20 years in prison, Secretary Jung is determined to take revenge on Seon Sam Joong, and he seeks out Gong Soo Kwang in the hopes of using him in his quest for vengeance.
